Sasuke: The shuriken were set off pre-mature. a kunai made connection with one of the shuriken, and the kunai was attached to a letter-bomb wich exploded on impact with the shuriken. and in result, the rest of them went off in the air around the series of naruto's and their creators. His form faded, only to appear about twenty feet away from the shuriken. in preparation, if any were to fall and connect with the earth. he would not be there, and would be at a safe distance.
