150 years ago a massive Ninja War destroyed the original five villages. The source of this war was the death of a single man, the Kazekage. When he died under suspicious circumstances, Sunagakure cried foul play, believing him to have been assassinated by Kirigakure, as the two were currently in conflict. Kirigakure denied all allegations, but when the assassin was caught by Sunagakure Hunter Ninja's, the truth came out. The assassin was a missing nin from Kumogakure, hired by Kirigakure to kill the Kazekage. So full out war broke out between Kirigakure, and Sunagakure. Kirigakure brought their ally village, Iwagakure, into the war, and Sunagakure drew their ally, Konohagakure in as well. Upon discovering that the assassin was a missing nin of their village, Kumogakure become embroiled in the conflict as well, fighting for neither side, as they were enraged at former ally Kirigakure for hiring one of their missing nin, and were against Sunagakure as well, both due to old conflicts, and the fact that both countries wanted to punish the assassin, for different reasons. The war raged on for so long that none of the countries even remembered why they were fighting, it all seemed so petty in the wake of all that had happened. So, to prevent such a war from ever happening again, a new village was formed, Kotonashigakure (The Village Hidden in Nothing). Every village in the world met, and signed a contract in blood, vowing, that to prevent such an occurence from ever happening again, each village would send its top ten Academy Graduates to Kotonashigakure each year, where they would be trained by the most elite shinobi in the world. Kotonashigakure was to act as a governing body, settling disputes between the villages, and stopping them before they got out of town. Their superior power would allow them to enforce their verdicts, and there would be peace throughout the land.

For 150 years the peace held. But now, great trouble is stirring within the land again, as a small, and relatively new village, Yamigakure (Village Hidden in the Darkness) has dark machinations in work. Their representative to the council has been planting the seeds of greed within the shinobi of Kotonashigakure, trying to corrupt them, and convince them that they should not merely hold the balance between the countries, but rule over them. That they should use their superior power to take over the world, instead of protect it. Which side will you fall on? Will you fall prey to your darker nature, and allow your lust for power to push you onto a darker path, or will you hold true to virtue, and try to uphold the balance that has allowed a greater peace and prosperity than the world has ever seen?





The Village Hidden with the Lions:
The Lion Village is well known for it's immensely hot and dry climates. It received its name from the lions that inhabit the region. A lot of Ninja in the village make use of the lions as familiars. Another thing the village is renowned for is its fire jutsus. Such jutsus include, but aren't limited to: Fire dragon jutsu, Fire fists jutsu, Fire wall jutsu, and Fire ball jutsus. Ninja from the Village Hidden with the Lions typically wear shaded goggles over their eyes as well as loose and cool clothing, due to the extreme heat of their home.

There are two Ninja Bloodlines with Kekkai Genkai amongst the village.

The first is the Sutachi-clan. The Sutachi have the ability to obtain chakra from fire, high heat, and the sun. Hitting any part of a Sutachi-clan heir's skin with fire, heat, or sunlight will fill their chakra levels within minutes. However a day or two without sunlight, high heat, or fire will cause their chakra to be completely drained and they would require twice amount of the time spent out of sunlight spent in sunlight to become full power again.

The second is the Tategishin-clan. The Tategishin bloodline has one of the legendary sensory Kekkai Genkai. They can "smell" your chakra vibrations in the air. Through these vibrations they can tell what kind of jutsu you are going to be doing. They can also "smell" through even the most powerful genjutsu. The Tategishin ability is much like the Sharingan, but requires more focus and chakra then the eye jutsu.


The village is know as the Village Hidden in the Stars. The main Village is located at the top of a high Plateau hidden from view below. This place allows them to have a uninterrupted view of the sky and the stars at night, hence the name. This Village is quite small as far as villages go, their number of SHinobi and Kunoichi are few, but strong. Because of this low number of combat ready Ninja, they keep the whereabouts of their village a secret, but that does not mean that they are not ready to deal with a threat if it comes. It would be some what difficult to ambush the village because of it's location and great view, on top of that, most of the Shinobi are Jonin class level.

The Village does accept missions from other nations, but their prices are quite high because the abscence of even one Shinobi or Kunoichi is felt in the village, so small is it's size. There is one more very important fact about the Village, the Shinobi of that Village have developed a style of combat that borrows from the twelve animals of the Chinese Zodiac. Each style has a specific advantage that it gives in combat, whether it be a actual style of combat and chakra manipulation, to a specific type of Genjutsu . Training for any of these styles is usually very intensive and even dangerous. There is a hierarchy to the twelve styles , meaning that some styles are stronger then others. For instance, The top three are the Dragon, The Tiger and then the Dog[wolf]. The Sutakage is usually a master of the Dragon, or Tiger.


