You've certainly entrapped my attention with such an enthralling world.
I might submit a character; I'm quite unsure though. You seem so very hardcore about it, and submitting a rather mellow character would dull your edgy, die-hard attitude of the roleplay.

No no no, you've misunderstood me; I meant characters created for the tournament are disposable; for example - if I created a character, he wouldn't have to play an important role, he'd just be like... a fighter guy dude.

On words of the tech, I would have to say that above steampunk era is roughly where they'd be. 360 Tan is right. Even World War II technology (analogical with Dieselpunk) would bring death and destruction like a swift hoard of teeming, voracious velocoraptors. Tanks would roll through the stone wall...
