Randy saw a cop go by in his patrol car. Randy had always wanted to be a cop, after all, his dad was. Randy gave Violet another bright smile. With the sun burning bright, he feared he might blind her. He stood. "I could give you a tour," he offered.

"Cool. I'm up for it" she said returing Randy's bright smile. "I think you might blind me with your smiled." she said jokingly

Randy gave her a perplexed grin. Strange coincidence? "OK." He began to lead her around the beach. "That over there is the Sun Gym. It functions as a place for guys to buff up, and as a place for girls to ogle guys. But, girls can also buff up. I myself like a little muscle on a chick, as long as she doesn't go too far." He led her to some local apartments. "The Wave apartments. I live in room number 456." He then turned and showed her the beach. "And, of course, you have the beach. Pristine location, glorious sun, beautiful girls..." He turned and gave her a wink. "And cool water. This is the beach culture. Though, too much sun can be hazardous around here. That's pretty much it. Did you want to see anything else?"

"Do you have any running trails. I like to run in the moringing. Do you guys also have a cafe or coffee shop>?" she asked curiosuly smiling hwne he winked at her.

"The beach can serve as a running trail. There's some woods about three miles from here if you want to use that trail. There's a coffee shop just over there." He pointed to it. "Any other questions?" His voice remained kind and his smile real. He didn't mind playing tour guide.

Yes one." Violet sayed "You wanna go get something to drink with me my treat?" she asked motiong to the coffee shop.

Randy nodded. "That sounds lovely." He followed Violet into the coffee shop and took a seat in a booth. He needed to cool off a little before drinking hot coffee.

"So what do you mostly do in your spare time?" Viole asked curiouly SHe looked around the coffee shop memorizing it's details. It was nice and felt warm. Her violet tank top was cozy against her skin.

"I spend most of my free time at the beach. I tan, work out, look at girls. Don't get me wrong, though. I'm not a man-whore." He smiled. "I care about my health because I'm interested in a career in law enforcement. Despite the old stereotype of pudgy, donut eating cops, you have to be in shape to do that kind of work. I love it here, and I want to make sure everyone else loves it just as much. Criminals detract from the pleasantness of this town." He took a sip. "Tell me about you, Violet."

"There isn't much to tell.I like to sketch and write. I paint a lot. I run to stay in shape. I play basketball. I also need to be healthy becuase heart problems run in my family. Oh and I want to look hot in a bikinni. Another good reason. I am freelance writer for different places. I also paint and sell them some times. I was a model for a few months. It was hell. " Violet said laughing

"Oh, I'm sure you don't need any help looking hot in a bikini." He took another sip of the coffee. A freelance reporter, huh? That must be interesting work."

Violet laughed at him mentioning her looking hot in a bikin"Maybe you'll see later today. I was thinking aout going to the beach later. Anyway being a freelance reporter is interesting. Or it was before like all the good stories were covered on the news.So do you have a job

"I work the evidence department in the local precinct. My dad's the Chief of Police, and he got me the job. He knows I'm interested in joining the force, but he knows I'm not yet ready to go out in the field. I prepare evidence for court cases and keep track of file records. And I wouldn't mind seeing you in a bikini." He relaxed his lips out of a smile, but kept his face pleasant. "And hey, without dedicated reporters, most of those stories wouldn't be on the news." He finished his coffee and pushed the cup aside. "Thanks, by the way."

"Yeah. I'll be at the beach. Next time, if there is a next time, I'll pay the tab." He stood up and went back to his radio and blanket. The song had changed to "Contagious" by Y&T. He was quite happy to have been of help to that girl. She was very attractive and interesting, unlike the superficial girls he had dated in high school. He laid down on the towel and listened to the vocal stylings of Dave Meniketti.

Lizzy spread out her towel and watched as Violet and Randy did the 'tour thing'. When Randy returned to his towel she walked over in her black bikini. She was thin so she could make the bikini look good without having to be anorexic. "Hey Randy." She said calmly, with a small smile placed on her all-natural face. She did not beleive in makeup exept for dates and other important social gaterings. She had seen and talked to Randy once or twice before and was always happy to see him. "Whos the new girl?" She raised her eyebrows and gave Randy a sceptical look.

Randy turned to her. "Her name is Violet. Dustin was going to give her the tour, but he bailed at the last minute. So, I stepped in." He and Lizzy were good friends, but he seriously doubted she liked him beyond friendship.

"you sure you weren't flirting?" Lizzy asked, the look still on her face. Inside her heart flipped over She longed for him so badly it stung when he talked to other girls. She sat down next to him on the sand, "whatever. ya wanna take a swim?" she gestured down the beach to a less crowded spot.

Randy looked at her. "I haven't known her long enough to start a relationship, but I did flirt with her a little." He cracked his neck. "Yeah, I could go for a swim." He stood up and kicked off his sandals. It was evening, so the sand wasn't as hot. He walked to the water at the spot she had indicated, and dove in. He couldn't help but admire how sexy Lizzy looked in her bikini.

Lizzy Dove in after Randy in an elagent graceful dive. She poped out of the water and shook her hair back over her shoulder and did an under-water flip, popping out behind Randy. She tapped his shoulder and grinned.
