Summer's eyes followed Lee as he staggered from the room without a word. Well alright then? She sat down on the sofa and leaned forward to pick her book off the coffee table, but the guy who'd helped her move Lee earlier came to stand infront of her. She looked up. "What?"
"Maybe you should go with him? He looks a bit out of it, still."
"Yeah, okay." Summer shrugged, grabbed her sketchpad, and left the room to catch up with Lee. She lagged behind him a little - mainly so she didn't get squashed if he decided to fall over - and he didn't seem to notice her, shutting his door before she reached it. Not letting this bother, she sat on the floor, her back to Lee's door, and tapped lightly on the wood. "Lee?" she called softly, concern in her voice. "Its me. You okay?" There was no reply, but that was alright. She could wait. Resting her sketchpad against her knees, she started to sketch the small table opposite her. Her head snapped up as she heard something - glass, maybe? - hit the floor in Lee's room. Standing up, Summer knocked on the door, louder this time. "Lee! You okay?" Still no answer. Screw this. She grabbed the handle, and pushed the door open.
The first thing Summer saw in the room was a blinding light; the light from the corridor had reflected back off the mirror shard. Stepping sideways, her eyes soon took in the rest of the room; the bed, the small bedside table, the mirror shard itself, which she now saw was covered in blood, and Lee, lying in the corner. A startled cry escaped her lips as she rushed forward, dropped to her knees and pulled him up by the collar of his shirt. It was only then that she noticed the deep gash in his wrist, and the blood flowing freely. "Lee! Oh my god, what have you done?!"
