Okay. Is him having a human form acceptable? I don't know, but it'd be pretty hard for him to blend in with people without one. Someone pretends to be them and removes them from the situation as soon as the other people involved think its needed. Their character can just stay off to the side until/if they come back. If anyone wants their character to interact with Dark, simply have them walk around alone on the third floor and he'll show up pretty quickly.