-The Village Hidden In The Steel-
For years this settlement was terrorized by a horrific sea creature by the name of TokageKoutetsu (meaning steel lizard or lizard of steel.) The people of the small settlement would bring sacrifices to the bay of the lake as an offering of peace to the creature. Sacrificial ceremonies went on in this settlement and the more they did it, the more they became accustomed to those ways. A great warrior by the name of Togu, a member of the Shigizane lineage, a small child at the time knew what was happening and that it wasn't right. Togu's father Daigo, leader of the small force of shinobi in the settlement raised Togu to think that if this mayhem was to end, that Togu had to be the one that ended it. Years went by as Togu grew older and gained higher status amongst the shinobi of the village. By the time he was 10, Togu's father had trained Togu to the highest of standards. Upon Togu's 18 birthday, a document was signed stating that under the command of Daigo Shigizane, the force of water shinobi were to go to the bay at midnight when the creature rose, and defeat it. If the order was not carried our correctly, all under the rule and member of the Shigizane lineage were ordered to leave the village. Upon the order being carried out correctly, 4th Chair to the Shigizane bloodline, Daigo Shigizane would be promoted to ruler of that land and upon that build the settlement into a village. The battle went on longer than expected and in the aftermath a total of 5,780 ninja were defeated. Still, both Togu and Daigo endured the fierce battle and returned to the settlement alive. Daigo was promoted to MizuTenno (Heavenly Water Ruler) of that land. As stated the settlement went under major construction from damage of the battle and building the village. Trade for merchants and other sellers boomed as they sold the steel from the creatures tomb and body to other villages military and so on. Things were going great, Togu continued to train under the supervision of a master of water techniques until gaining the status of perfection, and then. .tragedy struck. Daigo Shigizane had died of injuries from the past battle with the creature. A ceremony was held and the ruler was buried beneath the village in a water vault of spiritual protection. Next in line as MizuTenno was Togu. This made Togu one of the youngest rulers in all lands at the time. Upon taking the throne, Togu decides to build up and army due to paranoia of attacks and other creatures or enemies. He opens up a grand dojo and begins teaching the children and dedicated men and women the jutsu of the Village Hidden In The Steel.


The Village Hidden by the Lightning
The Hidden Lightning village rests atop Mt. Rai, a mountain surrounded by a near perpetual lightning storm. It is a medium sized village founded long ago by Takeshi Ryuu, the first "Raikage" Takeshi was a outcast from one of the ancient villages for being a slacker, suposedly. Takeshi then vowed to prove them wrong by creating his own village. He climbed to the tap of Mt. Rai, then completely unihabited, and set up hsi village. Needless to say, not many people came there at first, but eventually the trickle of newcomers became a stream. Because of its location, the village was based around lightning and wind jutsu, but always lightning first. About ten people a year were kiilled by lightning originally, so that's why they always trained wsith lightning.

Now a days, it is a is the ninja village for one of the smaller countries, but that doesn't mean they're weak. They will also freelance and do work for other countries, so long as thei rown country is safe.

Kekkai Genkai-
Raiken- This is the name of the bloodline trait of the Kinomoto Family. It is the ability to "feel" electricity in the air or any other medium. This gives them an unpresidented level of control over lightning jutsu, making them able to use the most powerful lightning attacks ever thought of.

Fun'iki Koukai- This is the Kekkai Genkai of the Satoya Family. While it (supposedly) means "Aura Sight," is really more of the ability to sense your opponents (or anyones) wants or feelings, and also there actions. In a way, it gives you a window into the future of the target, telling you what they will do next. Therefore, most of the Satoya family are Taijutsu specialists, and are very well know for rarely losing in a one on one fight. The draw back is that most users can only sense one person at a time (although some truely gifted can sense two or even three), and that they have to have made eye contact with the person they are reading. When the power is activated, the users eyes change to have black irises and and a colored pupil. (the color depends on the strength of the user. The weakest will have brown, the midclass red, the higher ones have deep blue, and the very best have golden.)


Koudogakure no Sato ((Translated as Village Hidden in the Stones)) is located at the base of a tall mountain at the end of an expansive desert. The entrance to the village is hidden behind a maze of passages through cliffs that only those from the village know the correct way through. Anyone attempting to enter the village would have to be escorted by a Hidden Stone ninja to gain entrance. The Hidden Stone village was founded by a man named Ichiba Koudora, a descendant of the Koudora clan. The Koudora clan started off as a small village of ninja who were naturally in tune with the earth. They developed countless techniques to move the world around them, allowing them to build and advance fairly quickly. However the larger villages soon noticed the usefulness of their jutsu. Because of this the Koudora clan's village was pillaged and attacked time and time again in an attempt by other villages to learn their secrets. Because of this the villagers withdrew themselves from most of the world. They crossed the Great Desert. In their travels another clan joined their ranks. This was the Youchi clan. Together the two clans built a great village behind the barriers of the cliffs and with time the village grew, but because of their past the people of the village are highly suspicious of outsiders and only travel outside their village to trade. Even then they never drop their guard. Koudogakure is known for its unparalleled earth jutsu and taijutsu. ((I would name some, but Naruto never really showed that many earth type jutsus. I'm open for suggestions))

Kekei Genkai : There are two bloodlines in the Village Hidden in the Stones. One is the Koudora blood line and the other is the Youchi bloodline.

The Koudora clan uses the Earth Guardian Jutsu. This ability allows them to summon Golem's made from the earth itself to defend them. The strength of the golem depend on the level of the user. Genin can usually only summon small animal like golems like dogs or wolves. Jonin can summon large humanoid golems up to 15 feet in height.

