Donni shrugged at the comment about the drinks. They were pretty much the only drink there, so she drank it. She wasn't expecting much from this school anyway. As long as it wasn't killing her, what did she care?

"Hey, you want to dance?"

Donni looked up at Chris, a bit unsure, saying, "Well, I can't really dance that good at all...Might as well, though, not much else to do here."

Daniel had only gone "home" to change into the only suit he had. It was black and he wore a white shirt, black trousers, and purple tie with it. He had set off to the party at ten and walked there. When he got there he felt like turning back. He could hear the heavy rock music being played and he could hear the drums echoing into his ears. He was suprised to find bouncers at the place though. He was dispointed as they couuld ruin the evening for himso he nudged into one of them as he walked inside.

Straight away as he walked inside he went to the beverage table. He noticed the punch at the side and took a small cup off it. As he drunk it he noticed it had an unusual taste he swirled it around in his mouth and swallowed it.

"Well... I'll say... That this stuffs pretty damn good." He said then laughing to himself.

Jessie heard the dj change up the song. It went from heavy metal to techno, Combichrist to be exact.
Jessie started dancing to the trance music while the strobe lights kicked in. All they needed now was some glowsticks and it be a decent rave.

He took one last swig finishing off the weird drink before going back to dancing. He contemplated taking a smoke but he didn't want to get thrown out be those bouncers.

Ayden finally got to the party. She saw some bouncers out side, but they didn't scare her. she just walked inside and over to the refreshments table. She was thirsty and the only thing she saw was some punch. She picked a cup up and drank it. She noticed it had a funny drink, but she didn't care. She was just thirsty from walking all the way there.
"Who made this punch?" Ayden said to herself swhile making a funny face. "It's probobly the worst drink I've ever tasted." She said while putting the cup back down.

OOC: I'm changing Chris's name to Chad to avoid confusion. Hope it's not a problem for anyone.

Peter and Chad walk through the halls, spotting someone handing out fliers that say "Summer Bash".

"Summer Bash, huh? Sounds pretty wicked. I think we should go."

"Yeah Pete, let's go. I'll drive."

Peter and Chad both grab a flier, and head home to get ready for the party.

--------

A few hours later, Chad pulls up to Peter's house in his father's car.

"Come on Pete, let's go!"

Peter runs out and hops in the car.

Some time later, Chad and Peter arrive at the party, spotting bouncers at the front door.

This must be a hell of a party, Chad thought.

Peter and Chad walk through the doors, to find people already there.

"Looks like we're a little late, eh Chad?"

Chad looks at the punch.

"That stuff is NASTY. Looks like a mixture of motor oil and cough syrup..."

"Could be worse, man. There could be PARENTS monitoring us or something."

"Yeah. We should introduce ourselves or something..."

Peter and Chad walk over to Chris.

"Hey dude, what's your name?"

"I'm Chad, and this is my buddy Pete."

"So, what's going on? I didn't hear anything about this party before I saw that guy handing out fliers..."

Donni's nervousness about dancing was lessened a bit when a couple other kids walked over and introduced themselves. She tried to watch Chris to see if he was dissapointed at having his vibe wreaked by newcomers showing up, but it was hard to see since he wasn't quite facing her. Then again, he started the conversation, so it couldn't have jarred him too much.

Meanwhile, the song that had been playing before finished and was replaced by one of those techno-dance numbers. She listened to it, still trying to figure it out. How is this a "dance" song if you can't really dance to it? It's too fast and too irratic. All you can do is jump up and down and hope enough people around you are doing it so you don't look like an idiot.

"So, what's going on? I didn't hear anything about this party before I saw that guy handing out fliers..."

Something about that comment woke her up. Now that she thought of it....Usually, if something's going on, the school will be wallpapered with posters. The flyer for this party was so colorful, it would be hard to miss on the walls or lockers or even the bulletin board, as crowded as it can get. She took a look at the kids there. There weren't nearly as many as would usually attend a party like this. The whole school should be here. While it meant she wouldn't be overrun with the little harpies she hated so much, it also looked just a little strange to her...

Squeal Sasha's brakes screeched as she slowed to a stop in front of the hall where the supposed dance was to be held. She had debated on going when the strange guy handed her the brightly colored flier earlier in the day, but now, looking at the old building guarded by bouncers, she was beginning to have second thoughts. Sasha glanced down at the flier in her hand. Yup, sure enough, this was the correct address. She groaned, and turned her car into a nearby parking place. If it weren't for the loud music blaring from the building, Sasha would have turned back home. The parking lot was nearly deserted, save for a handful of cars; a couple of which had a layer of dirt so thick on the windshields, that it was apparent that they had been parked and abandoned for some time.

