Xersist has had me restart the thread. Fear not, for he will be monitoring and I will take suggestions from him.

OK this story will simply start out with you lying in your bed, sitting in your chair, whatever, thinking about last night. Last night you found yourself lying in a large empty warehouse, with a bunch of other teens about your age, all waking up at the same time. Its late and you head back home, thinking it was all a dream. You wake up the next day and realize you have superpowers. What will you do with this new found ability. Help the weak, take revenge, fight for justice, get what you need, stay the same,or change everything around you. Apparently the power is in your hand, what you do with it is up to you.

The Setting is taken place in Denver,Colorado, I just thought that his place need a few good heroes, and villains. I don't know, New York was getting kinda crowded, Damn Spidey, . The year is later on, lets say 2016, not to close to expect whats gonna happen, but not to far off to say its Sci-fi. Just kinda snug in the middle.

Plot, for right now that's a close secret, for right now I'm just gonna let your characters flow out, and deal with life with a new twist. Make it exciting, fight crime, steal money, save a kitty, whatever you think your character will do. But trust me the plot will come in.


Rules- (You knew this was coming, but its only nine steps to success. You can do it!)
1. No Godmodding, or Godding , meaning you can’t have super god moves. Like invincibility or saying that you can out last a nuke.
2. No bashing in the OOC forum
3. Keep the Romance at PG-13, though Romance is somewhat encourage, make it sound reasonable, and not too mushy or fake. Oh ya and don’t rush it, keep it nice a slow, that makes it seem more realistic, than the crap I usually see on this site.
4. You cannot kill anyone without the other player’s consent
5. Post must have at least two to three sentences. A mere phrase or comment will not work here.
6. If you have a problem with another player, take it up with me, and please try not to quit.
7. If you want to play you must be up for at least ten posts. Even if you don’t like it anymore, and you must put in a reason for your absence, like death or something along those lines.
8. Created NPC, or new Characters must be asked first, I’ll will be giving questions about goals and plot relevance, so don’t be making crap bad guys.
9. You cannot join unless accepted by me, no jumping in at random, or you will be kick.

Character Sheet.- This is going to be in depth, so I want you to answer a lot of questions, that will help you understand your character more. Red means they are a must have, green means you can pass.

Back story- (Doesn't have to bee long, but please make it a goodin. But keep it simple we're in Modern America, and we're Teenagers make it make since. There is no need for a power backstory, that will be explained in the over all plot. Just no that you got it one day and you cant remember why. )

Power-Zachary can turn parts of his body into liquid metal. He can even condense himself down into a puddle of liquid metal. However, he cannot cross grates and gaps while in puddle form and his powers have to recharge when used offensively
The K Factor-Ice can freeze him solid, trapping him in his puddle state and rendering his powers useless.
Alignment so far-Neutral
Back story-Zack has always been your garden-variety hoodlum. He shoplifts, steals cars, sprays graffiti, and occasionally gets in fights. However, due to the relative harmlessness of his crimes, the police have left him alone for the most part. That changed one day. Zack and a buddy named Joe got mixed up with a real bad crowd, and Joe ended up dead in an alley. Zack's parents quickly packed up and moved out, choosing to move to Denver. Within months of moving to Denver, Zack had already racked up arrests doing the same things he's always done.

Power- Teleportation, He can only teleport if he can see his destination, and distance is a factor meaning it's harder to do if it's farther away.
The K Factor- He is still vulnerable to average lethal acts such as a bullet wound.

Back story- Jessie loved surfing before he moved to Denver, now he freezes his butt off at home. Never really makes a lot of friends, never really wanted to either. Always one to cop up an attitude, he hates any authority over him. Surprising he stays out of trouble for the most part, but only because he rarely gets caught. He has a dysfunctional family and is usually seen with his gang. His best friend and older step bro, Wade, is almost always with him and if he isn't people know somethings up.

Hair style and Color-Long auburn/brown hair that falls to just below her shoulder blades in waves that can't seem to chose to be curly or straight. Usually pulled back in a messy bun.

