When Ian received his notebook back, he wrote, 'That's good.' He was curious to know why, but felt that this wasn't the best time to ask. Brielle intrigued him really. Maybe the fact that she was mute, but that wouldn't really be a good quality to be intrigued over... or was it? Nonetheless, he shook the thought away, for when he gets curious, it's hard for him to control it. 'So, what do you do besides drawing?'

Bri fought hard not to start laughing again. She guessed that's another reason why she didn't talk much to people. People joked around, jokes lead to laughs, and Bri hated laughing because it sounded like something dying, and she almost always ended up coughing.
'Oh come on. You're nice and pretty. Besides, what's age but a # anyways.' She left it at that before going on to the next topic.
'Then cool, I guess we're friends now.' It had been a while since Brielle had actually had an actual friend. She often moved 2 or 3 times a year, so it got hard.
She slid the notebook over to Wynn, just as Ian slid his notebook over to her. The girl read the little that was there quickly, and didn't pause before responding.
'Ah, you are observant. I also play piano, guitar, and I'm currently learning violin. What about you? What do you do?' Bri wrote back, now sliding that notebook back over to the boy next to her.

He smiled, impressed by what Brielle could do. 'That's more than what I can do. All I play is the piano.' He wrote, feeling a bit intimidated. 'Well, I guess I know what my goal is now - to hear you play those instruments.' Ian hoped that Brielle was okay with that, and to recognize that he wanted to become friends with her, just like Wynn. For no particular reason, he wondered how Brielle's voice would sound like and he thought that if Brielle wasn't mute, she would sing lovely along with the instruments. Again he smiled, having another thought - Wynn and Brielle singing a duet.

Wynn smiled widely as she read Bri's comments. I guess age didn't matter that much, but what would Ian want with her, when he could get any girl in the whole school? Once again Wynn shrugged that thought off. Relatioships was not something she wanted to think about right now, she was way too busy with this new solo, the private vocal lessons she took every Wednesday and Friday afternoon and her volunteer work at the hospital which was basically every day. Now that she thought about it, Wynn was so exausted. She hoped the school day would end soon, but it there was still three more periods left in the day. But again she had to smile when Bri accepted her request at a friendship. It would be interesting getting to know her, she was just a very interesting girl. Trying out what Bri had suggested, Wynn took a deep breath and turned to face Ian. There was no harm in talking to him, was there? She flashed an innocent, friendly smile at him. "How was music class?" She asked innocently, if only she stopped there. "I saw you come into chorus class with some papers." She added, thinking she sounded like a complete idiot at that moment.

Ian's thoughts were interrupted when Wynn unexpectedly started talking to him, surprising him, making him smile at her courageousness. Ian always knew Wynn to be one of those shy girls. Straightening his posture, he turned his head to face Wynn. "It was good." He replied. "There was a substitute so we got to play whatever we wanted.. What about your chorus class - how was that and what were those papers about? Was it anything important?"

Wynn smiled warmly and nodded. "Chorus class was good." She said casually. "Oh.. the papers.." She said nervously. She wanted to tell him about her new solo, but she didn't want to brag. "Oh well Ms. Shonfeld wrote a new song, she's very talented.. and I was shocked but she asked me to sing it at the next concert." Wynn said, her smile widening. It really was a honor to be asked to sing a solo at the school concert, people were rarely asked to do this at her school. She was also proud of herself for talking to Ian, maybe this wouldn't be so hard afterall. I won't become clingy like the other girls she silently promised to herself.

Bri had slightly spaced out, lost in her own thoughts for a moment there. When she came back down to earth, she saw both Ian's and her own notebook in front of her. Grabbing Ian's, the girl read his response quickly, seeing as it was extremely short.
'Ah, the piano. Perhaps the best instrument...you can add almost anything together, create so many things.' The girl was always playing with new cords, and what sounded best together, and wrote a few things, though not even her family, or anyone else for that matter, knew about it. 'Do you do anything else, like sports or anything?' She asked, just trying to be friendly; since Ian was obviously putting forth an effort, so was she.
After sliding back his notebook, trying to do so subtle because of the conversation between him and Wynn, Brielle turned back to her own notebook, then realized that Wynn hadn't responded, and had only started her conversation.

