Jode watched Amy bounding around. He had initally felt excited too, but now he wondered who was going to help them. Would anyone ever find them or would they be lost here until they were old and grey?

Never mind. For now, his mind was all on the exploration. It would be fun.

"We going then?" he called out.

((Woot, hot topic! Allow me to virtually high five each and everyone of you! And Oh my gosh! You Flick haters!!! He's not supposed to be hateable, geesh! Okay, moving on.... lol!))

When Jode had asked him of his 'sword', Flick grinned brightly before sawing away at the rope. "Hey, I want to come 'long!" Flick exclaimed, his eyes dancing with joy, ready for more excitement. When he cut the rope all the way through, he toughed on it as he listened to everyone's conversation, trying to make everything logical and then illogical again. "Actually, I think we should all go! Split up, maybe," he hollered back loud enough for the others conversing to hear him from the bow.

"You know, that might not be such a bad idea," Ivy said, her eye-brows scrunched in concentration. "We could have one or two small groups split up and explore, look for food," In the background Flick could be heard echoing Ivy's exact words. "And some of us to set up camp." A satisfied smile came to her face before she looked back at everyone to see what they thought of the idea. "Besides, the boat is too small for any sort of living quarters."

Annie felt a bit of fury build in her. "No you are not coming, we need you to stay ashore," she said to the girl who had pouted and then giggled. She definately would not be any help on shore. "No Flick!" she said darkly. "This island might be dangerous, we can not split up or go off on our own. I'm only taking this small handful with me, no one else goes." Her tone left no room to question. She now was grateful to her father, for she had picked up most of his leadership traits. "The ship will be living quarters long enough. If anyone tries to do anything stupid, they will be tied up and locked behind a door. Understand?" she barked harshly, not in the mood for most everyones attitudes. They just didn't get the danger they were in.

((She doesn't hate Flick, she's just annoyed, lol, you can't HATE someone like Flick.))

"Hey! Drop it will you!? They're just little kids, of course they don't get it!" Lori said angrily at the bossy girl, surprised at herself for defending the brats. "Who said you were in charge any way?" She added, looking to David to back her up. He just shrugged at her and gave her a meaningful look that said 'relax, Rett'.

Jode decided to remain neutral. It seemed like a good idea. "Can we just go?" he said. "I want to look at this place before nightfall. And Flick should come if he wants to," he added, but didn't argue further. Instead, he clambered down from the boat and was the first to touch the shore.

Annie rounded on the girl. "Maybe because no one else volunteered to make sure we didn't crash, or the fact that no one else has said there bid. I know survival skills, I know what to do, you're more then welcome to go off and get yourself killed. I know they're little kids, that is exactly why we need someone in charge. They'd die out there! If we don't rally together and work out a system or anything we will all DIE!!" she emphasized. "But be my guest, I doubt you know which plants could be safe to eat, or what locations to choose that would be great shelter from more then one advisary. Anyone who wants to live is more then welcome to come with me," she glared before throwing a rope over board so she could get off the boat.

"Hey, who put you in charge?" Amy growled, feeling her temper rise.
"It's our right, and you can't stop us. You know, screw you, bitch! I'm going, and you can't stop me!" She cried, taking her hand back and turning away, starting to run.

Being athletic, she was very speedy, and her short and light frame made it easier for her. Grabbing the rail, she launched herself over it, and crouched as she landed heavily in the sand.

Wincing, she took a few seconds to let the pain in her ankles ease, and then took off again, hair blowing in the air. Because she was still near the sea, it was salty, but she quickly found a small forested bit, and took off into the trees. She was going to explore this place. And if she died, the others wouldn't be long following in a desolate place like this.

From his place on the sand, Jode watched Amy run off. He had suddenly decided to be loyal to Annie, which might not make him the most popular, but would certainly put him in a protected position when it came to her shouting at people. He waited for her to come down.

Meanwhile, Maria was freaking out in the cabin. Everything was wrong, nothing was right. Terrible images flooded her brain as her OCD kicked in and she started scraping at her hands, picking at her skin because it was so unclean, so unclean...

Annie rolled her eyes at Amy. She'd only get herself killed. She climbed down the side of the ship using the rope and dusted herself off. She looked at Jode for a moment. "So, you in?" she asked him, he seemed like a smart kid, and would definately be great help in keeping everyone alive. "Anyone else?" she hollered up, her temper was starting to recede as her instincts started to kick in. Her only priority was to find a place where they'd be safe. Then find food and water, and then transfer the rest of the kids.

((That was kind of how I was trying to make him, lol! So good! hehe))

A small handful, Flick thought to himself, resting his weight on the rope in his hands. He had picked out these words and disected them as if she had meant to say they were only her playing pieces for her own survival. "Forward two and three right," he said, rolling his eyes as if he were a knight on a chess board. He then jumped up and began swinging on the rope, which gradually lowered him down towards the sand. He was careful to stay quiet. He would obey enough so that his fun wouldn't be ruined.

"Flick!" Ivy hollered over the edge of the boat as she watched him sliding down. He was like a younger brother to her, she'd known him for quite a few years, having babysat him with he was younger.

"Oy, don't have a cow, I'm right here in the sand," Flick called back, a grin on his face. It was all to real to him, though in his mind it was quite nonsense, the fun sort. His grin began to grow as he heard Jode agree that Flick should be able to come. He was starting to like this fellow, he couldn't be too much older than him, a year maybe. Whatever, Flick was sure to make a friend soon enough.

