Tetra (wind weaker) = Zelda (wind weaker)

Zelda (wind weaker) = Zelda (Ocarina of Time)

Zelda (Ocarina of Time) = Sheik (Ocarina of Time)

Sheik (Ocarina of Time) = Ninja

Pirate = Ninja

correct, this isn't 4chan, nor did i even mention anything about this being portrayed of 4Chan, so there is no 4Chan relations. Just the saying that indeed Pirates = ninja's and Vise versa,

I believe that pirates and ninjas are equal in coolness.

This is not really an argument, just a list I'd like to be expanded.
I'm going on high skill level pirates/ninjas here:
Pirates -- Pros
-Cool outfit
-Firepower
-Rum
-Intercontinental mobility
-Shiny stuff
-Minions

Ninjas -- Pros
-Stealth
-Hand to hand combat skills
-Nearly impossible to find/catch
-Sniping
-Independence
-If you get stiffed, you can assassinate your previous employer
(yeah, fewer than pirates, but stealth and combat cover a lot)

Pirates -- Cons
-A pirate without a ship is just a petty thief*
-Hard to know who to trust
-Easy to get painted into a corner
-How do you escape from a sinking ship? A ninja could do it. Without going to his enemy's ship.

Ninjas -- Cons
-No social life
-Must train constantly to keep skills honed
-Can't show off

*Unless he's played by Johnny Depp. Then he's a pretty thief.

Did I miss anything? I have a feeling this list will grow...

if pirate equals ninja then I guess next Ill be told that saiyans=jedi and vampires=werewolves. However this is not really a place to be talking about such things, fishy sticks on the other hand....

Vampires and werewolves are closer than pirates and ninjas. But not the same thing. For one, vampires are infinitesimally more awesome. (OK, that's overstating it a bit, I admit it.)

And what's a saiyan?

A Saiyan. It's a made up super being from the anime Dragon Ball Z. A being from another planet who shoots energy beams, flies, can change into a giant monkey among other things.

Firstly, this concept seems... a bit absurd to me. If you follow the logic of that wonderful chart, I'm sure that somehow, someway, probably after quite a while, you could make a fish be the same as a tennis racket or something of the sort.

On another note, I have to agree with DCLXVI. Vampires are better. Much.

Oh GAWD I am so tired of this lame fanboy argument. (I hate vampires as much as I hate ninjas and pirates, too. I've never seen such a useless source of bickering.) People use cartoons and movies to make their judgments, rather than reality, so it's all equally lame.

to my knowledge there are four kinds of ninja:
1) the ancient japenese warriors( aka real ninja)
2) the completely exaggearted chuck norris esque and Ask A Ninja style interent ninja
3) the slightly less exagerated Magic ninja ( aka manga ninja)
4) the guys black pajamas that are beat up in kung fu movies and are ussualy used as minions

i dont really go on either side because it's most over used internet meme this side of Chuck Norris but then again a pirate vs ninja dodge ball game so I guess it can't be stoped.