The Youchi clan are the taijutsu masters of the village, known for their incredible speed and power. Their speed is accomplished by using their Kekei Genkai called Shukuchi or "Reduced Earth." The technique could also be considered a space/time jutsu as it potentially allows the user to shorten, or reduced the distance between himself and his destination, allowing the user to move at seemingly impossible speeds.

PERSONALITY: Rito is not a quiet person. He likes to speak his mind and say what he thinks. In that, he is very blunt. He is honest (mostly) to people he knows, and is usually kind to those he sees as friends. Enemies aren't as lucky. He will figth to the best of his abilities against anyone, as it takes him a real effort to hold back. He can come across as over-confident in his fighting ability, which he is, a buit, but usually he can recognize when he is outclassed. That doesn't mean he'll run, though. Even if he's outclassed, he'll still try and fight, usually. The only exceptions are when his squad is in danger or it interferes with the mission. However, none of his fights so far have had his life on the line, so who knows how he'll fair in those.
Fears: His father. His father raised him as "The Hope of the Satoya Clan," to which Rito always tried to reach. Nothing he did ever satisfied his father, and some of the harsh training methods left mental scars on Rito. He hasn't trusted his father since he was six and sent to train by standing on a large, flat plateau on the side of Mt. Rai with a super strong thunderstorm overhead.

Bio: Rito's life has never been easy. Marketed from a young age as the "Hope of the Satoya Clan," his father was disgusted to learn that his power in the Kekkei Genkai had nothing to do with his talent with it. Rito often was unable to call forth his power, and was set progressively harder tasks to try to unlock his power. They didn't work, and Rito's father, the Satoya head, could no longer bear the site of him. Rito was in the top ten percent of the Academy's genin, not all due his skill, and was sent to the Unhidden Village. Rito knew full well that his father had worked to ensure he was in the top ten, just to get him out of the family. His goal now is to train hard and become a strong ninja to prove to his father that he is not the "Golden-Eyed Failure" that he has been called.

Kekkei Genkai: Earth Guardian Jutsu. This unique jutsu allows the user to summon a companion from the earth itself to fight by his/her side. Those who are skilled can summon more than one. The number is determined by skill and chakra. At his present stage in training Yuuichi is only able to summon something as large as a big dog or several smaller golems such as cats. The jutsu works by tapping into the ninja's natural ability to intune himself with the earth. When the correct symbols are made his chakra flows from the ninja and into the ground where it shapes the earth into a usable form. The user may manipulate this form through changing the flow of his chakra inside the golem.
Strengths: The golem is incredibly dense and is hard to destroy without an intense hit or strong wind or water jutsus. The golem is able to withstand most fire jutsu as it would take incredible amounts of heat to melt.
Weaknesses: The user must be in contact with the ground to be able to use the jutsu, as his chakra has to have someway to enter the earth. Also the golem(s) are susceptible to wind and water jutsu, causing the golem to either be broken down by errosion or washed away as mud.

Strengths: Yuuichi has a fairly large amount of chakra and is skilled in Taijutsu. He's able to think well on his feat and is a great strategist. Yuuichi is able to use both wind and earth style jutsu, though he's more skilled with earth.
Weaknesses: No matter how much he trains, Yuuichi seems incapable of grasping Genjutsu. He's studied for many hours a day for months, but still has never successfully performed a genjutsu. Yuuichi is also rather fragile bodied, thus most of his taijutsu focuses on speed and technique rather than strength.

Kekkei Genkai: Tenma Supuraisu/Demon Splicing – Though the Kekkei Genkai of the Enma clan is mostly useless in combat on its own, its applications are infinitely better. The properties of this Kekkei Genkai enable the user to integrate the pieces of another’s body into their own with no ill effects. With this comes part of the knowledge of the possessor, allowing the Demon Splicing user to replace his or her own organs with that of a recently dead individual, though a medic-nin is still needed for successful transfer. Due to this, others often regard most Demon Splicing possessors as gifted towards ninjutsu since even skin grafted to their own body grants knowledge of and, somewhat rarely, use of certain ninjutsu the original organ’s owner possessed. They can also be called masochists, too, since damage is irrelevant so long as they live and the corpse’s organs are still viable. It allows the user to also channel the chakra natures of their victims. The most devious application of integrating another’s organs is if that other possessed a doujutsu. The user could sacrifice his or her own eyes for the corpse’s eyes, achieving usage of the doujutsu of the previous owner. This does not grant them mastery over this doujutsu, but it does grant the knowledge to eventually master it through training. The process to implant a doujutsu requires at least two days of rest, with the process being grueling and painful.

The sign of a possessor of the Demon Splicing kekkei genkai is a blood-red manji upon the flesh over the knot of bone where neck and shoulder meet. A side effect of the kekkei genkai is that his blood and any blood transfused into him turns bright, almost luminescent blue, another sign of the Demon Splicing kekkei genkai. Due to the integration nature of the Demon Splicing, using poison against a possessor is useless. It would merely incorporate the poison into the body and allow the user immunity. This does not mean he or she is immune to all poisons at all times. There is a five-day limit in which he or she still possesses the original immunity and other poisons take full effect so long as the ingredients for each are not shared by the first poison. The doujutsu also have restrictions, too. If one is taken, either one or both eyes must be taken, but only one doujutsu can be in the body at once. Trying to implant two eyes with different doujutsu is not only dangerous but also fatal. Masters of the kekkei genkai are also not limited to their own limbs. They can essentially become monsters, implanting new limbs around their torso, though it takes a bit of time for the new joint to become fully functional.

