New School for the Artistic (Open to all)

Quinzy burst out laughing at Jay's request to wander around aimlessly. "That would be pretty fun, and interesting." he said choosing his words wisely. "I'd love to learn more about you." he added, taking the last few bites of his frozen yogurt. "And talking to your teacher about booking the dance studion tomorow? That would work out pretty darn well." he said. "I'd have to check and see when most of my classes are though." he also added sadly. He had just realised that they had different majors so they probabley wouldn't have very many coordinating classes. But that was okay, she saw him as her best friend, meaning that they would be seeing alot of eachother.

"Well, not completely aimlessly, like look at where all the buildings and all are." Jane corrected herself. She had a map in her purse in case they got lost, but it was a good thought to think about them wandering around anywhere. Then, her cheeks turned the lightest shade of pink, though barely noticeable. "And we have a lot to learn about each other." The girl said, looking down to her only half finished Chocolate Yogen Fruz. "Want any of this?" Jay was not one for much sugar and what not; that was how she stayed skinny, that and all the dancing and what not. "Oh, I memorized my schedule before coming here." She was not trying to seem like one of those amazing students, she just did not find it appealing to walk around with a schedule stuck in front of the face.

(Sorry for keeping you BikerAngel!)

Riley caught Chase staring at her bag. She smiled slightly, a smile, that, contrasting to her hair and body, lit up her face momentarily. Then it disappeared again, like a light bulb going out. "I'm majoring in sketching." Riley said, trying at least to be a little nicer to this guy. "May I ask you what you're majoring in or would you think I was an absolutely nutty stalker?" She shrugged slightly, upsetting the good posture that was totally at odds with her outfit and hair.

He smiled a crooked half smile at her when she replied. He motioned to the guitar hung around his back with a slight chuckle. Knowing she was just asking to be polite. "Music mostly. I take writing but only to help with my music."

He smiled a little bigger at her stalker comment. "And no, you aren't an absolutelynutty stalker." He joked.

((Sorry for takings so long Lucky Knox. I haven't been on lately.))

Quinzy chuckled at Jay's correction. "Oh, okay. Finding where the buildings are sounds pretty good, and not aimless at all." he said. "And we do have alot to learn about eachother, seeing as were friends and all, I think learning about eachother is kind of required." he added. Quinzy's stomach lurched again when Jay asked if he wanted any of her Yogen Fruz. "Sure." he tried to sound neutral and not at all excited, hopefully he didn't fail. He gently stuck his spoon into her frozen yogurt and took a bite. "Yum."

((no worries, that's fine, I had to finish something anyways))

Jane also smiled. "Alright, shall we go then?" She asked, starting to stand up without the use of either of her hands; it was not that hard for her. "Yes, it is required. I look forward to learning more about you." The skater smiled; it was the truth. Then, she noticed his face brighten up as she offered him the frozen yogurt, and it made her smile widen. "Glad you like it." She grinned, not able to help but to take another small bite of it herself.

(( OH LORD. i'm so sorry, my computer crashed and i had to wait to get a new one. sorry it took so long ))

Quinzy jumped up to his feet at Jay's offer to walk around the campus. "Well, let's make learning about eachother fun instead if breaking through the text books. Do you reckon a game of 20 questions would help us learn easier?" he asked as he took another small bite from her Yogen Fruz.

((no worries, I've been out of state for the majority of it anyways, so I was also away.))

A lot of the things that Quinzy was doing was making her laugh, including jumping to his feet. Jay nodded. "Alright, 20 questions sounds fun. You go first." She grinned with a wink as they started walking away in any random direction, which was rather aimlessly despite that they had an objective.

(( Listen, i'm terribly sorry for the wait. Things with me have been so crazy, what with school, a move. But, i'm good now, so i'll be replying alot more. I promise. ))

Quinzy smirked at the fact that Jay wanted him to ask the first question, as they started to wait in a totally random direction, which wasn't supposed to be considered aimless, but they both knew that it was. "Hmm, alright. What's your favorite hobby. And I mean other than the form of art you were accepted here for" Quinzy said. He really wanted to know more about Jay. She seemed so cool, calm and collected. He definetly wanted to stay friends with her for a long time. For her to build a wall of trust around him, for him to be able to talk to her about anything and everything. And he knew that the way this talk - direction - commenced friendship was going, that was a definite possibility.

