Roleplay Online with RolePlayGateway

Over the last couple of months this site has seen a growth in the numbers of new registrations. This is, of course, fantastic we are ecstatic, so why do we need help you all ask. There are lots of you who have registered and have not posted at all, there are another large number who have posted a greeting but little else. So what we need is comments from some of the silent masses, I want to know if there is anything we can do? What role plays you would contribute to? Anything at all that would entice you to make that post, to get involved in the community?

Uhhhh..... >.>....<.<.....I still haven't gotten a chance to look around....stressing and school and deviantART you know XD;; But I'll do it! I'll post. I only have 9 with this one, but I'll get there, don't worry XD

As for rps I'd contribute to....well, there's already a Transformers RP underway, but it's movie-based and not G1. Frankly I'm tired of all the movie-verse hype and would be much more interested in doing IDW-verse or something but that's just me.

I'm also a mix of a gaming, sci-fi, fantasy, and anime geek so I'd have no problem role playing Sonic the Hedgehog or anyone from fighter games, or some....sci-fi series or movies I'm familiar with....I'm interested in the Forgotten Realms RP, but I've barely begun to know that world (I've only read the Dark Elf Trilogy, must read moar!). ElfQuest, oh definitely! ...*snerk* it'd be funny if a bunch of peeps got together for a MapleStory rp XD.

Anime....I'd mainly do Yoroiden Samurai Troopers (Ronin Warriors for all you dubbed nerds), but I won't do any Rumiko Takahashi series (everything's been done as canon anyway) or Naruto or Yu-Gi-Oh or any fad-ish anime. I'd do Robotech (Macross) tho, that series rocks x3.

So there you have it, basic gist. Hope this helps-ish.

I'm not really all that great at starting a new rp and I haven't really found one yet that I'm going to join for a couple reasons. Mostly nothing new seems to be getting started and going into an rp that has been going for a while always seems a little odd. I'm sure something will come along eventually.

Well Rping is very hard when you don't have anyone to do it with?(Please keep you minds out of the gutter) maybe a place where you can post help wanted ads like

"Person needed to Play Edward Cullen in a Twilight RP"
or
"Person need to play Transgeneic in classic Dark Angel RP , must have knowledge of person and show"

things like would be very helpful