One of the drawbacks of the adaptability of the Tenma Supuraisu Kekkei Genkai is that the user has a possibility of going insane with each new jutsu learned through transplantation within a few months. The learning must never exceed ten jutsu in a month, lest their mind break. There is also a chance that a shinobi with this Kekkei Genkai will merely burn out and die if they acquire too many jutsu over a lifetime. This is why many of the wielders of this Kekkei Genkai before the clan’s downfall tended to find new ways to augment existing jutsu with their newfound knowledge instead of taking this knowledge to learn a new jutsu entirely.

Appearance: At a nude level, Junnou is a rather remarkable young man. He has massive scarring near his liver area and left kidney, for his liver and kidney are not originally his own. He has less extensive scarring all along his torso, even on his legs, his arms, as well. His left hand is also two-tone. The last two fingers and half of his palm are from a dark-skinned shinobi, for he lost that much of his hand in a fight with that same shinobi.

The next layer up consists of a pair of black combat pants and ankle wrappings, for he wears no sandals. He also wears a black shirt, the neck and short sleeves of which consist of fishnet material. Along his arms he wears black bandages from just beneath the fishnet material all the way down to just before his fingertips. The next layer up, he wears a maroon coat with a black flame pattern around the bottom and at the shoulders since it is sleeveless, but only on his own time. It possesses a high collar and a large hood to hide his head.

He also wears a white sash that wraps over his body from right shoulder to left hip, then around his waist beneath the coat. When he must be a bit more discrete, he wears a long black cloak similar to the ANBU cloak. He is quite thin and androgynous. He also wears a stolen Konoha forehead protector, though it is hidden beneath his white and black ANBU mask. The black design upon the white mask is a stylized, flaming skull face.

Basic Personality: Masochistic, driven, and prone to taking revenge on those who wronged him, Junnou is a brutal shinobi when he has to be. Brutal in the sense that he will kill, not brutal in the sense that his fighting style is overtly aimed at injuring the body outwardly. His fighting style consists of his own adapted brand of Juuken copied from the memory of the Hyuuga whose eyes he possesses. His masochism does not come in the sense that he gets his jollies off on pain. Junnou is a masochist in the sense that, if it achieves his goal, he will hurt himself. He can do such because of his kekkei genkai and because his companion/partner/mother is a medic-nin and can help with the splicing. Due to his training with Enma after being abandoned as a child by his father and her husband, he has developed dual personalities. One personality is the somewhat sweet yet blunt main personality unashamed with himself. The second is more demonic, driven to kill and ruthless in its mission, that being the personality used for missions and fights.

History: The Enma clan existed in Kirigakure for many years, but was largely overlooked for other, more battle-oriented clans until the truth of their Kekkei Genkai came to light. Because they could be repaired with the corpses of their enemies and even benefit from it, the Enma clan became one of the foremost clans of war. Battle after battle cut down the numbers of Enma clan members, for even if they could benefit from being so damaged, not all of them survived their encounters. When all was said and done after the pointless battles, the Enma clan was reputed to have suffered so many losses it may never recover.

Because of these factors, Junnou’s father, one of the last masters of the Enma Kekkei Genkai, disappeared without a trace, leaving a pregnant Enma Sasori alone to raise their child. Because Mama Enma, too, was a master, she was able to heal herself since she was also a medic-nin. She stayed in Kirigakure for the time being, only to birth her child and raise him to an age where he could fend for himself.

Junnou never formally entered a ninja academy, instead being home schooled, so to speak. Enma Sasori taught young Junnou herself, though she quickly found that his chakra natures did not match her own, which consisted of lightning and earth. Instead, Junnou possessed his father’s natures, water and fire. Her teachings were brutal, but it only served to teach Junnou faster, even if he wound up injured and sore at the end of the day. At the age of 12, Enma Sasori packed her bags, and her son’s, and left Kirigakure.

His training continued even on the run, finding it easier to fight with foreign shinobi when allowed to by his mother. The six-limbed female didn’t often put her son in danger, for she realized he was like a glass cannon; he packed a lot of power, yet he was not as durable as she. One particular fight deprived Junnou of a kidney and liver, having them replaced with those of the Suiton user who had damaged him after having his head wrenched off by Junnou’s mother.

Up until his sixteenth year, Junnou’s life was mostly victory after victory aside from having to replace half of his left hand because of a Katon user. It was just after his seventeenth birthday, on a “mission” near, but not inside, Konohagakure, that the most significant of Junnou’s injuries occurred. Encountering a Main Branch Hyuuga was both fortuitous and disastrous in nature. Though Junnou proved to be able to keep up with the Juuken user, he had not anticipated a short sword coming into play.

The tone of the match went from even to horrible in mere moments as Junnou jerked away from the blade intent on skewering his head, but it did not totally miss him. Instead, it impaled him through the eyesockets, leaving a scar across the front of his face that he still possesses. It also blinded him as soon as it hit. Had it not been for Mama Enma’s timely intervention, his life would have ended there. As it were, Enma Sasori jabbed her bladed tail through the back of the Juuken user’s neck, ripping open the front of his throat, esophagus and all, whilst he was distracted. Because Junnou had effectively drained his chakra through repeated dodges of his strikes, he had deactivated his Byakugan until it was too late. Though he had seen the attack, he was much too late to counter or stop it.

