((That was kind of how I was trying to make him, lol! So good! hehe))
A small handful, Flick thought to himself, resting his weight on the rope in his hands. He had picked out these words and disected them as if she had meant to say they were only her playing pieces for her own survival. "Forward two and three right," he said, rolling his eyes as if he were a knight on a chess board. He then jumped up and began swinging on the rope, which gradually lowered him down towards the sand. He was careful to stay quiet. He would obey enough so that his fun wouldn't be ruined.
"Flick!" Ivy hollered over the edge of the boat as she watched him sliding down. He was like a younger brother to her, she'd known him for quite a few years, having babysat him with he was younger.
"Oy, don't have a cow, I'm right here in the sand," Flick called back, a grin on his face. It was all to real to him, though in his mind it was quite nonsense, the fun sort. His grin began to grow as he heard Jode agree that Flick should be able to come. He was starting to like this fellow, he couldn't be too much older than him, a year maybe. Whatever, Flick was sure to make a friend soon enough.
"I suppose I'll stay and make sure the others don't get into trouble. Who all is staying?" Ivy asked, crossing her arms, hating the yelling. She sometimes hated having to do something for the good of everyone. She was stubborn, but considerably nice, if always made her feel like the unlucky duckling.