Well it was now or never. Sasha had only been in town for a few months, and so far she hadn't made any friends. Hopefully the dance would change that. She took a deep breath, locked her car, and headed towards the entrance. She half expected the bouncers to stop her as she approached, but they simply took a glance at her and waived her in. hmm, strange Sasha thought.

Once inside the hall, Sasha noticed only a couple of people scattered in the room, and a refreshment table scooted in a far corner of the room. Nice She thought, I am getting a little thirsty. Sasha put on a look of confidence as she strolled to the table. There were some chips and cookies, and a large bowl of punch in a strange pink color. Sasha served herself a glass of the cold liquid, and she examined it. It swirled in a strange pattern, and smelled rather odd. Actually she wasn't really sure how to describe the smell, but it didn't seem harmful. She took a large swig of the drink. Hmm...sweet, fruity almost, kind of like... Suddenly a sour look crossed Sasha's face, and she resisted the urge to spit it out. She reluctantly swallowed the foul juice, and gagged. "Ugh, what the heck is this stuff?"

Sasha glanced around the room once more. Other students were drinking the same stuff, including a quiet-looking girl. Sasha walked up to the girl and asked "Hey, um, I'm kinda new. Is this sort of party common for the school? I mean no one's here. Also, what's up with the funky punch?"

Daniel sat drinking the punch. He observed the other people dancing to the techno music and thought they must be crazy. he stood back up and took more of the drink and drank it all in one go. He poured so more into his cup and after drinking four cups he decided to quit. He looked at the food table and went down it looking for something to eat.

"Crap. Crap. Crap. Crap. Crap." He said loudly as he walked down the table.

The bell rang an hour almost an hour ago. Derek sat at the desk reading a Clive Cussler novel.

“Ok, times up.” Ms. Thornton said as she rose from her desk.

Derek closed the book and headed for the door. He said goodbye to the teacher than made his way to his locker. He grabbed his skates from the bottom and his Ipod from the top shelf. He walked to the exit doors while selecting Alice Cooper from his music list. “Schools Out” played in his ears as he put his skates on.

He rolled through the parking lot and grabbed a flier that was being handed out to the few students who were leaving. “Summer Bash? Why not, you only live once.”

<><><>

He looked down at the flier sitting on the passenger seat as he pulled into the parking area. He could see bouncers at the door. “This must be the place.” He parked the car then walked up to the bouncers who moved aside to let him through. The party was well under way it seemed. People were dancing and mingling to a techno beat. He made his way to the refreshment table surprised to see very little in the way of food or drink. There was punch at least.

He grabbed a cup and dipped the ladle into the odd colored mixture. He downed it in one gulp which he immediately regretted. “What the hell is this stuff?” There were people all around and they seemed to be enjoying it. He dipped the ladle in again and filled his cup. He scanned the room seeing familiar faces but not knowing any of them. Being a Maverick had its downsides. He people watched while absent mindedly drinking the punch.

"Well, might as well see if it's actually drinkable..."

Peter takes a glass of punch and struggles it down.

"Yuck! It tastes as bad as it looks!"

"It's all there is, man. Might as well try and deal with it."

Peter and Chad grab a glass of punch and head over to where everyone else is standing.

"What the hell is up with this music? Who actually likes this techno crap?"

"It's not like we get to choose. Though, maybe the DJ does requests..."

Donni was still glancing around at the other people. Again, she noticed the smaller crowd and the general lack of airheads and overly loud, horny jocks. On the one hand, she was grateful to have a party that wasn't on the brink of being ruined by that. On the other hand, she still couldn't get over the mention of this party barely being advertised.

The mention of the DJ doing requests made Donni cringe a bit. She noticed she was being looked at kind of funny. She shook her head and replied, "the last itme I went to a school party that did requests, this one group of girls kept sending their buddies up to request the same song for them over and over again. They must have played it ten times through the whole night."

Donni shrugged. "They never have my kind of stuff anyway."

Jessie heard something of Dj request over the awesome bass that was playing.
He thought it over and decided that if he was going to request anything it was going to be Bombastic by Shaggy.
He doubted that any of the snooby crowd would appreciate the reggae but frankly he didn't care.
This was a party after all and he decided he was going to enjoy it and if that meant at the expense of others so be it.
He continued to jam with the techno as it picked up pace, another one of his favorite Combichrist songs,This Shit Will Fuck You Up.
This party was just getting started.