To replace his damaged eyes, Sasori quickly lay Junnou down, pulling out the Hyuuga’s eyes and implanting them in Junnou’s head. Because of the doujutsu the eyes contained, the normally instantaneous convalescence became a grueling two-day process. The pain of the adaptation was unexpected, for Enma Sasori had never tried to use a doujutsu-bearing eye before, yet the boons when he recovered were phenomenal. Not only did Junnou now possess Byakugan eyes that he could activate and deactivate at will, though they only functioned to let him see the tenketsu and not all around him, but he also possessed a rudimentary knowledge of Juuken.

To keep his acquisition secret, Enma Sasori burnt the body of the Hyuuga to ash, though he would eventually be missed. Junnou was kept out of the line of fire for weeks afterwards, allowing him time to recuperate, as well as to train his novice Jyuuken and his attempt at using the Hakke Rokujuuyon Shou against his mother. Because of her amazing chakra capacity due to her constant implantation of organs, she was able to forcefully pop her tenketsu points open again each time he closed them, letting him train for hours a day before she was forced to stop.

Despite never formally attending an academy, Enma Sasori estimates her son’s ability at that of a chuunin, her own being jounin rank. To keep their secret for now, Sasori plays the part of a sickly mother, hiding beneath a robe and hunching her back, keeping her fleshy, bladed tail of skin hidden. Junnou, on the other hand, wears a stolen Konoha headband around his neck, his ANBU mask hiding his face…at least until he smokes. Enma Sasori and Junnou both serve the highest bidder, playing mercenary, but they are not truly antagonistic to anyone.

This allows the user a sort of 360 view of the battlefield, as they can tell exactly where opponents are through the disturbance they cause in the air, as they can for weapons, and jutsus, as well. The range they can "see the wind" for is dependent on the skill of the user. There is another aspect of the Kekkei Genkai as well, it gives them the ability to infuse the very wind around them with their chakra, allowing them to manipulate it as they would their own chakra.

Since no one else seems to be doing moderation for this at this point, I'll give my thoughts on characters, with approvals, and denials that need to be made for plot purposes.

Chari: You can't already have the strongest manifestation of your Kekkei Genkai, so unless the color merely represents their potential, you'll have to edit that. Otherwise, I'd say accepted.

Kaida: You're Kekkei Genkai seems both generic and overpowered. I don't think we are allowing tailed beasts and their hosts, so we wouldn't be allowing god and their hosts either, even if that fit within the Naruto universe, which it doesn't. Also, you can't start as a jonin, everyone has to start off weak, unless mods give approval otherwise. Change your character please.

Vain:
Koudara - You can't have your golems give your chakra back when destroyed, then your main jutsu requires no chakra. Other than that, seems fine to me.
Kanna - Must start as a genin, and Shukuchi could very easily lead to godmodding, so use it fairly.

Ceur: Unchecked, your kekkei genkai is in and of itself a godmod, as it gives anyone with it virtually limitless chakra. To prevent this, I would say add that they have to meditate to gain the chakra, so they don't just passvely and constantly gain it, and say that whenever they are not in sunlight, their chakra store slowly runs out.

Wizard: I don't know what to say, you're kekkei genkai is a complete godmod, and I don't know how to change that. If you want a non-Hyuuga Hyuuga, I'd say just have their eyes have been replaced, it happens several times in the manga, Kakashi is an example of it, and it doesn't require a kekkei genkai to be able to use the eyes. Also, you need to be a genin going to Kotonashigakure, a missing nin is not going to fit into the story.

Well, Texas, looks like you're the only one who liked Junnou. I've not got it in me to make another that detailed, so I guess this is sayonara. And this after I'd toned down the Enma Kekkei Genkai from its original form. It was nice to think of maybe using Junnou while it lasted. At least someone did get a kick out of reading his bio and such. Maybe I'll find somewhere that little Jun fits with his mother sometime later. Have fun, dude. I'll keep an eye on how things turn out.

TOOLS/ABILITIES
Kekkai Genkai: Simply known as "Fade Out" or "The Curse of Crimson" it is a version of berserker-like ability. It uses pain and the damage applied to its user to fuel its will to fight by causing hallucinations that help inspire them, as the key of the curse seems to be emotions. By improving this inspiration, it coverts the wounds and feelings into "Chakra" of sorts, fueling the bodies will to engage in combat. As such, the more damage one takes, the stronger they become. The cons of this is that in order to unlock this potential, one must suffer wounds and other forms of damage. As such, the body is forced to fight itself, both internally and externally, beyond its normal means, causing it to bleed, slowly breaking it apart in order to strenthen it. As such, even walking and basic movements are painful, even while out of this state. It is not uncommon to see ones with this blood-line to cough up blood as their body resists itself on a day to day basis.