Power-Pyrokensis. Abby can create and control fire and it cannot burn her or the clothing on her body if she choses to protect it. She can also focus her power to her hands and feet to use it like a jet but that won't keep her in the air long and will drain her fast.
The K Factor- Water and lack of oxygen. Fire cannot be without air to fuel it, and if she is in water she cannot create fire, at least not easily. If she heats herself up enough she can walk threw shallow water (puddle sized more like it) without getting wet. If there is a blast of water at her she can counter it with fire but must be stronger and last longer.
Alignment so far- Vengeful
Clothes type-She is really open to anything. She'll wear clothing from Kohl's, to Hot Topic to J Crew. Although she is usually found in black and ripped up jeans.
Music- Rock; Goo Goo Dolls, Linkin' Park, Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, Third Eye Blind, etc...
Back story- Abby is youngest of three children. Her mother is weak, and does exactly what she is told. Abby's step-father, is a bastard who uses and abused her mother to his own accord. When Abby was 7 her father was killed in a car wreck. Her mom and two older sisters were a wreck and Abby fell into a depression. As much as her mom hid it, she did too, and brought home Paul. Things went to hell from there. Now, Abby's oldest sister, Rachel, is gone. She left home the day she turned 18. Liz is still at home. On drugs, and already has a 2 year old of her own. Liz is only 2 years older then Abby, and 2 younger then Rachel was. Making her 16 when she had Brian.
Paul still beats her mom. Sometimes, when her mom is too bruised to move, sexually uses Liz, and sometime Abby. If they try to fight he threatens Brian or their mothers life. Forcing them to listen. Now, the day Abby turned 18, she's about to walk out, when things... suddenly went black...

Power- He can increase the speed of his actions. Pros: He can run, fight, do chores, etc. at superspeed. Cons: His powers have a draining effect and require a cooldown time in order to return to normal.
The K Factor- Electrical attacks are very damaging to Adam. They disrupt his powers and make the cooldown time faster than it normally would be depending on the severity of the shock. If the shock is severe enough, his heart could stop.
Alignment so far- Neutral - he is still trying to grasp his powers and his true self
Clothes type- He doesn't have a specific place he likes to get his clothes more than others. Most often, he wears short- or long-sleeve shirts that have rock/hard rock/metal bands on them (i.e.: Led Zeppelin, Disturbed, Slipknot, etc.). He wears baggy jeans, differing in color from blue to black. While wearing short-sleeve shirts, it isn't uncommon for him to wear a spikeband on his right wrist. He also often wears, mainly generic, hooded sweatshirts. His shoes vary from day to day. Sometimes he wears black hi-top shoes and other days he wears black skater shoes.
Music- Adam is a rocker and loves rock/hard rock/metal. He likes classic and new both, but he prefers new over classic. His favorite band is Breaking Benjamin.
Back story- Adam is just your average high school student. He goes to school, plays video games, and does his homework just like every other student. Together with three of his good friends, he formed a band known as Anti. Adam is the lead singer and the backup/rhythm guitarist. The band is, essentially, a garage band looking for recognition. They do, however, have a small following. Most of their work is covers, but they are currently working on new material for a potential release of an album.

Hair Style and Color: Long black hair usually tied up in a braid

Eye Color: Grey

Blood Type: A

Power- Freeze: Donni can freeze any liquid that is capable of freezing, plus perform various attacks and tricks involving ice or cold, including dropping her own body temperature and forming weapons out of ice. For her ice tricks to work, however, she needs some kind of water or liquid around, including water vapor in the air. The dryer it is, the harder it is for her to come up with anything and the ice will tend to be weak and easier to break. If it's really that dry, she'll either have to find some liquid to work with or be out of luck.

The K Factor: Donni already hated the heat, but is now so hypersensitive to it, she practically wilts. It zaps her energy and, of course, heat can put a real damper on ice tricks if it keeps melting them.

Alignment So Far: Neutral- The whole superhero idea scares her some, but since law enforcement is in her blood, she can't really rule it out.

