Seth kicked in a door, and walked into a room with his weapon drawn. He had 9mm ready to fire in one hand, and a flashlight in the other. Ever since he came to this city, he's been jumpy. All the infected running through the streets, and then suddenly disappearing. It just bothered him is all. He was searching an abandoned office building, looking for anything that could be of any use, and thinking back on it, decides that this wasn't the smartest of ideas. "What would i find in a office building?" he said to himself. The room was covered in dried blood, and the furniture had been tossed around. "Must've been some hell of a party" he said sarcastically.

Jack looked out from the upturned peice of furniture and saw the guy standing there holding a gun.
"must have been some hell of a party" he said and Jack crawled further back into his hiding place, behind the upturned couch. He had allready been attacked by a madman with a gun and really didn't like the idea of it happening again.

Seth aimed his gun at the upturned couch after hearing something moving around behind it. His first thought was to empty the clip into it and kill whatever was behind there. But that would be wasting bullets, and he was not about to do that. Every bullet was another step closer to survival. He stepped to the side aiming at the couch ready to shoot the being hiding behind it. "I swear if you're not infected, you'd better speak now or have your brains in a masterpiece on the wall" he said in a agitated tone. His finger on the trigger ready to pull.

Caelan was being being chased by one of the infected. She ran down the street looking for a place to hide. She pushed over trashcans trying to the stop the person who was chasing her as she continued running to a old office building. She looked back but didn't see anyone, but she also wasn't going to take the chance of being killed so she ran inside and stopped for a moment before running down the hall and to a room where she closed the door behind her and began backing up looking at the door.

As she was backing up she ran into someone else and jumped. She turned to look at the person who she ran into.

"I swear if you're not infected, you'd better speak now or have your brains in a masterpiece on the wall" said the guy with the gun,
"damn it" Jack mouthed under his breath "Hey I'm a normal person don't shoot" Jack shouted out from behind the couch.
"I'm coming out, please for the love of god don't shoot me" Jack said, noticing uncomfortably that his voice broke to a squeal.
Jack rose from the couch with his hands up, he saw a guy standing there holding the gun at jacks head.
There was a crash. And suddenly a girl burst through the door walking backwards and strait into the guy with the gun...

"don't shoot" the guy shouted as he rose from behind the couch. Seth was relieved that he wasn't one of the infected, and began to lower his gun. Suddenly someone burst into the room, and bumped into seth which scared the living crap out of him. He jumped and pulled the trigger, shooting a bullet that barely missed the guy that came from behind the couch head. Seth turned around and aimed the gun at the girl. Upon closer inspection, he saw she wasn't one of them. "Good god almighty. You scared me shitless" he said sighing a sigh of relief.

This instant the girl had bumped into the guy with the gun, he had pulled the trigger. Jack flinched as bullets skimmed past his head missing by about two centemeters.

"good god almighty" Jack heard the guy say "You scared me shitless"
"Your not the only one" Jack said to him "Can you please stop pointing that gun at people please?"

Caelan had taken a step back when the guy turned to face her. "Sorry..one of them was chasing me out on the street and ran into the building..I don't know if he's still out there." she said looking around. She looked at the boy who came out from behind the couch before looking around the room again.

Jack stepped toward the door picking up the pole he had been using to defend himself. He peeked around the corner, he couldn't see any infected but he didn't like the fact that there was one there.

"Do you have any idea were it got to?" Jack asked the girl.

Caelan shook her head. "I don't know if it followed me into the building or stayed outside." she said watching the boy with the pole and the guy with the gun. She backed away from the door so they could do their job.

Jack hated this, he had been using that pole to smash heads of zombies that he had found allready dead (just to make sure) he had no idea how to fight a 'living' one.

"Can you handle this" He asked the guy with the Gun "My weapon is a pole that's bent at the end, you have guns!"

"Well actually I'm running low on ammo. If its more of them than i have bullets, me mind as well kiss our asses goodbye" he said looking at the boy with the pole. Seth holstered his gun and ran into another room and opened the closet door. He backed away, then kicked in the closet wall into another closet of the next room over. Seth looked back at the two and motioned for them to come on, but to keep quiet. He proceeded through the hole first and head for the door, leaning against the wall. He peaked out and looked out both ends of the hallway, no infected in sight.

