Well hello there Roleplay Gateway! I am new here, though I've had a profile for a while now. I initially joined looking for literate Werewolf roleplay, but at this point I'm going back to my roots. Fantasy. I had Roleplayed in World of Warcraft for years, in game, in its forums. In various ways. I've roleplayed in a few areas there, I've also explored other Forum roleplaying sites, but my experinces are limited in that regard.

I am seeking Fantasy roleplay, prefferably Dark Fantasy. I like my Fantasy with some dark, blood encrusted edges. ;) I have also always liked playing villains. It's challenging, but always fun, I have no problems dieing, so long as my character had a good long run of tormenting our beloved heroes.

I of course enjoy a lot of Roleplays in a fantasy setting, from J.R.R. Tolkeins kind of writtings, to R.A. Salvatore. Even some historical fiction when the mood strikes me! I digress, I am rambling. I hope to become an active member of this site, make some friends, and share a lot of fun!

WoW has a roleplaying forum? xD Awesome. I actually got my start on Runescape's roleplaying forum, if you can believe it. The community there wasn't bad. It taught me some of the fundamentals that I still use to this very day.

Anyways, here at RPGateway you'll find that an extremely wide range of roleplays are available, at your disposal! Don't be afraid to branch out from the things you love most. That said, I'm sure you'll be able to find tons of Dark Fantasy roleplays. Bloody edges are always the best, huh?

It does! I haven't been on them in a while, and roleplaying wasn't there a lot, but it DID happen, sometimes it wasn't so great, others it was amazing! Runescape? I never played it, though WoW did the same for me that it did for you by the sounds of it.

Oh I intend to, I enjoy many kinds of RP as well, Westerns, Werewolves, Vampires, plenty. I simply just adore darker roleplays. I think the edges really are, they add a nice bit of spice to it, and more fear, and excitment. In my modest opinion, of course.

Yeah, I have. I'm a long-time member that's just gotten back from a hefty sabbatical, so I'm getting back into the swing of things. I actually just posted a new roleplay called YOU HAVE TO BURN THE ROPE, so you can check it out if you want.

It's intentionally simple, meant to be a departure from how we all usually get tied up in plot and frustration - so much so that in some cases, roleplays don't even get started. :c That, and I was inspired to make it by a pretty awesome flash game!

My favorite, favorite, favorite setting to write is gritty, in-yer-face urban fantasy. However, I simply adore the idea of westerns, and I can handle vampire and werewolves, actually. I'm a versatile writer. Setting doesn't matter so much as character to me.
