Jeff decided it was time to find something to do that would entertain him for a while. he decided that he would go to his room and look out at the sky. even though that had almost the same effect as being on the roof, he was going to try it. "eh, what the hell. gotta do it sometime." said Jeff. once he got to his room, he opened the window and sat down on his bed, freezing when he saw the clouds, and the sky. since his room was on the fourth floor, he ended up also looking down, which scared him even more. "look what you did now" thought Jeff, thinking this was his big mistake of the day. he proceeded to fall onto the floor, fainting.

The bell for the end of class rang and Temperance was close to running out of the classroom. She'd gotten called to the front of the room about her arm and had received many stares, but not much sympathy. All she wanted to do was to run to Darius and have him make it all better. Today was not the day for people to messing with her, considering her emotions were wack.

As she fast walked towards her dorm to put her books away, she saw the door of one standing open. She looked in curiously and saw an unconscious Jeff on the floor, window open. Shit, Jeff! she thought, dropping her things and running over to him. Temperance checked his pulse, shut the window, and re checked his vitals. He was still breathing, but he wouldn't wake up. She certainly couldn't move him, nor could she provided CPR if needed. She decided to place a pillow under his head and attempt to wake him up. Okay, a couple slaps across the face should do it...

"human, stop, i was having such a nice dream..." said Jeff yawning as he woke up from a nice dream about his friends. "oh, its temp.should have locked the door. oh well. Thanks for coming and waking me up, nice to know theres someone who doesn't hate me..." said Jeff. He then went to his closet, got out his guitar and plugged it into the amp sitting beside his bed. " any requests? how about... 'stairway to heaven" said jeff.

Though she found Jeff funny, right now she was very flustered with him. "How about you stop trying to intentionally kill yourself? Jeff, why were looking out the window? You know you have a fear of heights!"

Darius had just gotten out of American Hsitory and just wanted to go back to his dorm and play Halo 2 and of course play with Temperance. He carried his books in an old green and black backpack. He made his way to his dorm on the third floor and unlocked the door with his key and threw his books on the couch. He pulled out a Mountain Dew Voltage out of the fridge and turned on his 360. "Finally some relaxation. I should probably wait for Temperance before I start anything. Oh wait..I have an idea, I'll throw her a welcoming party." Darius had a small oven and cake mix that he borught from home considering he loves cake, and he had a small tube of buttercreme icing. Het put it in the oven at 350. but unfortuanetely he had to wait for 45 minutes.

After 45 minutes the cake was ready and iced it spelling out Temperance on the cake with chocolate icing over buttercreme icing. Then he put it in the fridge and waited for Temperance, he was actually starting to wonder where she was.

"Look, Jeff, nevermind. Right now, my arm is throbbing, and I have a date that I'm late for. See you later," she said coldly, walking out the door. She grabbed her stuff and stormed out the door. Shit, I'm late, I'm late, I'm late! Temperance thought starting to run to the third floor. She knocked on the door a few times, fixing her hair and clothes fervently with her good arm.

Darius heard the knocks and freaked. He combed his hair and put on a non school clean green shirt and answered the door "Hey Temp come on in I have a suprise for you." he said with a smile. "Dont mind the mess, welcome home Temp."

jeff though to himself "just trying to do some experiments". what he was trying to do was face his fears, so to speak. he was trying to figure out just what he was afraid of. he didn't really want to kill him self, but rather just be scared for a little while. or a long wile. he would rather not scare anyone again, so without looking out the window, he shut the blinds.he then got onto google images, and looked at a picture of the school from the sky.it was very detailed. he could even see little people outside. but all the while, he was amazed, seeing that normally this would scare him. but not allot, just a little. this time, he was just amazed.

A dreamy Darius answered the door, Temperance immediately throwing her hand down and smiling. He had on a green shirt and a charming smile to match. Green is definitely his color! Temperance thought, taking in everything about him. "Hey, Temp, come on in; I have a surprise for you," he said, his voice gently caressing her ears. "Don't mind the mess; welcome home, Temp." She smiled brightly and walked in, surveying everything about the place. A nice, comfy couch, XBOX 360, nice television, pretty clean. "Darius, this is no mess. You should have seen my room. Let's just say a tornado ran through about two times a week, the mess never getting cleaned up." She realized she was babbling, so she smiled, shoving her good hand into her pocket. "So, you said you had a surprise for me?"