Not wanting to be rude, and obviously not able to interrupt, Bri picked up her drawing notebook, and flipped to a fresh page, now drawing the two people in front of her, the table in close detail, and smudges of the people in the background. Perhaps this was the starting of a glorious friendship, or the relationship or the two people before her, and she wanted to capture it.

"A solo huh? Great Job! I'm happy for you." praised Ian. "I'll be sure to come to school that day to support you then." Now Ian could sing, he just wasn't ever that interested in it and he prefer to hear others' voices than his own. His family members say that when he sings, he sings with so much heart and warmth that it just makes you want to cry. Occasionally, he'll karaoke at a party or something, other than that, he wouldn't.
When Ian obtained his notebook back, he scanned over it quickly and picked up his pencil. 'Yes, I agree,' he began writing. 'I love the piano. I play it when I become angry... It calms me down and puts my soul at ease. And sports? No, not in any sport team, but I would play with a few friends just for fun. Any sport really. Tennis, basketball, softball, you name it! With the exception of soccer. It used to be pretty fun until my 6th grade teacher made us play every single day and well... I'm sick of it now.' Then he handed the notebook back to Brielle.

"Justin Reatz?" Justin stood up from the chair in the waiting room at the hospital. He was fixing the engine on his car and his finger got caught, breaking it. "That's me." he said, walking after the middle aged blonde. "Have a seat here." she said motioning towards the cushioned chair. He plopped on the chair and stared at the lady. "Dr. Crull, will see you in a moment." She eyed Justin's finger, swollen, purple, and just shaped wierd. Once she closed the door he stared around the room's walls. It had many posters on them, some of a wierd disease on people's limbs and others about stitches. He curled his lips in disgust when he saw a picture of a person's skin disolving away. He shook his head and decided to look out of the window instead. Then the doctor entered, Justin swilved his head and saw the old gray haired man walk in. "Hello Justin, welcome back." Dr. Crull smiled, very annoyed. Justin had been in the hospital many times from many injuries. "It says here that you broke your finger.....again." he said staring at Justin's oversized, odd colored, and wierd shaped finger. Justin only smiled, "Did you try to fix it?" Dr. Crull asked examining his finger closer. "Yah, sorta." he said sheepishly. He thought it was just a minor fracture but it turned out this was worse. "Well you made it worse." the doctor concluded. "We will have to put a brace on it." he stared up at Justin's face. Justin rolled his eyes and sighed heavily. "Isn't there another way?" he asked. He was getting tired of the cast's and braces. "I'm afraid not, unless you want to make it even worse." Dr. Crull answered. "Fine." Justin looked at a blank spot on the wall. Dr. Crull got up and walked out of the room, Justin figured he was getting the brace.

Once Dr. Crull had fastened the brace on Justin's right pointy finger, he slapped Justin's back and said, "I'll contact your dad for the money. You should go to school." "Yep." Justin replied, saying goodbye and thanks to Dr. Crull and walking out of the room, and walking out to the parking lot. He opened his car and started driving to school. "It had to happen." he murmured angrily. He finally arrived at school and grabbed his backpack, he slung it over his shoulder and walked in. He walked into the office and the secretary looked at him then his finger. "Dr's office?" she asked, already knowing the answer. He nodded and she said, "You have ten minutes left of lunch." He nodded and walked to his locker, throwing the backpack in and walking to the lunch room. Right when he opened the door's his friend, Spencer walked up to him smiling. "There's my main man." he slapped Justin's back and saw his finger. "Wow, another one." he nodded approvingly. Justin rolled his eyes and flashed a smile, "Only you would say that."
And God Created Woman.
And She was Good.
And she had two arms, two legs and three breasts.
And God asked woman what she would like to have changed about herself.
And she asked for her middle breast to be removed.
And it was good.
And she stood with her third breast in her hand
And asked God what should be done with the useless boob.
And God created man.