((aww, don't worry about it, but it is good to have you back! hope it's all good now!))

Jay had to bite her lips while she tried to think of a possible answer. "A hobby other than the reason I'm here..ouch, that's a hard one." She said, still biting the inside of her lip while she ran over things in her head. After a while, the girl just shrugged. "My entire life is about dance, all different kinds too, and music too, a little, I guess." Jane was stuck, she couldn't answer that question because dance had always been her life. "Ok, I know, reading! Ok, that's lame, I'm not a nerd, but yea..I'll just shut up." She was away of how she was going on and hoped he didn't think anything bad about her. The girl wasn't a nerd, she never read anything educational or anything, but a good fantasy book always fascinated her.
Wanting to know more about him, Jane was tempted to ask him the same question, but would save that one for a different type. "What's your favorite type of music?" She asked him. The girl wanted to stay away from the topic of herself because all she cared about was leaning more about the amazing boy before her.

(( Thanks, you're really understanding, haha. Alot more understand than other roleplay owners i've known. And thanks, everything is amazing now. ))

Quinzy burst out laughing at the fact that Jay was trying to prove to him that she wasn't a nerd. "Don't worry about seeing nerdy at all. I've read all of the Harry Potter books
at least 5 times, and I have a very questionable obsession with Transformers and Pokémon. So, if anyone were to be a nerd, I think i'd be me. You're safe." he smiled touching her shoulder
in reassurance. When Jay asked him his favorite type of music, Quinzy was actually stunned. Nobody had ever really asked him what type of music he listened to, other than his own.
"Oh, um wow." he said running his hand through his hair, actually taking a moment to think about it. Finally deciding (sp)? on an answer, he said - "Instead of my favorite type of music,
how about I tell you the people an bands that are most inspiring." he took a pause to get the answer straight in his mind, and then spoke it. "Muse, is my favorite band. Um, the people I find most inspiring music wise would have to be - Emerson Hart, Paolo Nutini and The Beatles." He said content with his answer.

((heyy, sorry it's been a while, things have been a little crazy around here))

Jane's smile widened at all her said. "Oh, Harry Potter! I know, I've read those books like a million times each, and seen the movie so many times I can recite them from heart." She giggled at what she had just told him, hoping he wouldn't start calling her a freak. "Have you read the Twilight series?" The girl asked her friend as they continued to walk towards where ever they were heading.
Then she just started listening, once more being drawn in by the sound of his voice when he talked. She started to think about just wanting to make him laugh again as he talked, though she did take in everything that Quinzy said. "All of them are good, though I haven't heard of Paolo Nutini before." Jay admitted honestly. "I'll have to look into that." It was more a mental note for herself than a comment to him.
"Ok, you're go." She smiled brightly.

Quinzy smiled when Jay told him that she had watched all of the Harry Potter movies. "Don't worry, I cried when Sirus, Fred AND Prof. Lupin died. So, can't get any more pathetic." Quinzy abruptly stopped when Jay mentioned the Twilight series. He gently grabbed Jay's shoulder and looked deep into her eyes. "About three things I was absolutley positive. First, Edward was a vampire. Second, there was a part of him - that thirsted for my blood. And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him." finishing his quote from the book, his voice got softer and softer after each word. He just wanted to tilt his head and kiss Jay, but they had only met a few hours ago, and he didn't want to speed things up. So, he cleared his throat, and decided to talk about Twilight. Maybe that'll get his fantasies out of his mind for a while. "Yes, I have. And it's my favorite book series. Have you read all of them?" he asked continuing to walk again.