Darius laughed, "Well actually...this is just the living room my room is a mess. I would love to see your room tomorrow." Darius looked at Temperance, she looked absolutely stunning her hair was perfectly straight and smelled awesome. "You bet I do!" he said with a goofy smile. "It's in the kitchen come on I'll show you." He led her into the kitchen and showed her the cake. Darius put his arm around her good arm "So what do you think Temp?"

"I would love to see your room tomorrow," Darius said, smile on his face. Temperance winked, biting her lip. "You bet I do! It's in the kitchen; come on, I'll show you," Darius said excitedly, a cute, goofy smile on his face. She followed him to the kitchen, where he pulled a cake from the fridge. After placing it on the counter, Temperance came close to look at it. Extreme emotion came over her; he was so sweet! "Awww, Darius!" she exclaimed, covering her mouth with her good hand. "You made this for me?" Tempy asked, leaning into his arm, which was around her shoulder.

"Yeah, how could I not? Your the sweetest person I know!" Darius kissed her cheek "I hope you like it." Temperance leaned onto him and he blushed and held her with his left arm.

"You're the sweetest person I know!" Darius exclaimed and kissed her cheek. "I hope you like it." Temperance stared at the cake, her cheeks cherry red, heart ablaze. "Like it, Darius, I LOVE it!" She leaned into him more, looking up at him. "Thank you, Darius. You are the sweetest, most caring guy ever. I'm not the best girl out there, but no one could ask for a better guy than you." She spun so she was standing in front of him, facing him, gazing into his eyes.

Tempy knew she wasn't going to cry, too over-emotional, but boy, was heart a-melting!! How couldn't it when she was near gorgeous Darius? Just look at those eyes, Tempy! So deep and brilliant! And that face! How could it get any better? she thought to herself. His cheeks were a reddish pink, his eyes deep and excited, his cheeks holding an everlasting smile. Oh, mama mia! she thought and sighed.

"eh, hmmm, wonder what their doing in Darius' dorm... best not go and find out. they would kill me." thought Jeff, getting up and shutting down his expensive laptop. with that he headed to find someone to hang out with. once he got to the second floor this kid came up to him and stuffed a paper down Jeff's shirt. with that,Jeff did a uppercut into the kids jaw, probably breaking it, took out his staff, and smashed the kids skull. "not exactly what i was thinking of but that works..." thought Jeff.

Thanks Temp I'm really glad you love it! he said with a smile. Temperance I am not the sweetest guy ever, you just bring out those feelings in me, so therefore I think you are the best person I know, no one compares to your sweet words." Then Temperance was looking straight at him, he looked into her eyes, they held beauty and mystery, humor, passion, everything he could ever want in a girl. Her face shone with a bright beauty that he had never seen in anybody. He sighed at the same time she did and laughed a little bit.

"T-Temperance can I ask you something?"

"Temperance, I am not the sweetest guy ever; you just bring out those feelings in me, so therefore I think you are the best person I know. No one compares to your sweet words." As Temperance moved in front of Darius, she said, "Aww, Darius, I believe you are. I'm sure any girl would be luckier than lucky to have you by their side. Don't say you're not because you are." Darius smiled back at her and even laughed a little. Tempy's smile got bigger.

"T-Temperance, can I ask you something?" he asked hesitantly. Temp was a little confused, but just answered, "Of course, shoot!"

"Okay here goes..Temperance will you go out with me?"

"Okay here goes," Darius started nervously. "Temperance, will you go out with me?" At first, Temperance was shocked, but immediately smiled even wider. "Of course I will!" she exclaimed.

Darius blushed a dark red "T-Thanks Temp..." I-I..." He kissed her suddenly with feeling.

"T-Thanks, Temp...I-I..." was all Darius said as he suddenly embraced her, gentle with her arm, and kissed her, immense feeling becoming apparent. Temperance kissed back, emotion flowing through her, her blood puslating, her heart melting with every millisecond, her good hand on the back of his neck, her lips tasting his sweet peppermint lips. She relished it for a moment, then pulled away. A sly grin grew on her face as she played with Darius. "Whoa, mister! Not so fast! You know the rules: no kissing before the first date," she said teasingly, attempting to keep a straight face. Tempy saw the confusion deep in his eyes and winked, smiling.
