Personality: Ken has always been a bit of a loner, and it suits him. His distance and brute strength has made some not want near him, but the girls all want him because of his looks and the charm he can give out to them. He loves to disorient his opponent in battle, making use of his brains as well as his brawn.
Biography: Ken Hanamiki was born on a chilly Autumn night in the Moon Lake Hospital. At birth, his spirit powers were so potent that he burned the hands of the nurse who delivered him. She almost lost her hold on him as a result, but the mother took him back and scolded the nurse. Ken grew up regularly, but with a talent for fighting. He was not afraid to show off his brawn, but he loved to work his brain, too. Ken began lifting weights and also made top grades at his middle school. By the time he was a Freshman in high school, Ken's great rep, both academically and physically, had made their way across town. Ken joined the school's baseball team and would have made the Varsity team, but he dropped out before he could because of the death of his mother due to gang violence.

Ken eventually formed his own gang and his spirit powers began to increase. He found he could harness them and do amazing things. Ken had found an old staff in his basement, and his spirit powers and natural ability allowed him to master the use of it in five months. Ken eventually rose to the top of the fighting world, but knew of a fighter who had also come that far just across the River Sticks... Upon hearing of him, Ken could not resist this challenge. Taking up his staff and rallying his gang, Ken took a ferry boat across the river and went to face him.

her pants are similar to what Touya wears, only they gather just under her knees, and on her feet are simple leather thin-strapped sandals. She has a rich caramal skin with long layered white hair that reaches her knees, her eyes are identical in color to Touya's.
Weapon: Her powers, and a short sword.
Anything interesting: she has the symbol in the picture tattooed in between her shoulder blades. As well as a tribal tattoo: as seen here: http://th01.deviantart.com/fs11/300W/i/ ... quirel.jpg on each hip, starting at her pant line and reaching just above her knees, no one has seen these tattoos, and if someone does and she doesnt approve of it, they dont live very long.
Personality: She is quite like Touya, and always enjoys a good challenge. Once befriended she is fiercely loyal, but it's getting to that point is when you are safe. She puts herself and her brother before anyone else.
Family: Touya is her brother, and the only thing she knows.
Background / Short bio: She is Touya's little sister, only by a few years, but she was in the Shinobi with him, Jin, and Chuu, becoming friend with all of them. Just by looking at her you can tell that they are related, from their facial structure, height and their eyes. She know many of his moves, as well as some of her own.

Attire: Black suit with long sleeves and skirt that goes down to the middle of her thighs. Under the top of the suit is a white tank top and she wears black, cloth shoes that are form fitted and padded. Makes her almost silent. (See pic for most attire)

Anything interesting: A large scar across her back that looks like an X
Personality: She is a bit distant and seems sad all of the time. She is able to be kind, but the moments are rare due to something from her past.
Family: No family. She is alone and the last of her kind.
Background / Short bio: Shina was born a Zone demon, some of the oldest and now almost extinct demons. She was thrown out of her family and exiled from the rest of her kind for trying to change their ways. Not long after she was kicked out the rest of her kind was wiped out by a stronger group of demons. She is now alone, and tries not to get close to anyone





In the shadows of the recently build castle a voice echoed through the halls, "He best not let me down..." the voice was smooth and crystal, with a menacing tone to it as well. Not much was seen trough the shadows of the castle, only bright yellow eyes and gleaming white hair in the darkness. Small footsteps were then heard as a little red imp ran into the darkened room.
"Master, Master, Lord Sen'Jin," he called in a nasily voice as he bowed before the man, "he is with the Urameshi, sir, he is with him," he contunied as he bowed to the tile floor multiple times. The man on the backened throne moved to a upright position, revealing red cusions on the back of the massive chair.
"Pleasent...now, now it's only a matter of time..." he replied and then laughed, the laugh echoed through the halls and chilled the little imp to the bone as he joined in with the laughing of his Master.



Night was coming fast as Yusuke and the team discussed plans for the two demons that happened upon them earlier..
So she was hiding at Genkai's? The good news was, Gerujin had found the koorime, and Shina. The bad news was, there was no way to get to them with all the spirit detectives and their associates around. No matter. If Gerujin simply hung around, he was sure to find a window of opportunity. He still felt like killing Yusuke, but figured something like that would trigger an impossible battle. After all, Gerujin alone could not fight the combined efforts of Kurama, Hiei, Kuwabara, Genkai, and others he did not recognise. He was confident that he could take them one at a time, but not all at once.

