Dayayra Burgos/Huntress



Born September 23rd 1995, aged 29.

Mixed races, predominantly Caucasian.

No Known Affiliations - She has been reported fighting alongside the local militia countering Ares, her background does not fit into the scenario, most likely she is a hired mercenary or a rogue-soldier. The latter is more probable because the militia does not have the money to hire mercenaries.

Description - She is 5-11 and weighs 146-strategically placed-pounds, as fully matured woman and due to the physical demands of her line of work, her body is well toned and exqusitly built making her an imposing figure. Her skin is tanned since she has lived in tropical climate he whole life. Her hair is reddish brown but as it grows longer and due to her age the color dims out to near black. Here eyes tend to be described as a faded blue or teal, this depends on the light conditions.

Personality - Huntress has a high sense of duty, focuses on her mission and leaves very little space for anything else. She is reserved and keeps to herself but is open to any approach, it is uncommon but not rare for her to start a conversation, if not related to her mission. She's is sociable but secretive about her persona, she skillfully eludes conversations focused on herself, she is very observing of people's attitudes, behavior and intentions. It takes years of interaction and honesty to get close to her.

Skills And Abilities

Marksman - During the civil war in her home country the side she joined was outnumbered 12 to 1, the conservative forces she fought against were fully equipped and backed by a foreign PMC. The revolutionary forces were consisted entirely of under equipped infantry. Sniper's became a popular and effective tactic against the enemy.

Strategist - A short lived addiction to RTS (Real Time Strategy) games triggered tactical thinking in her mind before the war. During the conflict her valor in combat allured soldiers towards her, she was forced to lead them to battle with little commanding experience, by trial and error and many casualties she learned the art of logistics and strategy. By the end of the war she was the most experienced commander.

Stealth - Stealth and deception was also a tactic used against the conservative forces and its contracted PMC in urban areas, disguised as civilians and concealing sub machine guns, hit and run attacks were carried out against unsuspecting soldiers deep behind enemy lines. After the incorporation of x-ray vision in the arsenal of the PMC this technique was rendered useless.

Endurance - Before the war the Huntress used to play volleyball her love for the game was almost obsessive, she was know for being able to play between 6 to 7 games without any breaks in between. During the first staged of the war much time was spent just trying to stay alive and away from the enemy, many times fleeing from one city to another on foot in to the countryside. Some failed operations left her and few others in hostile territory and far away from safety. These long campaigns for survival added to her fortitude against adversity.

Speeder - A natural born talent, she is able to relocate from one position to another very quickly sometime creating the illusion of fighting more then one opponent.

Bio - The Huntress was born Dayayra Angelina Mercedes Burgos in the year 2015 in Ciudad Del Sur (South City), Dominican Republic. Daughter to Pedro Enrique Oliveras Burgos and Maritza Mercedes Mercedes, both of whom worked in a family business of tailoring. She had three younger siblings, Tito, Ninoska and Joan. The latter two died during the war along with her mother.

Despite the general poverty of the country and the high crime rate before the war, she lived a typical middle class life. She lived with her mother and father, until the age of ten, when they divorced. Her mother obtained custody of her and her brothers and sisters. She studied in one of the many Trinitario schools in the country making it to third grade of middle school, the second last grade before superior education.



She was influenced by Johan Burnet, a business man that had gained popularity by investing in the commonwealth of all Dominicans.

It was in one of the Tinitario schools founded by him that Dayayra's initiation in arms started. In these schools the revolutionary ideas where fed to the younger generations creating a mass of educated supporters. She took "special classes" that subtly gave her the knowledge that would be useful during war times. Such as manufacturing of munitions through science projects and tactics and strategy by playing video games.

In 2011, Johan Burnet ignited a civil war against the current government due to high taxes and the poor service to the citizens, outrageous corruption and the involvement in drug trafficking. Dayayra, sixteen at the time, would join covertly as a supporter and formally as a fighter in 2012.

During the early days of war Dayayra met a soldier name Wilmer Baez whom she fell in love with and gave birth to a daughter at the age of seven-teen, Georgiana. She bore a second child of his named Carlos, but the father died in battle before she gave birth.

During the course of the war, for her valor in combat, her logistical knowledge, her masterfully orchestrated military operations and the training of revolutionary forces, she gained the code name Huntress.



After the revolutionary victory in 2016, The Huntress was offered the command of all the military forces in the reformed Dominican Republic. She declined this offer but still holds a high rank although not assigned to any department.