Hallucinations while not in combat are common,and perhaps the victim is tortured enough to see these illusions, whether they wish it or not. Some members lose their minds, others wished they would. Also, due to the fact their chakra flow is often disoriented, they cannot use jutsu without extreme training. As such, they are limited to physical combat mostly, and have little or no tactical flexibility.

A major bonus is the recovery rate of a injured member of this bloodline. The body must be in relatively good condition for it to abuse itself again. Instead of taking weeks to recover from injuries, they may recover in days (if properly applied with medicine and getting good rest) Most noticably, open wounds clot much faster than most people, and the skin heals quicker. Broken bones mend much faster as well, but all depending on how healthy the victim is. For example, if you don't eat, it slows.. It requires large amounts of energy to form this healing process, else the ability lapses into its usual anti-helpful nature, which means that if you aren't properly taking care of yourself, it'll kill you faster instead.

Alliance:None really, as she is just a student and is more focused on just trying to make it day to day without people making fun of her or beating her up.

Jutsus: None, due to the fact that her body fights against itself. However, the woman has developed two talents, to further help her abilities and make up for these losses.

Tools: Shurikens of a larger variety made with relatively defective metal, a odd armoured gauntlet that goes up to her shoulder on her left side that would seem to hardly protect her from anything due to its low quality and cheap metal disposable metal, and a long blade one or two handed sword, which is unique to her as most genin do not take up longer blades However, the blade is made of a light useless material, probably similar to aluminium. Its handle is made of simple wood and it has a copper cross guard. This is all due to the fact that the poverty stricken girl cannot afford much.

Talent 1: Satori has been a unique form of martial art, which she has titled "The Way of the Dying Flowers". Its main focus is unique because unlike most other styles, it makes rooms for receiving injuries. The style allows Satori to round off blows by shifting herself, intentionally or rounding the blow choosing to be hit to gain a advantage over her now open opponent. This gives her a huge edge over most fighters, as her physical body is much more robust than many, allowing her curse to give her a huge upper hand.

While she has yet to fully understand her curse, (infact, she knows not much about it, but simply knows of its existence and use), she uses her technique in two key ways. The first is designed for weapon and hand to hand combat, particularly dealing with strikes. It is the first step in her movement, letting your opponent strike you and move in to gain a much more powerful blow. With weapons, this can be fatal for her opponent, who may be strong but lack the endurance and pain resistance the woman has. Even though she received a injury, her technique focus’s on making it minor. This key way, however, also deals with other movements, such as parrying, dodging, and counter attacking.

The second “Way” is the movements that take place when up close near a opponent, particularly in its opened state. Most noticeably, the technique deals with grappling the opponent, then striking at very specific points on the body. With a weapon, it is clear the intention is not to cut at, but rather to cut off, aiming for whole joints to completely sever a opponent, particularly the throat though. Ironically, because the sword she is using currently is one or two handed, it is very easy for her to strike and grab at the same time, using leg work to stop her opponent from fleeing away from her strikes. The next part applies to hand to hand combat, mostly in situations where she is unarmed. Her grapples then switch to aim to break opponents limbs and strike at the throat, aiming to completely crush it.

This violent style makes Satori a oddly skilled opponent, but she cannot use it in training practices ect. Thus she is considered weak by many, as she never uses it against them. No one even knows that she is secretly working on this style, perfecting it, mastering it, all while getting abused and beaten by others. This clever tactic of hiding her true strength, as well as learning things from others by their abuses, shows intelligence normally unexpected of the young teenager.

It is also limited due to the fact it is still a work in progress, and that the young girl fears its use, her relatively innocent mind coming up with murderous techniques not considered fair play or useful to help others. It is only murderous and can only achieve violence.

Talent 2: If you look upon Satori’s body, one would recognize that it is constantly damaged ect. Satori knows simple and basic medical treatments, such as dexterity with bandages, the knowledge of making useful splints, and some basic surgery. This first aid capability is relatively pathetic compared to anything a medical ninja might know, but it is useful enough to allow her to become in a stable condition after a particularly bad beating.

Talent 3: Satori seems to have a knack for keeping weapons and equipment in high quality, sharpening them skillfully polishing handle and blade alike. This knack for being able to take good care of things make the few items she has last longer, and stay in the highest possible condition. Even experienced ninjas often neglect equipment, and thus, the teenager tries to take advantage of that.

PHYSICAL INFORMATION
Appearance: Dressed mostly in flowing robes of black (depending on the mood), she mostly hides within the folds of them, trying not to be noticed by others. She never carries weapons on her, as she is always reluctant to fight. Howeve, its condition is waning, and it seems tattered, like something a peseasant beggar would wear. One can see the tattoos that line her body from underneath, and her eyes are most obvious, the shining mirrior like surfaces revealing only what she sees.

Hair: Yellow Blond and cut fairly short (shoulder length) she tends to wear a tattered dirtied red silk ribbon in it, a item she seems to be willing to fight to the death over, as its her only family heirloom. The hair itself is unhealthy looking, mainly due to the fact that the girl cannot bath as ofthen as she would like, and is often at mercy to the elements. She has to clean herself up in rivers ect.

Eyes: A very glossy green, and considered almost frightening by many. Most people who fight with her strike her face, as they don't like her eyes. They tend to shine so brightly that the person can see themselves.. which makes them often see what they look like in the middle of fight, with angry expressions and hateful movements. Outside of combat, they are often unerving.

