Concerning RPs: I prefer fantasy, although I can be convinced to try a scifi or realistic…maybe. I like creatures that follow legends rather than pop culture, but am open to well-crafted ideas. I do not like sparkly vampires. I also do not like sixteen year old females that are beautiful, have the power to control elements and other people’s emotions, and the ability to talk to animals and plants. Also, don’t like ‘amnesia’ characters – never seen one that was well written. Or people who use a character from a video game in what is supposed to be an original RP, not a fan-RP. Or people that (role)play with themselves. Or god-moders. Or power-players. Or people that don’t use caps, punctuation, or even make a faint attempt at spelling correctly. I’m particularly bad at spelling, grammar, and sentence structure, which is why I’m science major and not a literature major. Still, I consider myself to not be bad at roleplaying and it kills me when it looks like people don’t even try. I can get picky on details (especially if it is something that I think should be obvious to the public – Native Americans in the 1400s did not live in apartments, for example) but try to let it go. In all honesty… there are a lot more things that annoy me and make me unhappy than make me happy. Oh well.
