Seeing their self-appointed leader begin to walk towards the forest, Justin sighed, getting off the beach, and following her. Looking around the sparse jungle, he didn't think it would be too bad, but what did he know about camping. Looking closely at the girl leading, he could see that she really wanted to hurt one of the annoying kids, but she restrained herself, or so he thought, still walking behind her, into the jungle.

Jode turned to Annie. "We should probably camp on the beach, 'cause the little ones won't want to go into the forest," he said. "They'll want to build houses on the beach where they can see the sea and stuff, won't they? See any boats comin'. And they'll be scared of the woods. Don't you think?" He looked at her eagerly.

Amy woke up and groaned, she must have dozed off. And now she was lying akwardly on the branch. Twisting around a bit, she lowered herself out of the tree, and jumped off the lower branches, landing with a thud, and she grunted as some pain surged through her ankles again. Coming out of her crouch, she stretched, and looked around the small forested bit. She liked it here.

Breaking a branch of a tree, she used it to beat bushes out of her way as she made her way deeper into the jungle. Her arm got sore soon, and she couldn't see anything except more trees, so she turned back, and went to her tree again, climbing up halfway. Dangling her legs off the branch, she sung them a bit, singing Green Day and Paramore songs to amuse herself. From here, she'd be able to see if anyone else was approaching.

Annie looked to Jode as she climbed over a fallen palm tree. "Yes they probably will, but we have to take in account for high tide, low tide, and storms. The beach would be nice, but a very hazerdous place to be." She said solemnly, her eyes darting around quickly. She smiled though when she saw a few familiar looking trees as they headed deeper into the jungle, the deeper they went, the thicker it got.

((Not too much, Darlin'. Just seems like a lot... Amy is off on her own because she was being as stubborn as a mule, Annie has appointed herself as a leader, Justin and Jode are being very loyal towards Annie, but Jode also wants to have fun and can't help laughing with Flick who just wants to have fun and is annoying the living hell out of Annie. "I know about tides!" Flick jumped when Annie had mentioned it. "We might want to set up in that open grassy area just there. Close enough to the water and close enough to hte forest to hear if any wild pigs or something are running around. I love bacon!" He continued on as he patted his bellie, starting feel a bit hungry at his own mention of food.

" 'Sides, O' glar-e-us le-dar," Flick rounded up towards Annie, embelishing his accent quite a bit. "We'll need some people to hunt! I'm fast enough at least." Flick wasn't about to mention hunting without his name on the list of hunters. His grin had spread, Annie couldn't repell that idea, surely.

Lori walked reluctantly at the back of the group, her arms folded across her chest in protest at their big-headed 'leader', and David trying to talk her out of her current sulk-mode.
"C'mon 'retta. She's just trying to watch out for everyone."
"So what? It doesn't mean she has the right to boss us all around. And how come she's talking to us like we're kids? I'm 17 in a few months, she can't be any older than that."
"Yeah, but... just be nice okay?"
"Why do you care so much about being nice to her anyway?"
"I don't. It's just, we're never going to get anywhere if we're all at each other's throats, are we?"

Alexa looked towards a bo who looked about her age, who was laughing. A magical island? Cool! Where's breakfast? What had happened to the captain? Magical in what way? Alexa glanced up again and spotted the group heading for the jungle. "I wanna come too!" She kicked off her shoes n the deck and started climbing down the side of the ship, landing on the beach.

"Ouch ouch ouch! Ow!" Alexa began hopping up and down on one leg on the hot sand yelling. She managed to direct her frantic hopping toward the forest, yelling. "Hey wait for me!" Alexa called, breaking into a run.

Justin turned around and grinned at Lori and David, who were fighting, something that they usually did. Turning back around to walk, he heard a girl yelling, and turned around, to see a younger tirl running up the beach, who seemed to be hopping. Looking back at the trees, Justin grinned, these had coconuts, and he loved to climb trees, although he'd never seen these before. Sitting down against one, he looked over at the ship, and all the kids running around. Seeing coconuts dropping beside him, he frowned, "Uh, oh", he muttered, right before being hit on the head. Holding his head, he leaned over on the sand. "This is going to be a long 'vacation'", Justin mumbled, moving out of range of the coconut tree.

