The next morning, Randy woke up early and put on a suit he had bought for the trial. He went into his kitchen and began to make a pot of coffee. While it was being made, he sat down at the table and studied over some sheets of stuff he would say. He was in charge of producing evidence against the defendant and explaining a bit of its significance to the jury. The prosecuter would do the rest.

He sipped his coffee as he began going over the notes some more, making sure he was ready for court.

He then got up and placed his plate on the counter. He put the legal notes inside a suitcase and approached her. "I have to go, too. See you later." He kissed her and gave her a smack on the butt in goodbye. He then went out the door and went to his car. He placed his briefcase in the front passenger seat, started the car, backed out after checking his blind spots and mirrors, then drove off toward the courthouse.