"I suppose I'll stay and make sure the others don't get into trouble. Who all is staying?" Ivy asked, crossing her arms, hating the yelling. She sometimes hated having to do something for the good of everyone. She was stubborn, but considerably nice, if always made her feel like the unlucky duckling.

Maria heard someone ask who else was staying, but she was too flipped to reply right now. She was starting to have an OCD-induced panic attack in the cabin.

Jode nodded at Annie's question. "Yeah, I'm in," he said, then sent Flick a grin. He might want to be loyal to Annie, but he was still thirteen and also wanted to have a good time.

Amy pulled herself up onto the branch of the tree, and lay down in the branch, her head leaning against the trunk.
"This is nice," She muttered, closing her eyes and smiling. It was so much easier on her own. Opening her eyes, she pulled herself higher into the tree, and tried to see something through the trees, but she couldn't. Which hopefully meant nothing could see her. Grinning, she dangled one leg over the branch, and she drew the other up to her chin, wrapping her arms around. Singing 'Jesus of Suburbia' to herself, she knew she'd have to join up with the others again sometime soon, but right now, she was enjoying her solitude. It gave her time to think, about her friends, about her pets, and what the hell she was going to do to survive on this island.

ooc; Ok, guys, that's me for the night. If you get ahead quickly, I'll just say Amy hasn't been found, and then try to get her to group up with you, but right now, just leave her alone. I don't get many chances to do this in RP's, so I'm trying it with this character =D Night!

((Not many chances to do what, specifically? Putting your character in solitude?))

When Jode gave him a reassuring grin, Flick's grin enveloped his whole face. The whole situation was so ridiculous that only Flick could have imagined it, but the fact that it was actually happening amazed him. He was suddenly doubled over, guffawing at the marvelous fantasy that had just begun. Flick wanted to make the best of the adventure, but he almost couldn't believe it was happening. Laugh after laugh escaped his mouth as he rolled on the grounder, covered in sand at the other's feet. "I mean, please!" He laughed. "Don't any of you think its hilarious!?"

Annie looked at Flick annoyed. "What, that we're stranded in the middle of nowhere and have the potential of dying?" she asked him, her eyebrow arched. Honestly, she couldn't wait to get home, if they ever did. She knew right now Flick would be a pain, but she'd try her best to at least get a long with him. Other wise, this experiance would be miserable. "We can have fun after we have a solid life line...please?" she said, this time there was no bossiness in her tone, she was trying to be genuine and wanted them to survive.

Jode started laughing despite himself. It wasn't really funny but that was what made it so hilarious. He looked at Annie and grinned, wondering if she would start shouting or crack a smile herself.

"Yeah, it's pretty funny," he said.

Flick continued laughing, hardly hearing Annie's orders or logic, or whatever she was barking at him, almost giggling like a school girl. He was a smart kid, whether anyone else tried to see it or not, and the logic was there behind all of the madness in Flick's mind. He felt that Annie was overreacting. Sure, she was older had about four years of experiance on him, but he had a weapon of his own.

Flick was stuck in the world of being a kid and being a slightly more mature teenager. Flick could be logical but he worked in black & white. Things were very simple to him, right and wrong. He knew that they would survive, no need to mellodramatic, unless of course, they were going to join Flick in an amazing once in a life-time adventure. Flick the that before they would all realize, they would all be at school and everything would be boring as ever.

Alexa blinked wide awake, with all the commotion going on just beyond that door. For few seconds she just glared at the door, and everyone behind it who had woken her up, then slowly hunger started kicking in. She moved toward the door, only to roll out of bed landing with a thud. "Help!" The 12 year old squeaked, squirming to get out of the blanket wrapped tightly around her. Breaking free, she staggered out in the hallway and started for the deck.

Alex stared in confusion at the green tops, the only thing she could see right now. "Trees in the ocean?" She asked the ship blankly, peering over the side at the sandy beach. "Whoa! Is the the school?! A tropical retreat, sweet!"

Just as Flick recovered from his laughing fit, brushing the sand off of himself, he heard a girl on the ship talking about the school being here! How wonderfully preposterous, Flick thought as a burst of laughter shuddered through him again. "You're kidding me," he yelled up with a laugh.

In ways, Flick wished he could go to a school in such a location, though onthe other hand, he wouold have preferred to never go to school at all! "No, silly. This is a magical island," Flick said in a more serious tone, just as if he owned the place.

ooc: Whoops, MEGAcya

Seeing everybody begin to jump over the ship, and walk onto the beach, Justin began doing the same, but not before falling into the water when he was supposed to jump on to the sand. Groaning, he waded out of the water, but he was totally soaked, and it was hard to move. Following the bossy girl's lead, he followed her, and waited for Lori and David to come off of the ship. Sitting on the sand, Justin hoped that his clothes would dry quickly, not wanting to have to climb back on the ship for new ones.

Annie closed her eyes as she restrained the temptation to smack Flick upside the head. He was being an idiot right now. Annie would loosen up, but only after she knew they'd be okay. She hated the unknown. She was afraid that if she spoke, she'd come across the wrong way, so motioning with her head slightly she started for the sparsely placed trees. Hopefully there would be some sort of clearing not to far away, but she didn't know for sure.