Brielle had yet to interupt their conversation, in any way; not that that was hard to keep from doing since it wasn't like she could just jump in and start talking with them. Besides, they seemed to like each other, and were getting along. Well, she would probably call any girl that did not like him insane; seriously, just look at him. Besides, he did not just have looks, he was actually really nice also.

Shaking her head to get out of her thoughts, Bri turned to the notebook that Ian had slid back over to her, and she read it rather quickly.
'Oh, that's cool.' The girl wrote next to the part about the piano and all. 'O, that sucks that you're sick of it. soccer's a good game. But cool, it shows that you're athletic.' She did not really mean anything by it, just that one could tell that he was not one of those lazy boys. Bri slid the notebook back over to Ian, then went back to the drawing of him and Wynn.

When Ian received his notebook, he smiled appreciatively, knowing what Brielle meant. He looked at the time and saw that lunch would be over in 5 minutes, so for the sake of time, he commented as he looked at Brielle's drawings, "I like that - the shadings end everything. You draw very well." Then he turned to face the two and said, "I would like to invite you two to a gathering this Friday night. We'll be bowling!"

As Ian started talking, Bri had opened her mouth to respond, but shut it and shook her head. She took out her cell phone and went to add a new contact, handing the phone to him. While he put his number in, the girl replied in the notebook. "Thanks." She wrote to the comment on her drawing. "Maybe, I'll get back to you one that. Not a big social person." Brielle wrote, handing his notebook back just as the bell rang.

Ian raised his brow when it seemed like Brielle was about to speak. Nonetheless, he entered his number. Maybe I should have gotten her number too.. He thought as he headed to his next class. Ian hoped that Brielle and Wynn would come, he didn't invite them out of the blue for no reason. Though they were not like his other friends, they piqued his interests.
His next class was PE, so he headed for the locker rooms and changed. As Ian was heading to the Gym, he caught himself hoping to see Brielle there, but he shook the thought out, not knowing why it was there in the first place. Today, they were going to start a new unit and it was going to be Baseball and he couldn't wait to play.

After getting her phone back, Bri flashed Ian a smile before rushing out of the cafeteria, heading to her creative writing class. It was not too bed; a lot of writing but that was what she liked to do. After that, she headed to her math class. A few people looked familiar in there, but of course she sat in the back and was not expecting anyone to talk to her. Just about all the girl could think about was Ian's offer to go bowling with his friends. Maybe if it had been one on one, or just him and Wynn she would prefer that, but of course she was not good with large groups of people. They would talk, she would take too long to respond, and then she would be like left out-as always.

(Is it just me of does this seem like it's becoming a 1x1 roleplay? Where is everyone?)
Ian couldn't wait for the day to end. He was too tired and this was his worse subject, math and he hated his teacher as well. The teacher, Mr. Ramirez, was just way too boring, way too strict and had a heavy Spanish accent that Ian could hardly understand sometimes. If only he had another teacher. Ian's last class of the day was Chemistry. It was a pretty okay class. As he was walking to Chemistry, he thought about Brielle again. Once more, Ian hoped that Brielle would be in that class, so he can persuade her to go. He didn't want her to back down because she felt that she wouldn't fit in or something to that matter. When he walked in, his teacher, Ms. Mckenzie, was rummaging around trying to look for something. She was known to be always very unorganized, and Ian wondered how she manage to get everything done and through every school year. Usually, by the end of the day, students loitered around longer than usual before going to their last class, so only a couple or students were there. He sighed as he sat down and waited for class to begin so it can be over and done with.

((yea, i've noticed that too, I don't know where everyone else went))

At the end of the day, Brielle went to her locker for the first time. She was dropping off some of her textbooks, keeping one of them to review a little bit on what she had missed, which had been a lot. The blonde looked for Ian in the hallway, but was not sure how she would get his attention do to the fact that she could not talk. She still looked, having written a note to him during math that said:
'Hey, I'm still thinking about the bowling thing, but maybe you can come over one day after school or something. I'm sure my dad would be thrilled about me finally making a true friend.'
It was folded neatly, though she doubted she would be able to get it to him. One thing she knew was that Ian was awesome, and she really wanted to go Friday just to spend time with him, but she would not do that without knowing if he would actually help her with the socializing and all.
