sesha, damn we haven't seen you in ages.

Nice artwork so far, just under 2 weeks left

I think i'm going to have to pull out.
I'm totally swamped, and i'm not going to get this coloured in time.
Plus I really hate the picture now, and i'm certain I won't be able to get a better one drawn..

Name: Reika

Species: Shigami of Fire

Appearance: She has long red hair in multiple pony tails, and amber eyes. She's about 5' 7 with an athletic body. In artistic pictures of her from her country, she wears a red and gold Japanese style kimono, but she prefers to wear brown shorts, a red Chinese styled top, and a brown arm bands.

Personality: Reika is short tempered, witty, and quite indifferent toward anything not directly concerning her, or her current master. She can come off as smug, arrogant and rude at times, but she’s quite warm hearted when it comes to people she loves, her friends, and kids. She’s fairly laid back as long as she’s not angry, or around Vada (the Shigami of Water). She also hates wizards.

Brief Bio: Reika is the Shigami of Fire, and has the ability to manipulate, create, and at times even become fire. She is one of the four immortal beings called the Shigami. 500 years ago the was a great war between the four nations, that forced the involvement of the Shigami. Once the war was over however, the people feared their protectors’ awesome power. Reika was betrayed by her best friend, who was a wizard, and he placed a powerful curse on the four to ensure the safety of the people. The Shigami are cursed to be the slaves of the humans who find them, and to serve them. Reika has been the shigami who was found to most, for her power. In 500 years she’s fought more than 200 wars. She’s a weapon, and warfare exspert.

Aww thanks Yami! I haven't seen you either!! I missed this site so much and now finally have the time to get my RPs going and join some cool ones! I am working on my sketch...just need to do some coloring!

Okay so here is the link because it won't load onto the forums...*grr* It was my first time doing a character contest and my scanner sucks butt so the image doesn't have the greatest quailty. So here goes nothing!


I thought that Richelle has that sweet yet sassy attitude so I made her have flowers and close her eyes as if to say, 'You can look but you can't touch. Yes I know I am sweet.'

Name:Sesha

Species: Human

Hair: Long black hair, usually left flowing with it hanging in her eyes

Eyes: Deep green eyes that seem to sparkle

Clothes: Sesha wears a puple tank top. Over her legs she wears a pair of worn out jeans. They have random holes and worn patches. On her feet she wears a pair of black army boots. Over all of this she has a black cloak and sometimes she will flip her hood up to hide her face. She also has a black studded belt that hangs crooked on her hips. She has fingerless black gloves and a single black ribbon worn about her neck.

Appearance: Sesha is a slim girl with an atheltic build. She has trained in martial arts since she was a little girl and has built up strong arms. She has pale skin from constantly being inside or in the dark and shadows. She is pretty in her own way but not exceptionally beautiful. She carries a red bladed sword at her side at all times.

Personality: Sesha is a bit of a rogue. She is a quiet but smart girl. She is a bit of a loner but has a few trusted friends. She usually has a solemn look to her face but when she smiles it lights up her whole person. She likes to wander the world just learning the ways of the different people.

Brief Biography: Sesha was born into a world where no one wanted her. Her mother died at childbirth and her father treated her badly. She was treated like a slave in her own home and had to fight for anything she earned. Finally at age 12 she decided that she needed to get out. She ran away. Where she was going, she didn't even know. Four years later she heard word that her father had past away. She returned home for the first time in awhile and found that it was true. Her father had left her nothing but the red-bladed sword which she now carried at her side at all times. From that point she has been wandering the world trying to find a place to belong.

I wasn't sure what the Fledgling looked like, so I took some liberties. Here's my entry, done in acrylics.

Name: Lady Delvynn

Species: Fey (Fairy)

Appearance: She has long, red, curly hair. She is beautiful, with a pleasing figure, rather petite. Her fairy heritage is evident in her pointed ears and perhaps a greenish tint to her skin. Richly dressed in a sixth-century samite gown, dark-colored hooded cloak, and a bejeweled girdle belt and rings on her fingers.

Personality: Almost entirely evil. She is short-tempered, selfish and deceitful. Like most fey, she is very promiscuous. But she can be charming if she wants someone to like her, and she shows creativity and intelligence (sometimes) in her plots.

Brief Biography: She has a shady background, including apprenticing under Dame Brisen, a notorious potion-brewer. She took residence in the Lake (the one in Arthurian legends) while Lancelot was a squire, being raised by Vivienne, the Lady of the Lake. Delvynn fell in love with Lancelot when she had prophetic visions of the great knight he would become. When she tried to seduce him, Vivienne found out and banished her from the Lake. Delvynn then became the mistress of Iweret, the Black Knight and enemy of Vivienne. Delvynn helped Iweret capture Vivienne with a magic mirror. With Vivienne out of the way, she returned to the Lake and became the new Lady of the Lake. She attempted once more to seduce Lancelot, this time disguised as Guinevere, but failed. Iweret came to the Lake, had an argument with his former mistress, and sliced off her head. While she was alive, she was a very powerful fey and specialized in the use of enchanted mirrors.

I am so jealous of your skills, daughterofdon AND the fact that Artwork mods aren't eligible to compete to get their own RP characters featured and get free fan-art. Alas, this is the burden we must bear!

Wow, that's wonderful! Thank you. I'm excited to see what comes out of July's contest. The other representations of Richelle were very good, and I'm glad Kohananinja placed. I thought her entry was very cute. And thanks for the previous comments--stealing this painting from the Fledgling! He he he!