Genkai's eyes shifted outward again through the door. A new demon had just arived who's spirit energy wasn't something to sneer at. Rightly, she was becoming more and more annoyed with all these people just showing up. This wasn't as fun as the tornament she'd held, no one was battling yet. Although she supposed she should count herself fortunate, as this was a serious situation. Genkai assumed he was one of the newer group flunkies, although remaining quite suspicious of all of them.
Yukina giggled as she watched Kuwabara complain and walk to the group, she then went inside to check on the two demons.

Naomi watched Shina, "Just curious...you seem different then everyother demon around here," she mumbled as she walked to the window on the opposite side of the room...she could make a break for it. Yukina then walked into the room, smiling at Shina and Naomi.
"Well I see you two are feeling better," she greeted with a small bow.
Shina nodded her head a bit. "As good as I can be... Considering the crisumstances..." she told the woman, looking out the door and groing figity, "can I leave? I can not stay here.. They will find me soon enough. And they will not back off.. They do not care where they are. They will attack..."
Yukina looked at Shina questioningly, "Who are they?" she asked with pure curiousity and worry in her voice.
Naomi stared at her also, saying nothing as the boys out in the court yard continued to talk.

"All right, guys. The problem seems to be stemming from Makai, so we should go there and deal with theproblem. It would be better than waiting for it to come to us," Yusuke went on as Kuwabara Kurama Hiei and himself stood in a circle.
"So you're saying to simply confront it?" Kurama asked. It wasn't an entirely bad idea but his thoughts went to the other demons they had in their company. The ice demon might certainly try to kill them once she got them to Makai, if she actually did, that was. Shina...could she be convinced to come to Makai? A place she had been avoiding with terror.
Hiei stood there with his arms crossed over his chest, his red eyes narrowed as he looked at Yusuke. He nodded his head once, then unfolded his arms. "We should ask the women. They both reciently came here from there. They might have more information then we do." He told them, closing his ruby eyes.
"She's said nothing that we know of now." Kurama replied. As he knew, the ice demon and Shina still were recovering from their injuries, "What are your thoughts Yusuke?"
Hiei may very well be correct, the two female demon might know things they currently did not but it was not certain in any way that they would reveal that information. There really was quite a bit to consider if the decision was set to go to Makai. There was also Minumori, Kurama noticed as she had come up. Would she consent to go to Makai as well depending upon who all Yusuke would decide to go?

Yusuke thought about it and nodded. 'Yes, we should get some information from the women. It'd be better than entering without a clue of what was coming." He approached Shina. "Before you left Makai, what was going on? We're planning to go there and need to know if there are dangers to look out for." His spirit energy had completely recharged and he was feeling much better.

Gerujin remained silent for now. So far, everything seemed to be going smoothly. But, one could never predict the nature of humans. There had to be a way Gerujin could get involved in the group, how else would he get what he needed? It wasn't too difficult to think of a solution, "If you do go, I would advise you take me with you. You're going to need my accute senses to track down your enemies, and there's no one better for that task than I." he suggested, confident that Yusuke would bite. If not, surely Kurama or Hiei would see the logic in Gerujin's suggestion.

"Gimme one good reason to trust you, Mr. Spirit-Radar?" demanded Kuwabara. Kuwabara and Hiei were about the least trusting of the group, Hiei the most. Although Kuwabara did admit to himself that if Gerujin could really track demons as good as he boasts, then he wouldn't be a half-bad ally. That, of course, he kept to himself. Kuwabara was just too proud to say something like that outloud.

It was a legitimate argument, which was irritating. Hopefully, the others would outvote Kuwabara, "Well, do you know any others with my senses? No? Didn't think so. I rest my case." said Gerujin bluntly in reply to Kuwabara's argument. He knew it was going to be hard to hide his intentions with a mind reader like Hiei around. Thankfully, mind reading is easily blocked by simply thinking about nothing, which is what Gerujin would have to do to protect his agenda from Hiei.

Shina turned and glared at Yusuke. "I am telling you nothing. As if I do then it reaveals the reason for which I left.. And that I wish to remaine a secret." She told him, looking at the bandages on her right arm that covered her deep wound. "And as for you." She said as she looked over at the blind demon. "Any demon can track others if they just feel for unique spirit or Reiki." She said.

