Moon Ridge is an old, decrepit insane asylum. It's inhabitants vary from slightly normal, to so far gone they are in a padded room. Strange things happen every once in a while, as it would seem that a few of the guards are just as loony as the inhabitants of the asylum.

The asylum is two stories. The offices, cafeteria, and lobby are on the first floor, and the cells, meeting rooms, and emergency rooms are on the second floor. Many of the rooms have not been used in a great while. Some for a specific reason, while others for reasons that no one knows about.

There is also a basement, that few know about. In it, is the morgue and the laboratory, where a few of the doctors that work at the asylum do experiments on the patients. The walls are soundproof, and impenatrable unless you have the key. Altogether, the scenario is quite a bit like Stephen King's Kingdom Hospital. Screams can often be heard at night, and even a few of the guards have issues. It is not a very well kept place, but it is there for those that have no where else to go.

Plot: "Okay, so we all know what happens when people go insane, right? Well, if they are caught they are put in the Mental hospital, right? Well, what about those people you never hear about, how about those..Beings that shouldn't be here, that have strange powers and..things go a little strange?

Welcome to Moon ride Mental Hospital, the decrepit building where your very own government hides...us.Who are we, who are us? Picture those thigns that, well, you don't want to know about. A child, five years old, goes on a murdering rampage..Why? Those things that, no one can explain suddenly happening? Those superhuman beings, or those things that go bump in the night..What happens if they are captured?

Welcome to Moon Ridge Mental Hospital, can you hear those broken screams, those long, drawn out moans. I assure you, there is no one in there..Or, at least, that's the story the locals will tell you. I..I can tell you the truth. You see, I've been in there, peeked through those windows and used my own power..DON'T TELL. I don't want to go in there. Those people, those things..They're real, I tell you. Things happen..Don't get caught, don't show your po- NO! DON'T TAKE ME AWAY."

"Well, Mark...That man sure had a lot to say..What do you think?" The newswoman spoke to the anchor man besides her. "Well, Kathy. As you can tell, that man was delusional. There is nothing up in the old place, no residence in Moon Ridge."

Description: A small, slender, girl with scratch marks on her pale skin. Long nails that, despite attempts, have not been shortened. Mismatched green and gold eyes, white hair that spirals past her bottom and a pair of black ears. She has a small tail attached to her tailbone and tends to be in a straight jacket most of the time. Other than that she is dressed in a pair of white scrubs.

Description: Long brown curls, all the way down to her lower back. She is very tan, with scars all up and down her arms and on her face. Her brown eyes are haunted. She wears the standard uniform for patients. A long, bright blue kaftan, and blue slippers.

Reason for being in the Asylum: Complete disregard for human life.

Short History: Ever since his childhood, Johan has been fascinated by death. He'd kill any animal just to see if it died. When he was a teenager, he developed his own martial arts style, and by age 20 the newspapers had branded him "The Kung-Fu Killer". Outwardly, he has a very polite demeanour, but inside his mind is as dark, pitiless and logical as the slopes of hell. He is a risk to anyone that comes in contact with him, and has no real feelings.

Description: Johan is a very average looking person, with plain brown hair and white skin. His eyes, while a normal shade of grey, yields on closer inspection an insight into his pitiless personality.

Reason for being in the Asylum: He's a Scitsafrantic, he was admited after he had an episode at his Local KFC where he though he was Private Ryan and violently attacked one of the Cashiers thinking she was a Kraut Sniper he'd ambused.

Short History:
Edward Forge always wanted to be someone else, actually he didn't want too, he was infact someone else. Normally they were innocent or only annoying, rarely did his alter-ego's become violent, normally they only amounted to coping what he saw on Tv as a kid. As he got older it become a bit more serious, where he was going to job interviews thinking he was Bob Saget or writing Bugs Bunny on his checks. Even then it was rarely dangerous until he saw Saving Private Ryan one night, the next morning he attacked a chashier as KFC, almost killing her, luckily she's okay. But it was enough to bring him here, it was bound to happen. He knew it because he could hear the CIA talking about him and the conspircy to put him here, but only without his Tin Foil Cap, normally he'd go straight home and put his mattress against the window so they couldn't read his mind. He may seem totally bat shit insane but Edward can be a completely normal one minute, sometimes for hours or days then the next minute be storming the Beaches of Normandy or trying to sell you a ShamWoW.

Description:
Average looking, blue eyes and brown short hair like a Buzz-Cut, he was a bit tan, not overly, a touch of Asian in his genes, he was rather tall, not exactly a basket ball player though. He's pretty thin. If he didn't open his mouth he'd look normal, perhaps handsome.

Reason for being in the Asylum: Was admitted after performing a human sacrifice in the middle of town square, convinced the world was going to end unless the goddess was appeased.
Short History: Calamity was, at best, an 'abnormal' child. She never cried, instead observing all that went on around her in silence. Her parents, after years of this behaviour, treated their daughter with the cautious love that fear creates. When she was five years old, she woke screaming in her sleep, having never made a sound before that point. She cried and screamed for hours, then told her parents in perfect, fluid english that she was sorry, that the world was going to end, that she had to save them all. Then, producing a kitchen knife from beneath her pillow, she gutted her father, pursuing her screaming mother to the end of the hall where she recieved the same treatment. The bodies were found later that day, with no trace of the girl to be found.
She reappeared several years later in New York, where she would be seen dressed entirely in wispy black clothes, walking the streets and preaching about her 'goddess,' and armaggedon. Since then she has been charged several times with performing ritualistic ceremonies, until she was caught in the act and captured, to end up in Moon Ridge.
Description: From her long curls to her eyes to her attire, everything about Calamity is black. SHe has abnormally large eyes, wideset in her face, and claims they are entirely black due to the evil she has seen.
When dressed in the white hospital attire, Calamity became distressed and apparently suicidal, tearin at her skin and clothes with her nails, her own teeth until the staff allowed her back into simple black pants and a black singlet, showing the white marble of her skin, in great contrast with her clothes and hair. Her arms are covered in thick white scars, the remains of her rituals. She still wakes screaming , proclaiming the world will end. She believes she can communicate with the goddess, and that she can see the future in her dreams.

These are all fantastic! I'm so excited for the IC. Saken and I just need to get that part posted, then the roleplay can start.
