Yasu sprinted over the roof tops of the village hidden in the leaves. Her dark clothes blending with her dark air, making a black mass soaring over the stone and metal clad roofs in her home village. The ninja girl had to get to the observation tower just out side the training area, her old sensei told her to meet at the top, the roof of the building to meet her new jonin instructor and the other member's of her team. Her old genin team, her old friends were killed in a mission, her old instructor dosen't have a squad this year. The only reason Yasu survived the mission was that she was very lucky.
The dark looking girl paused in her run over the roof tops, she didn't remember the mission well, her old instructor told her she had hit her head, and had filled her in on what had happened. She hadn't thought much of it, she missed her friends, and the pain of that realisation, that her friends were dead, was still fresh in her mind. She shook her head, trying to clear out the dark thoughts and kept running twards the tower. But the ninja couldn't clear that reoccurring thought that something else had happened. She couldn't shake the feeling she was missing something. The dark girl shook her head again and focused on the timing her foot falls, counting out how many of her loping goofy looking strides it would take her to reach the tower.
Anywhere is walking distance, if you’ve got the time.
“A friend is one who walks in when others walk out.” [Walter Winchell]
“Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.” [Leo Buscaglia]
