I'll give this a go, though I warn you that my knowledge of Norse mythology isn't vast. And I might just differ a bit from your restrictions IW, if ever they were such things, rather than guidelines.

Name: Finreyr
Age: How long does a Dvergar live ?
Homeland: Denmark
Race: Dvergar
Profession: Warrior, smith and slightly berserk at times.
Appearance: Finreyr stands at a respectable 5"3', slightly short for his race, but he makes up for this with his well-muscled build, his pale skin not stretched over masses of muscles however. His large face is covered at the bottom in a dark grey beard, reaching just underneath his neck. He has two braids that come out of it. The dwarf's hair, also an ashen colour, has a few braids dangling around, and falls between his shoulder blades, only the very end finishing in a ponytail.
His deep-set eyes of a dark, ocean blue hold an experience that many younglings come to seek, and the eyebrows that cover them seem like the froth created by the constant unrest of the sea.
Finreyr wears a lamellar leather cuirass around his chest, a thin suit of mail covering his forearms and thighs underneath it. The ends of the leather straps that hold his armor in place dangle at his side, purposefully made long to billow when the dwarf moves. Underneath this, the dvergar wears a simple white wool shirt, leather bands attached at the elbows. He wears thick, dark green woollen trousers on his legs, the ends held against his shins by leather puttees, and his feet covered in leather boots, the gaiter part covered in goat skin for added warmth. His rough hands, tough and battered from his life as both a warrior and smith, are covered in thick brown wool gloves, patches of leather expertly sewn on the top and bottom of the hand, and the top of his fingers, allowing for a great ease of movement.
Clasped around his neck, and held on his shoulders, is a thick green cloak, falling to his shins. Finreyr's cloak has a wolf pelt sewn to the top, the mouth sewn on the thick hood, and the front paws resting across his torso. The white pelt keeps him warm and holds a certain sentimental value, being the first of such a beast he killed.
Weapons and Armor: Around his waist is a large belt, upon which Finreyr carries his money and his herbs pouch, some miscellaneous equipment such as flint and a whetstone, and the holster for his axe (wielded two-handed usually). The finely crafted weapon, made by himself, has a slightly curved oak handle, the base wrapped in an elaborately patterned set of leather strips. The axe's head is quite bearded, and one-sided. The other side is a longish spike, not unlike a pickaxe, both for combat use and utility work.
Across his chest is sheathed his seax, held in a patterned, lacquered wood scabbard. The dwarf also carries a gutting knife holstered across his right thigh. On his back is a bandoleered quiver and shortbow, strung and often used.
Bio: ((Not knowing exactly how dwarves even come into existence, and how they interact with the world around them, even their own dwellings, I do not know quite how to fill this category. Suffice to say that Finreyr is a willing and able warrior, cherished for his experience and battle-knowledge, a fine drinking partner, and an excellent smithy. He is also a keen wanderer, scouring the frost covered plains of the Norseland, finding solace in the pearl-white beauty of the landscape, that stretches over and across the horizon. [Ooh, very poetic ...] If you could fill me in on this Irish Wolf I would be most grateful.))

Now also, do I make him a stereotypical Dwarf that drinks, burps, drinks some more, gets into a fight and then curses a lot in massacred English, or do I make him speak normally, even sophisticatedly. Also, the big debate about whether THEY created the Humans akin to THEIR image, or if Humans created the DVERGAR akin to THEIR image, makes it harder to accurately build up his character. But I think I'll step away from the usual rude and drunk Dwarf and go for a more refined one, unless tha' bothers ye' ?!

Feel free to point out any gripes that you may encounter whilst reading Finreyr's profile.