Skin Tone: Tanned, but leaning more on a pale end.

Scars/Tattoos: Satori is mostly known for her body being fully tatooed in black stripes. Her face looks other-worldly with the shining eyes and blacked lines, making her freakish looking, if beautiful. These run down her entire body, and show on her hands. Even the young womanly breasts have them, and its clear the desiegn of them is to allow it to stretch with the growth, becoming thiner and more "Tight" looking.

Height:Relatively tall for a girl of 16 she is almost 6ft 5 inches, almost freakishly tall already and in the middle of a growth spurt. Her size is anouther reason for her being teased.

Weight: Lanky, without a good womanly figure, she is about 175 pounds, which isn't too heavy considering her size.

Strengths: Highly Roburst physically, strong willed and high pain tolerance, with considerably good reaction time, relatively high skill in most melee techniques and altheletics, such as running, swimming, acrobatics, and is quite intelligent.

Weaknesses: Social Outcast, afraid of confrontation, cannot use even basic justsu, has almost no freinds, suffers from physical and mental pain often, cannot afford much, lacks guidence in her bloodline (as there are no known surviving members), lacks parental guidence.

Dislikes: Cruelty, loud noises, people in crowds, and most of all, herself.

Bio: said that they came from across oceans… beautiful azure pools of water from a foreign land of ice and fire, a mixed paradise whose beauty was absolute. Why did they leave? Why, if anyone remembered, perhaps they would realize it was foolish, or perhaps it was the greatest choice of all.

Yet nothing was worse than the loss of life to follow these outsiders. Their history is that of rejection, of pain, of complete and utter oblivion. It seemed that these people, proud and strong, giants among men, were destined only to feel the wind on their backs, and the hatred of others at their fronts. No matter what though, they remained proud, even when their heavy feet first touched the shores.

In these new lands, quite unlike their own and filled with the cruel taint of war, though ancient, they were strangers with strange cultures. Their faces tattooed wildly like the great beasts they worshipped, their bodies weathered powerfully from years at sea. Their belief in a mother goddess, kind in nature even in her cruelest moments, everything about them seemed different, alien.

They made many great promises, in the form of ink and blood upon paper. A honorable people, once their word was given, they would honor it with every bit of strength within them. The papers required them to be warriors, when they were but travelers without a home.

Their warriors, limited down to one great family line. Huge creatures, seemingly immortal in appearance and encased in heavy armors that covered their bodies head to toe. In a land torn by war, it would seem as if the beasts they worshipped, creatures of black and orange or white and black stripes, had grown old, missing many of their teeth, but each a large fang. Perhaps only three were left now, the mother, the father, and the daughter, who was merely a cub in their goddess’s feline eyes. They were larger than their fellows, like a patch of tall grass in a plain.

The father would tell the daughter of courage, the mother would tell the daughter of compassion, two equally important roles that the daughter must fill. She listened, absorbed, became one what was to be her role. Story after story inspired the young one, and she drank the tales as if they were milk.

They had found a name now, calling themselves “The Village Amongst the Petals” , for they cultivated many beautiful things on their ships, which is where they stayed because they had no home upon the strange shores. Flowers of many hues greeted each sunrise and sun set… they were a peaceful people, and enjoyed the bounties of the sea.

For awhile, life for them was prosperous. The sea had taken many children when they left their homes, but now the little ones, though very young, sprawled out on the decks to play games and cause mischief all in the nature of fun and love. They were a close people, linking together their ships to share what little they had with one another.

Story and song were their late night entertainments. Large fires could be held aboard the ships, yet they did not burn. Around them the sound of laughter could always be heard, and no matter how bad the day was, they appreciated life. It was true happiness.

Like the flowers they grew though, they knew that all things must come to pass. It did of course, and they were not licked by the flames of war, but rather burned inside with fever. Who knows how many died at first? Hundreds? Thousands? The bodies piled so high, that it was said to block out the sun.

No more sweet smells, only ones of sadness and death. The literal smell of ones friends rotting before one could reach them to be disposed of in a healing fire... yet still the plague did not die, and stuck with a even greater vengeance. Many of their people though brave and resilient, soon gave into despair.

Their warriors, still only two and a child, were immune to this horrifying event, though never the emotional scars that they carried with them. Their curse, a horrifying pain that haunted them, had protected them from being captured upon the plagues claws. They traveled to other lands, pleading for aid, and after many days, was given supplies… enough said to save their own people.

On their journey back, filled with hope that they could slay this malady, and perform their ancient role as guardians, did the winds change… so violently and unexpected that their small vessel crashed upon the waves. The daughter, so young, did everything a child could to help, but all for naught when waves crashed… and she fell overboard.

Upon breaking the surface of the darkened waters, she could see neither boat nor land. However, she was brave, endless tales and warnings of what to do when lost in the storm filled her mind, and she waited out the storm as much as possible, barely surviving as it passed.. When the water cleared nothing moved, and the ocean became still.

The child could see land now, and slowly, as if moving through a haze, began her way to reach the golden shores. It was like a journey of her entire people, reaching for something that seemed so far away… and yet when she touched the grounds, she could not bring herself to do any more than collapse.