Flick rolled his eyes, but didn't truely care that much that no one bothered to listen to him. They were going to realize he was right at some point, better not try cramming it into their heads, or he might be on the black list for life. "I don't know why you'd want to follow them," Flick called out in laughter, emphasizing the word follow, as the girl that looked to be his age took off in a run towards them. He then kicked off his shoes and socks and then pulled off his shirt, lying it on top his shoes and ran for the water.

The water was crystal clear with a hint of blue glimmering off the water like diamonds splintering from the sunlight. The heat from the sun's rays made the cool water refreshing, though not the safest thing to drink, although it was the clearest water one might find in an ocean. There were lots of small colorful fish swimming in the shallow washed up tides in the almost white sand. Looking back at the island, Flick couldn't have wished for anything more. Loads of palms containing coconuts, and in the distance were fruit tree's of a few varieties, their colors shining in the lush and green forest. The thought of a river crossed Flick's mind. The plants couldn't just live off of straight salt water, could they?

Jode followed Annie. "Good point," he said. "But Flick had a good idea." He looked around. Jumbled lines of trees stretched out as woodland and in the distance there were low crops of cliffs and finally the bald summit of a mountain rising from the forest floor in the distance.

"I bet this is a pretty good place to explore," he commented.

"Yeah," Flick agreed, charging out of the water at full speed, or as fast as the water would allow him. "There's got to be a river or something, right? And those mountains, they aint too far," Flick sad looking up. "Oy, lets go," he whispered, jabbing his elbow lightly at Jode before tackling him onto the sand, childish laughter roaring out of his mouth.

Jode glanced at Annie, almost as if for permission, then nodded and grinned.

(( I don't think it's possible to go that far without every one. I'll try to be on tomorrow after school... tomorrow is the first day, and I work Tuesday and Thursday night, just so you all know...))

Flick then hopped up quickly, standing over Jode with a huge grin on his face. "Come on," He said, grabbing Jode's hand and pulling him up, not wanting to waste another moments time, though it felt like they had all the time in the world. Here, Flick felt invincible, like something over took them all when they ship slid up to the shore.

"I'll race ya," Flick said, doing jumping jacks without the arm movements. He knew perfectly well that there was no way they could have found a possible finish line, but it was all in good fun, right?

Jode nodded. He warmed himself up childishly, imitating Flick's jumping jacks. "Ready?" he said, knowing that the finish line was probably when they both couldn't run anymore.

"Go!"

He started sprintng, shedding his top as he sprinted under the hot sun.

As soon as the last word escaped Jode's lips, Flick was off! The sand was warm under his feet, the warm grass cooling them quickly. He gave a quick glance back at the others on the beach watching, standing in their dust. His childish laughter echoed about as he stayed at pace with Jode. Some twigs crunching under his bear feet were only slightly uncomfortable, Jode had the advantage of shoes at the moment. "You think we can reach the mountains?" He hollared, though Jode was right next to him. Flick's breathing was just as even if he were standing there.

Jode matched him easily. "Sure!" he called. They sprinted hard and soon the thicket of the woodland was closing around them, enclosing in them in a cool green shade beneath a canopy of leaves.

"How big do you think these woods are?" Jode asked.

The adrenalin was pulsing in his ears, he could only hear his breathing and Jode. Nature itself had blurred until Jode had questioned the size of the island forest and Flick began to look around. "Hold up," he said slowing his run down to a walk and almost a complete stop. Around them it was very green, a little color here and there.

"You know, it didn't look big from the ship," He said, turning in circles. "Maybe this place is bigger than we thought... I mean it even has a mountain!" Flick then toppled over comfortably onto the lush green grass and moved around as if he were making snow-angels.