Still listening to the music, Donni just kept shaking her head at it. She still didn't know how you were supposed to dance to it. By now, she had gone half-numb from the speakers being cranked up. It was a wonder anyone could keep up a conversation with all this going on, but she'd apparently adjusted and could hear people talking. As long as they were right next to her.

She shook her head again and snuck back over to the refreshment table to see what there was to eat. As much as she didn't want to, she took another drink of punch. It was just too hot in here, she needed something to drink cause her throat was hurting her from the dryness, and there was nothing else available.

Alex peddled as hard as he could, his bike was old and flaked with rust but it was his only means of transportation.Getting off his bike he was about to chain it to the bike rack when he felt someone grab him from behind and cover his face with a rag.He heard some noises and then he felt somebody ramming him into the bike rack.He moaned and lay there for a while until the pounding had gone down, struggling to his feet he looked around and moaned again when he realized that his bike was gone.Turning he walked into the nearest place he could find immediately he realized that everybody could tell he wasn't one of them they either got away from him gave him hauty looks and turned their backs on him,or they eyed him warily but stayed around looking at himself he could see why his black shirt was ripped diagonally and his jeans were covered in dirt.

After another drink of the God-awful punch they'd served and a couple cookies, Donni was getting a bit irritated with the endless stream of techno "dance" music. "Dance" music was still the biggest ovymoron she'd ever heard and hearing it on a constant loop, and watching people trying to "dance" to it wasn't changing her mind.

She remembered the suggestion of there being a request list and decided to see if they might have one. Carrying another glass of punch, it was still too hot in here and her stomache could handle damn near anything she handed to it, she weaved her way through the crowds of "dancing" jumping kids and chatting gangs to reach the DJ.

She started to regret it as soon as she got near the speakers. They were loud as it was, but being right next to them cranked up as they were were bothering a headache she'd already been dealing with when she came here. She was now going almost totally deaf as she searched around for a desk or list or any sign of anything to request a song with. She had no idea what, anything but this...

She found no such thing anywhere near the speakers. She looked for the DJ, who just looked at her and gave her this big goofy smile and apparently couldn't understand a word she was sanging. He just kept jamming to whatever he was playing at the moment. Frustrated, she walked back out to find somewhere to try and get over this headache.

Fog emtters shot the stuff out into the room. Chris' site was cloudy, and she couldn't see two feet infront of him. "Why is it so foggy in here?" Chris' short-term blindness caused her to ram into the Turntable stage. Where the Disc Jockey was laying down the beats.

The D.J. put his mouth to his mic, yelling out to the crowd. "Alright everybody! How Ya'll doin tonight!" The crowd cheering roaring all around the warehouse."Alright Alright Alright! Well its almost about 12 o'clock time to crack this party up!" The DJ tossed down a record on the turn table and started to scratch the venal. The crowd cheered the man on, as he spun the records about.

The D.J. grabbed for a button under the table, letting the fog ammeters to shoot jets of fog. Chris took a breath of the smoke coughing. After his through cleared, he let out a big yawn.
"You know, I wasn't all that tired, But now all of a sudden I feel really sleepy." His body seemed sluggish, and heavy. His eyes drooped down, again and again. Try to stay awake she slapped his cheek. But it was no use, his body tipped over and dropped on to the dance floor."So tired..."

Ayden was still at the drink table when fog surounded her. She was so confused at what was going on. The D.J. said something, but she wasn't paying attention to what it was. She was still curious of the fog. She was feeling extremly tired and she wasn't sure why. Ayden yawned and fell to the ground feeling way to tired to stand anymore. 'What's going on?' she thought before she fell asleep.

As Jessie made his way up to request a song he finally made it to the Dj, just in time to get it with a blast from the nearby fog emitter. He coughed and coughed trying to clear his throat and make sure not to breath in the nasty artificial smoke. But to no avail, his leg's were now made of jello and his head was in the clouds. He took a few cautious steps and yawned running into somebody who had collapsed and already fallen asleep. He tried to step over some more unconscious barriers but soon tripped over and fell down amongst the piles. the last thing he saw before falling was the smiling Dj and the entire dance floor filled with downed, sleeping bodies. His eyes closed and he drifted off to sleep but not before saying one last line.