Warmth… From bedside and flame. It was the last thing she expected. Many voices around her now, ones that she could not fully make out. She would feel that way for the rest of her young life.

She had been saved, brought to a village unknown to her. However, dislike for her, a feeling unknown to the child, was evident. What had she ever done wrong to others here? Was it because she didn’t keep the boat stable? She knew she had acted cowardly then, becoming afraid of the lightning as she slipped, the waves crashing into her. It was her fault... Had she held on tighter…?

She would cry tears of her own mistake, but within time grew to realize that it was not hers, yet even so she could not help but to despise herself. Everything she was. The village around her called her a stray and hardly noticed her. The child lived amongst the streets, and even was beaten from time to time.

She was a outsider, foreigner, or to many village children, “Freak”. Her eyes colored different than theirs, her body, though feminine and beautiful, was taller than theirs. Her skin, tattooed from birth and its design allow it to grow upon her body. Her blond hair constantly matted and ugly, and her screams. The screams of pain that overtook her… the body hurt so much, all the time. It was never this bad when she had someone to comfort her, yet the others looked at the child as if she was herself, disease ridden.

Unlike others who would grow steely, she remained soft. Why she could not tell, but she was unable to strike back at others, even as she aged that is, until she joined the villages small academy. They trained in the art of war, though much different than her own peoples. It was here that her potential of combat put fear into the instructor.

The child had a body built like some great warrior already, her girlish body already looked like a young adult, her arms and legs were longer. She would grow into a powerful body quickly, and even more than that. Had she been able to use most of the ninja techniques, the instructor would have refused to taken her on.

For years she trained in a manner that dedicated her abilities far. It was the only way she could remember the tales she had been told, or understand why she was constantly hallucinating, a side effect of her curse… It was her only comfort.

Despite being the villages hated eye sore, she had become their top genin, a trainee in their style of war. It was here that they pushed her away, to join another village…

The Sutachi-clan has the Kisaihada, which is the ability to obtain chakra from fire, high heat, and the sun. Hitting any part of a Sutachi-clan heir's(Shinori's) skin with fire, heat, or sunlight will fill their chakra levels within minutes while in Kisaihada meditation, Which is a intense uninterrupted meditation, This Kisaihada meditation is the only time they can receive chakra from those sources. Also any length of time without any form of sunlight, high heat, or fire will cause their chakra to slowly drain and they will require twice amount of the time spent out of sunlight spent in Kisaihada meditation to become full power again.

I have only one problem, you character seams geared toward taijutsu and hand to hand fighting, yet she fears hurting people? It seams a little backwards in my oppinion, but otherwise the character is fine if played right.

In my opinion when you say there should be no more Kekkai Genkai because it is too overpowering that you mean the current user of Kekkai Genkai is now overpowering those without Kekkai Genkai so your reason seem very unfair, just my opinion correct me if I am wrong.

Alright, I'll change the golem thing. As for Kanna being a chunin, I made that because she's his body guard. So she's a higher level student. It wouldn't make sense for a genin to be protecting a genin would it?

@Pride- I feel that everyone doesn't need a Kekkai Genkai. My character will not be having and for those that will, don't need to make it into a godmod.
@Vain- The change to the golem thing should make your character A+. Kanna is fine if her role is being your character's bodyguard.
@Tigress- The whole Kekkai Genkai is rather creative, but just as Ceur' said it does seem a little backwards.

Gabe, it represents potential, not ability. A low class can't get golden eyes no matter how hard he tries. The color is mearly an indicator of how much of the Kekkei Genkai they inharited

Haha, I make my characters extremely complex. She doesn't like bringing pain to others because she lives in agony and constant pain. This is a example of why she is also a medicore ninja , because she lacks to the will to fight others. However, this may change throughout the story, as she may learn to be less afraid of such things. The more realistic side is that almost no child would enjoy killing people, beating them up, or being trained to kill with machine like production. I'll also be introducing scenes that describe her hatred of herself in detail, for example she cannot control her strength at times and breaks stuff (imagine breaking a glass into your hand) which gives her a greater dislike of pain and violence. A odd trait is that later I might have her learn medical techniques, (which can still be easily re-used in taijutsu and other forms of melee combat, thus not actually hurting my characters growth at all) as a way of giving back.

The Genkai is designed to be less beneficial than others, as it has some severe side effects, hence its known as a curse. I wanted it to be guared to limit my char and add to her complexity. It is powerful, yes, but unlike almost everyone elses Genkai, it has tons of negative effects, which my character cannot afford the medicine to make it easier to bare ect. Genkai should have drastic side effects, to balance out the abilities of it. For example, my character cannot use jutsu, at all and suffers from hallucinations, which while pleasant, can drastically ruin her day to day life.

Characters without Genkai could often win in the naruto universe, but I think by exchange the fact that they should have no negative stuff, thus not very many weaknesses. This gives them a more well rounded talent, rather than single minded technique. A character with fewer strengths but less weakness's if I may. Plus, their skill should be higher to adapt as well, as they do not spend time unlocking their abilities. A example is perhaps they have a higher mastery of jutsu of opposing branches, such as the ability to use fire and water at relative ease. They arnen't as strong as the ones with the fire genkai, but you are more tatically flexible and your skill is still relatively high.