Hiei looked at the demon woman, narrowing his eyes. She was still hiding something. he turned to the blind demon and folded his arms over his chest. "I can track other demons by their energy and thoughts. We do not need you." He stated bluntly, feeling that they just needed information and then they could leave. Genkai could deal with the women and the blind demon. He wanted nothing to do with them, though the ice demon was rather interesting.

It seemed that Shina had allowed him to know more information that she told Yusuke. However, due to the fact that she was panicked when she'd told him about herself, Kurama was not entirely convinced about her involvement with some in Makai.

Kurama could only but agree with Hiei. He turned his emerald gaze to the blind demon as well.

"Unless you can provide a justified reason that you can aid us in some way," he began, "I'm sure Yusuke will not allow you to come along with. And if you believe you're somehow more skilled than Hiei concerning tracking, they only way to settle that would be a test and we may not have time for that."

Yukina was slightly removed from the group but not enough that she couldn't hear. She stood by listening in silence as a small, worried frown formed on her lips. It always seemed that the people she cared about were in dangerous situations.

Genkai leaned over and whispered gruffly in Yukina's ear, as she had herself come in to light the fire. She wagered Yusuke wouldn't want an old woman to best him on what might be one of his greatest excersions yet.

"What do you make of these new commers? You treated them and were close enough to notice quite a bit. I can't see myself trusting any of them, especially not that Gen-punk. "She looked to the blind demon who boasted to be great at tracking, and with minimal effort, she could tell that his spiritualistic energy was high; she'd sensed it the moment she came near. The others, ice demon and her little friend, small potatoes, as far as she was concerned. She knew, if he gave the group problems in future that Yusuke could handle it; why? BEcause she trained him to.


Minumori looked back and forth between the battling parties and couldn't presently tell who may or may not be the better tracker. She herself had only had experiences with Hiei's tracking prois and, although she found him insufferable, was impressed. She could only hope that they would stop the "horse/mule" debate long enough to finishe this mission before the world fell completely to shambles.

Naomi walked to the group, hand firmly on her sword, the other holding the picture she had always kept in her pocket, "Makai has fallen to a new demon," she said quietly, her blue eyes cold and anrgy as she spoke, "If you want to face him you need all the help you can get, the Shinobi couldnt take him down..." she then drifted her eyes to the picture, remembering the whole group trying to fight the Shadow Lord, and losing horribly.
She then looked to Yusuke, fed up of the hiding, "I am Ice Master Naomi, since we never got to that, and my brother is Touya," she paused, looking at everyone in turn as she spoke, "i came here looking for Team Urameshi for a barganing tool, to get my brother back. But it seems I underestimated you, something I will not do again, and now I ask aid. I do not know what all he is after, but I have a hunch he is the one who has Touya...I over heard a few of his imps talking, and he is after other demons...two of which are here in Ningenkai..." she paused and looked to Yusuke, "As for the tracking argument...if it would be any help I would like to provide my powers to your team for aid...its the least I can do for all of you after the trouble I caused..." She then smiled, "and I want a rematch Urameshi."

Yusuke turned to Naomi, a look of shock on his fce. "Touya? Team Masho Touya?" Of course it is, you idiot! He thought. How else would she know about Team Urameshi? He was a little disappointed that Shina had shot him down, but Naomi seemed to be stepping in to the batters box. "We could use all the help we can get in Makai. Though there are a few here I'm skeptical about, beggars can't be choosers." He fixed Naomi with that rogue look in his eyes and cocky smile. "We'll get to that rematch when Makai isn't going stir crazy." He turned to his original team. "Does anyone disagree with my decision?"

Gerujin was shot down, by both Hiei and Kurama. But, he didn't worry about them. After all, Yusuke seemed to be the one who had the final say, and it seemed he admitted that they would need all the help they could get. Perfect. He nodded his head in contempt, "Perhaps he is all you need," he said, gesturing to Hiei, "but two trackers are better than one, are they not?"

Kuwabara was really liking Kurama and Hiei for agreeing with him. But stupid Urameshi seemed like he was going to override that vote and let the others come anyway. He hated admitting it, but Gerujin's second statement was a valid, "Whatever. Can't argue that we need help. Kinda funny, being led by a blind guy and all." he said, referring to the old 'blind leading the blind' proverb.

Shina walked away from the group, testing her arm to be sure that it worked. "I'd love to stay.. But.. I must go." She said, turning and walking away from the group, her hair swaying around her face as she walked. She was not going back. She could not. Not when they were still after her. If they got her. No one would be safe.

