Midnight's Child
Story: Long ago there was a beast that roamed the world, born in darkness by the evil desires of the human heart; this beast devoured human souls and left nothing but destruction in its path. A group of warriors arose with the power to stop this demon before it destroyed the human race, gifted with the power to manipulate Light, these warriors subdued the beast and placed it under a magical spell that put it into a deep sleep. This sleeping monster was hidden away deep under the ice of a now Alaskan town. Hundreds of years later a group of people who had heard the legend of the beast set out to find it by following a map stolen from a museum. With a stroke of luck they managed to find what they were looking for, the problem was a barrier around the beast made solely out of pure Light, they couldn't break through it, whoever attempted to touch it instantly dropped dead, for there is darkness in every heart. Another legend later turned up on an old, barely readable, piece of material similar to paper. It told of a child who was born at midnight exactly, this child had a heart of purity, no darkness was to be found, only the truest form of Light. This child held the power to lift the barrier around the beast, not personally, it was in it's blood. It would have to be taken to where the demon was and sacrificed, the blood then would have to be circled around the barrier. Only then could the beast be reawakend. The Soul Eaters, as they have deemed themselves, are now searching for this child so that the beast may rise once more and wipe out the human race. There is another group, direct descendants of the old warriors of Light, known as the The Chosen, who have received the power of Light just as their ancestors had. They are trying to find the child and protect it before all hope is lost, once the beast is risen all hope is lost. What will happen, in a race to save humanity.
A/N: I put a lot of time into this idea, and if it happens to be similar to someone elses work it purely coincidence. I need someone to play the child, it can be male or female. Send me a pm before making the character because I have some details about it that you'll need beforehand. I'll need a leader for the The Chosen, I'll be taking the role of the Soul Eater's leader. I need the child, the other leader, and atleast two other people before the IC can go up. If any of you need more information on anything just ask me and I'll gladly help you out.

Romance is allowed, but by no means should it become the main basis of the roleplay.
If clothes start flying off you need to take it elsewhere.
No excessive cursing, its just tasteless.
No one-liners, thats the easiest way to get yourself kicked out of the RP.
Try to keep a minimum of five sentences per post, thats not asking much at all.
Stick with the plotline, don't go off and do your own thing unless I tell you to.
Let me know if you can't post for some reason, or must drop out, don't just disappear.
