"Masquerade" (From Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera)

I'm looking to construct a murder-mystery that takes place at a masquerade ball (an elaborate costume party, if you will). I have a small cast of characters that you can either choose from or you can make up your own (if you do, either give a god description or at least one reference picture, I need to see what I'm dealing with). The storyline that I propose is that the masquerade is running very smoothly, with good company and beautiful music abound, when the lights flicker a bit--before going completely out. After a bit, they come back up--only to find that someone has been murdered. We don't know who did it, we don't know what their motives are--but we do know they are still at the scene. I propose posting character profiles here, if interested, and if you're interested in being the murderer, or a candidate for it, DO NOT POST IT HERE! Send it to me in a pm, email, or IM, as I want it to be a secret. Send me who you would have killed, be they man or woman, and what they were to you, why you killed them, and how you did it. I will flip through them and construct a final storyline and inform the chosen candidate that they are the murderer. It will be unknown to others, so if you get chosen, don't just blurt it out! Don't tell everyone--it's supposed to be a game of guessing.

I myself intend to play a male version of the Cheshire Cat, so please, no one asking to play another one... All others, including a female Cheshire Cat, are available. Or, you can choose your own and simply fill out a form and post it! Remember, send me a note with a back story if you want to be a candidate, otherwise you won't be considered!

Costume Name: The Red Death
Available Gender(s): Male, unless you really want to play a female...
Appearance: Dressed all in red from head to foot, with a skull-face mask. Possible has a long cape and/or skull-topped cane.

Appearance: In a dress with a skirt made of peacock feathers for the female, and in a regal sort of king-like appearance, with a cloak or cape of peacock feathers.

Appearance: Regally dressed, in beautiful, heavy clothes, with a gold, red, or similarly matching mask.

Available Gender(s): Male.
Appearance: Regally dressed, similar to the queen, with a white, blue, or similarly matching mask.

Costume Name: The Ballerina
Available Gender(s): Female, generally. Multiple ballerinas with different costumes will be accepted.
Appearance: In a tutu, pointe shoes, and tights, like a normal ballerina, but with a beautiful, elaborate mask.

Costume Name: The Kitten
Available Gender(s): Male or Female, multiple Kittens will be allowed...
Appearance: Cute and sweet, with cat-ears and a tail, this cute little prowler can be sweet and lovable or run around causing mischief.

Costume Name: The Devil (or Demon)
Available Gender(s): Male, generally...
Appearance: Handsomely dressed, with horns and bat-like wings (they don't have to be red...)

What you will need if you're going to be serious about posting, whether you want to be the murderer or not: Name, Age, Gender, a description of what the costume looks like, any props they may have, and a vague overview of them as a person. Whether or not you are claiming a costume slot, you MUST HAVE THESE THINGS! I will be posting my own in the morning, I am tired and need some sleep.

Personaly: Kiralean is an egotist through and through and treats everything with a buisness like composer. She does things for other that only may also benifit herself aswell. She loves her money and doesnt like to spend it often and when she does she goes for cheap. Kiralean isn't much for an emotional person as her twin brother is and she has a steel sharp tounge to match. Getting on her good side is hard but once that almost impossiable deed is done she won't be afriad to shove a boot in someones mouth for 'ya!

Personaly: Nic is a generally all around nice guy with some of the best manners to boot too! He enjoys a good laugh with anyone, he does not care who. Though Nic is not one to be quick in the fight like his sister is he would toss a few hits for a friends just as he would a stranger. Nic has a poor sense of time management which gets him in trouble sometimes but he does manage to smooth talk his way out, if its with a lady that is!