Kieinarrowed his eyes at the blind demon. "No." He stated bluntly, then looked to Yusuke. "I do hope you are not considering his proposal. We know nothing of him!"

Kurama could not help observing that Shina was removing herself from the group. That was hardly a wise decision in his eyes considering that once by herself, Shina would become an easier target than if she stayed with him--no them, the group...He wasn't sure where that mistake of suject had originated...

Since they needed to be in Makai as soon as possible, it would have been easier to let Shina leave but Kurama could not do so in good conscience or go against his assignment from Koenma, which he was sure did not include him letting her leave. Nevertheless, he would respect Yusuke's position as a leader before he acted.

"Yusuke, we cannot allow her to leave." He said. "Koenma asked that I find her so I'm certain her leaving would not be in our best interest. And as for him-"

Kurama briefly glanced at Gerujin before returning his gaze to Yusuke.

"-I will respect your decision. While I can honestly say I'm undecided about him in general, he's done nothing that I know of to cause our distrust."

Genkai folded her arms studying the entirety of the group. What did it matter if either of them went? It wouldn't be long before they met up again if they were supporters of this, Shadow Lord person. Why would it truthfully matter to have the two woment along at all, although the man may be a useful tool. She would also respect the post given to Yusuke, unless he did something she didn't agree with.

Minumori siighed heavily. "Tell me," she began sarcastically. "I haven't been a part of this group for very long. Is it cusomary to twiddle around in circles for six days before proceeding anywhere?"

With a small pop heard and a cloud of smoke seen, Koenma appeared next to Genkai. he smoothed out his attire and looked around at the group, gulping as he saw Naomi and Shina.
"Hello all," he said as inconspiculously as he could as he strode over, standing a ways away from Shina, who was after all away from the group, "I have...some matters to attend to that cant wait any longer, involving...someone..." he muttered as he then took his pacifire out of his mouth. He was going to die for this. "You see, Naomi is right, his name is Lord Sen'Jin. And he is actually after a certain demoness within out midst..."
Koenma cleared his throat as he started pacing, tugging at his collar as he continued, "Zone Demons...are very rare, no more then 100 were alive. They have the ability to pull their power from another dimension that would seem to be, well, alive. At birth, the child of a Zone Demon is placed into the dimension in order to grow and learn to use their powers. If a child dies within that time, then the body is returned and burned, leaving no trace the child was ever there. If the child lives then they are awarded with their own specially designed weapon and given their name..."
"They seemed to have died out, being killed for the spell to give entrance to that deimension..." he looked to Shina, "but there is one left..." he then looked to the ground, concentraiting on the next words very carefully, "you see...after most of the Zone Demon deaths, I put tabs on the remaining...so I knew she was here the whole time...This, Kurama, is why I sent you to find her, these demons after here arent just any other scum after power, they are working for Sen'Jin...and now I am putting you four to work in protecting her from every demon sent at her."

Naomi stared at Koenma, speachless as he spoke the words that Shina wouldnt budge on as if they were nothing. She then looked to Shina, waiting a reaction she knew everyone might have seen coming. "He needs stopped," she mumbled as she looked at the picture once more before putting it back into her pocket, "for Touya's and Shina's sake," she then looked to Koenma, still waiting for the obvious.

Yusuke nodded. "So, we have another nutjob working for his own ends and not caring who he hurts along the way." He thought about it. Hiei and Kuwabara were very much against any newcomers joining the group, and Kurama seemed undecided. Yusuke nodded. "I don't trust most of the newcomers, but if they can provide any assistance, I suggest we take it. We might need it." He nodded at Koenma, indicating that he woud protect Shina. "So, when are we leaving for Makai," he asked Koenma.

Ken decided it was time to make his presence known. "Hopefully not without me." He stood before the group. "I believe I can be of some assistance."

Yusuke turned his head and gritted his teeth. "What are you doing here?" He was still ticked that he couldn't beat this guy.

Ken shrugged. "I'm here to offer assistance, Urameshi. Seems like you could use all the help you can get." He leaned against a tree and fixed him with a 'I've got you and you know it' smile.

Yusuke was seething with rage on the inside but kept a calm front. "What do you guys think?"

Gerujin let a smirk appear briefly, "Then you have my assistance." he told Urameshi, no longer paying regard to
