I figured I wouldn't clutter the others with this, but a quote I saw the other day embodies my opinion.

Myspace has become an outlet for many bad things, apparently. I've held off on getting one, not because of the content, but because of the technology. I'd rather put stuff up on my private server, allowing me FULL control.

Anyways, the quote:

I'll be honest with you.

I hate myspace.

It's skanky and strange, and I'm sick of seeing chicks half naked.

And many people *cough*Bryanandreaaaron*cough* would say that I am "over reacting" or that I should simply "deal with it."

And to that I say...

Invest in your own server. (This includes free server space... to a degree.) If your argument is that your content is clean and mature, my argument is that if maturity is your goal, get your own space where you aren't limited by rules.

Server space is REALLY cheap these days, and a lot of free hosts support many scripting languages, like PHP. Let's clean up the net, one URL at a time?

MySpace is fucked up. It's become infested with emo/goth/punk-wannabe weirdos who can't help but post their "deep" poetry about cutting their wrists because no one understands them, except every other pre-teen drama queen with black fingernail polish and eye make-up.

Fuck MySpace and all of the emo on it. It makes me wish computer viruses were lethal to their owners.

Same goes for school.

MySpace just got lame, because, it was only cool for the first ten minutes in which I joined. =|

The point is that you should get a private space, for personal use only.

Hell. This site already has more functionality than MySpace, now that I've added attachments.

Yeah, I never even bothered joining My Space, or Face Book or any other thing like that........like stated above, too many weirdo goth emo type peoples that frankly, make me lose all faith in humanity. Could their lives really be so bad? Or are they just desperate for attention from people that live in the light and enjoy life?

Emo guys are hot...but their attitude bugs me and MySpace is a waste of net space. There is never any real point to personal sites like that, and I don't visit places with no real point. Like that piczo or whatever, they're just advertisements for yourself, and lets be honest no one cares.

Wow. Please do explain how you can degrade myspace when you say you never made an account or really attend it much? OMG. I only seen a few emo males on there. Seriously you guys. Besides, it's not you acting/dressing that way, so don't worry about it. :|

Oh, and yes, Master did exagerate a little, but that's only because he's promoting his thing-a-ma-bob.

I have/had Myspace but I don't use it anymore. I find it too difficult to express my feelings without sounding psychotic or depressing so I don't. I really don't have an opinion of it because I never went further than the few friends I had on it.

Yeah. Many of those type of sites suck. They ARe, in fact, cluttered with Emo folks. And lets face it, no one likes the Emo attitude. Whiney people that cry over nothing and seem to think the whole world is against them. You'd think if there were this many people with the world against 'em, they'd team up or something?