Clothes Type: Basically lives in jeans and t-shirts. However, she has some constants in a pair of black workboots, a bandana around the neck (any color), and a black jacket.

Music: Country and any kind of rock, but she's also developed a taste for the louder, heavy metal rock. (That's about the only good thing she found in moving to the city.)

Back story: Donni had originally been born in a rural town in the mountians, but was moved to Denver with her family when she was thirteen and her dad found a job in the city. She responded by not adjusted to her new surroundings too well. In high school, she's a decent student, but has a nasty temper, argues all the time, and gets in her fair share of fights.

Donnis just hates the city and all the people in it. Growing up helping on neighbors' farms, Donni thinks city people are lazy, vain, selfish, and generally a bunch of lowlife sheep who expect everyone to act like them and shun everyone who doesn't. She's responded in kind by not wanting anything to do with the jocks and the little preppy drama queens or anyone else she has to deal with in school.

Power- Basic invisibility- but as well she can make herself faintly appear- like an apparition or ghost. But in both forms, she cannot attack or touch anything, she is unable to be touched as well.
The K Factor- When she becomes solid again, after about ten minutes, she can get dizzy or sick/ as well she can have trouble becoming seen again once invisible.
Alignment so far- nuetral, soon to be bad,
Clothes type: Volcom, Roxy, Billabong, Hot Topic and Pac Sun- store choices.

Back story- Ari lived a basic life, living in a middle class home in Patterson. After a while, her parents had left her to go to the see the doctor, they were in a car wreck; both dying. Ari then went to Denver recently to live with her aunt.
Her aunt seems to be away all the time, and seems to be involved in drugs. Things got worse, and Ari usually spends her nights at parties, or staying with friends, unable to face her aunt's bad habits.

Power- transform his arm into a machine that can provide him with any type of gadget that he needs (such as hammers, screw drivers, nail gun, etc.). Pro: This provides with all the tools that he needs to create machines, weapons, explosives, and so on. he can even use tools, like the nail gun, to attack people. Con: he is as valuable as a human, and he can't create weapons out of thin air, he needs something (like metal or iron) to create things. He can't just make a gun that works perfectly, he needs to know how it functions, what the different parts of the gun will do, etc.
The K Factor- he has the same vulnerabilities as a human.
Alignment so far- anything for survival for him and his farther.
Clothes type- He wears loose hip hop clothes, but he doesn't over do the looseness of his clothes (he doesn't have his pants below his butt at all), he really doesn't have a brand.
Music- He listens to Linkin Park, Entwine, Meaning of Life/Get Psycho, Manowar, Dream Evil, and whatever that has rock in it.

Back story- Oskar Summer is half Danish, half American, but his parents got divorced, so he decided to live with his American farther, who ran a small Car Repair shop, where Oskar often came and helped his dad. Oskar, was known for being in some really bad company, always getting himself into trouble, making graphite, stealing, he drinks, and smokes when he feels the need to keep the feelings down. He rarely pays attention in classes, if at all, he always getting the lowest grade in the class, he once stole an example of the final, that had the answers, and sold copies to everyone in his class.
Since he has been such a trouble maker for the school, he has been kicked out, and his doesn't bother looking for a new school for him, he thinks that is it a great opportunity for Oskar to get to know how it is to live in the real world.
Despite coming into so much trouble, Oskar cares highly for his dad, who have troubles getting money for a local gang, and to keep business running, so Oskar helps his dad as much as he can during the weekdays, but the weekends are always his time to hang out with his 'friends'.
When he takes a shower with loud music playing, it is a sign that he is stressed, and wants to be left alone while he showers and his dad respects that.

Yes, it is because of the power. It's also because you apparently cannot come up with a backstory. Work on those things, and we'll see.

Back story-There's not much to tell about him he gets average grades has an average life looks about average the only thing that separates him from the crowd is his Greek looks and even then it's not by much so he's exceptionally average which compared to the people he hangs out with is the weirdest thing in the world.