Jay was completely and totally happy. "Tell me about it! I cried when Serious did and OMG, I could barely finished the 6th book after Dumbledore, and the 7th. Yea, that was bad. I think I cried like from the very beginning." She admitted. It seemed pathetic but the girl just wanted him to know all about her and everything.
Then he took her by the shoulders and looked into her eyes, repeating that line. Her heart started beating faster and she just wanted to kiss him, but knew herself better than to do so. "And so the lion fell in love with the lamb." She whispered the tagline softly as he let go of her. "Yea, I have. It tore me to pieces when Edward left!" The girl also admitted then. She didn't care what he thought of her anymore, because they had already become like best friends.

Quinzy laughed when Jay started taking about the reasons why she cried during parts of the Harry Potter books. When he recited that line from Twilight, he thought that Jay's heart beat accelerated, but it just might have been wishful thinking. Jay liked him as a best friend, and that's the way it was gonig to stay. For now at least. "It didn't really surprise me when Edward left. He's always doing drastic things for Bella's own good. Personally, i'm team Jacob." he said holding his hands up in defence. "Don't get me wrong, Edward's hot and everything, but Jacob's a litle more, realistic. A little more real." he said. Quninzy just couldn't take it anymore, he had to kiss Jay. She was amazing, she was everything to him. Regardless of how long they've known eachother. He had to get away for a little while, think about how this was going to work. How he was going to get her off of his mind, which was pretty much impossible. "Listen Jay, I really think I should go and find my dorm. My mom would want an update on my first like .. hour here." Quinzy said glancing at the time on his Iphone. "But i'll definetly see you around. Alright?" He said writting his number down on a spare peice of paper in his duffel bag and handing it to her. He arched his neck just a little to whisper softly into her ear.

"Before you, my life was like a moonless night. Very dark, but there were stars, points of light and reason....And then then you shot across my sky like a meteor. Suddenly everything was on fire; there was brilliancy, there was beauty. When you are gone, when the meteor had fallen over the horizon, everything will go black. Nothing will change, but my eyes were blinded by the light. I won't be able to see start anymore, and there will be no reason for anything." Quinzy finished his last Edward quote from Twilight before lightly kissing Jay on her cheek and walking toward his building.

When Quinzy laughed at all the times that she had cried during the Harry Potter books, Jay blushed in embarrassment. She didn't care though, she wanted to know everything about him, and in turn that meant him knowing everything about her. Then she shrugged at him being Team Jacob. "I personally love both of them. They're both really cool and Bella needs both of them in her life to make her as happy as she can be. I didn't want either of them to die." She said. The girl was just a Team Twilight person; just everything about the book was what she liked. But then he said he should probably go, which made her frown a little. "A-alright. I'll see you around late." She said, watching him as he wrote down his number, and she clutched it in her hand.

However, he didn't leave right away. He leaned closer, and so did she. Jane stood, mesmerized, as Quinzy whispered that line in her. She could barely breath any more and she was so close to just kissing him. In fact, she had turned her head just as he kissed her cheek so that they actually did almost kiss, but his lips didn't meet hers. "Bye." The sound was barely there, but at the same time it was, as she watched him walk off.

Quinzy's mind was racing. Had Jay turned her head on purpose? And if so - why? And if it was because she wanted him to kiss her, why didn't he?! IDIOT! You know that, Quinzy? You're a real dofus. Here you are, with this amazing girl - becoming the best of friends, and you say you have to leave because you have to get things in order?! Are you freakin' insane?!. Quinzy continued to mentally kick himself all the way towards his dorm building.

He reached into his back pocket to find a beaten and scrumpled up peice of paper. His dorm room number. He glanced at it, and started down the hallway until he reached his dorm. ((Usually I would be more specific, but I forgot his dorm number. LOL)) As soon as he got inside, he slammed the door behind him, and shoved his ear buds into his ears, wanting to hear the most hardcore music right now. Maybe Slipknot? Or Rise Against? Yeah. That would do.
Quinzy put his music up to full blast, and fell onto his bed backwards, head facing towards the ceiling. He closed his eyes, and mentally screamed.

What the hell is wrong with you?! She's just a girl you met, a friend. A best friend. You're not supposed to be feeling stuff like this. Get a grip, buddy.