Caelan looked at the boy with the pole before following the guy with the gun. She went through the hole he made and looked at him. "Where are we going?" she asked quietly as she looked around.

Seth kept his voice low and peaked out again. "Well if i were by myself, this wouldn't be so tough. But because of recent events, i just can't leave you here, I'll have to find a way to get us all out." he said. "I suggest we head for the maintenance stairs. It'll take us straight to the loading docks. There might be a car there, if not, its at least a way out" he said walking out the room. He kept close to the walls as he walked down the hall. Seth motioned for the others to follow but keep quiet.

Her heartbeat was slowing down, her eyes dropping. Until she heard footsteps outside the door. Her heart skipped about three beats, her eyes widened. Well, what did she want? I private hotel? She pulled knees up to her chest, blue eyes wide. The vent was kicked open, she put a hand over mouth, her eyes widening and shaking more. A figure stepped out, an infected. This face looked familiar, even in the dark. It was her best friend. She had to kill her. She looked at the door, it wasn't a bad distance away. Maybe if she jumped. She looked back at her once friend. She screamed. She was directly in Tomi's face, a smile spread across her face. Her eyes where blank and lifeless, her skin a sickly color. She opened her mouth to speak, the girl's only chance. She quickly grabbed her pistol, putting it in the monster's mouth, right in between her two front teeth. And shot. The bang was heard all over the building, blood was splattered on her face, tears rolling uncontrollably down as she watched the body fall limply onto the ground.

OOC- She's in a room in the same hallway the three peoplez are in right now, btw

Seth froze and jumped at the same time [if thats possible] when the gunshot went off. He reasoned that the gunshot came from a gun, and a gun had to be held by a person who isn't infected. He ran down the hall and burst into the room, un-holstered his gun and aimed around. A girl with a corpse laying in front of her shat there with a gun in her hand. The girl was crying, and staring into the distance. Must have been someone she cared about he concluded. Seth knelled next to the girl, putting his gun away. "Hey listen. I'm sorry you had to experience this but you have to get up...now" he said helping her to her feet. He walked over to the window and saw a literal army of infected cramming into the front door of the building. "Just my luck" he said walking back to the girl. "we need to leave now"

Tomi blushed slightly when he helped her to her feet, whipping tears from her eyes she took deep breaths "On the top....of this building there's" another deep breath "There's a rope connecting this building...to the one next to it....that's how I go here" a shaky breath "The window is open in other building....we can easily slide there using a piece of cloth to get to the next building" now that she had forced her crying to be pushed inside, her voice was steady. "And be undetected." she whipped some blood off her face, looking around in the small group she was in "Uhm, my name is Tomi"

"Seth" he said nudging the body with his foot, making sure it was completely dead. "Well we have a need to get to that building, so if you don't mind, will you led us there?" Seth asked looking deep into Tomi's eyes. He could tell she saw a lot of horrible things. Things that a normal person wouldn't be able to handle. He too has seen horrible things, even before this incident happened. He coped with it by drinking himself asleep. It may not have been the healthiest thing to do, but everyone had some way of coping and this was his.

Wincing, she looked away from the corpse. Then Seth's eyes caught her's, she stared back into his. She could tell he saw horrible things as well. She felt reassured, somehow. She nodded at his question "Of course" she answered, she looked back at the two others, then back at him, eyes still slightly glossy.

Seth somehow felt saddened looking into her eyes. He wanted to hug her and say "its alright" but now was not the time. "Okay, theres no time to waste" he said walking into the hallway. He looked down one way and it was clear. Down there other was an infected that caught Seth in its vision. The infected hesitated at first, eyesing Seth's gun, then it lunged at him. Seth took aim, and didn't flinch. He pulled the trigger and the infected dropped to the ground at Seth's feet...dead. Seth ran to the end of the hall and looked down to see if more were behind it. He saw none for now. "Lets go" he said waiting for Tomi to lead the way.
