The being manifest itself here, again, a forest. Was this world an endless forest? The trees all looked the same, only these were still alive. For the moment, it was in a human shape, red shaggy hair topping a lean frame. The strange green of it's eyes the same regardless of form, seeming out of place on a normal face. Already the buzzing of thoughts assaulted it's mind, the frantic life and death dance of nature setting it's teeth on edge.

Gathering some power, it reaches out and snuffs the life from all of the lesser beings for a mile surrounding it's position. It wasn't hard, they were such small things. If one were to open the heads of the dead birds, squirrels and such they would notice the tumors first. The effects of such a lethal burst of Psionic energy grew thousands of brain tumors in seconds, rupturing the brains of those effected. A quick but painful death.

Hardly human, the thing moves onward, it's unnatural steps betraying it's lack of real bone structure. In essence the thing was a construct of the mind; Nox had long ago changed his body structure so drastically with science that it had evolved beyond normal description. Lacking organs, bones or real flesh even the mind had created the body it used from the synthetics Nox had experimented with. Muscle tissue was replaced with carbon nano-tubes, bone with a flexible weave of Teflon and silica. It had no need for major organs any longer, simply leaching energy from the surrounding area.

The flesh of the being was the true masterpiece; A layer of pure thought. Using advanced Meta Creativity the mind had created a kind of 'skin' out of thought, a black thick substance that moved like living liquid at a thought. It was with this Flesh that the being created skin, clothes and at times weapons. In life Nox had specialized in whips, so to in this un-life; the lashes of the being's flesh being lined with scales of a razor sharp nature.

Moving through the forest, hands in pockets, clothing forming out about the 'man' it heads towards the next section of populated forest. It's mission still unchanged, after all these years; Seek thought and end it.

Lisette Aeona groaned as she shielded her eyes from the glare of the daytime sun. She was currently in a forest a ways away from any nearby town, village or city. She was currently on a bounty hunt for a rampaging boar that had been terrorizing the area; in addition, Lisette was hoping to find various herbs and materials she could sell to alchemists for a pretty penny. She normally spent her time doing various hunts marks, human or otherwise, but on an easy hunt Lisette always found herself more likely to slack off.

At the moment Lisette was currently flitting about the forest, her blond hair flickering behind her in the man-made breeze, when she heard a strange inhuman sound around the bend. Moving quietly towards it she realized it made a strange slosh that resembled thick gruel served to prisoners and orphans. Lisette's brows furrowed in worry as she tried to assess the situation. She didn't have much time to think however as she noticed subtly soft thuds around her. In horror she realized various small animals were now littering the grounds: squirrels, birds, snakes and multitudes of other species laid dead around her; a few of them were even still twitching as they stalled at Death's Door.

Steeling her resolve Lisette took a sharp breath as she closed her eyes and calmed her mind. Her breath soon became even and steady as she allowed her mind to focus and enhance her senses. Soon the inner picture of her surroundings were ready as her mind took bits and pieces from what she had seen earlier and spliced it into a working 3D model. Her ears twitched lightly as soft rustling of grass became evident; it was much easier to pinpoint as the common noise of the creatures were now silenced by that mysterious force. From what Lisette could take in they were footsteps roughly a quarter mile away from her position.

With a heart pounding with excitement Lisette ran in the being's estimated location.

The being felt another, stronger than the deer and birds. It's thoughts grated against it's mind..sending vibrations through it's mental pathways. It's brain acted like a spider's web; it felt even the slightest vibration, and helped the being locate it's prey. Thoughts caused so much discomfort to it that in all cases of encounter Nox killed the being whose mind was the cause. Turning it's head, and casting radioactive green eyes across the forest, it searched.

With a motion, arm's flesh turning black, a finger extends several feet. Razor edged, the digit shears through a nearby tree, felling it with a gesture. As the tree crashes to the forest floor a ripple runs across the being's skin...as the rest turns blacker than midnight. Soundlessly Nox enters combat mode. Protected by thicker substance, the being's darkness acts as natural armor against most light attacks. The finger retracts, only inches long once more. Nox's lashes were feared through the planes.

Resuming it's motion foreward, the being focuses in on the oponent's mind, keeping track of aproximate position. With a whisper of force, and a slight stitrring of the leaves about..Nox begins gathering power for the fight to come. One hand clenches, the artificial muscle tissue and bone crunching under the force, as a ball forms. Small for now...but with great potential.

Lisette quickly turned as a loud crash rumbled throughout the forest, alerting her to the danger that would surely follow if she investigated it. She knew that whatever was making those strange noises earlier was most likely the cause of the animals dying in the area. Lisette could feel a slight ache in her head, small and minute, but it was there. Without a sound the blond haired girl whipped out two black knives; they were fastened in the shape of a cross, the handle and guard rather thin but accentuated by the 'blade' which consisted of a spike sharpened to an extremely fine point. The knives were aerodynamic to a fault; although they found little resistance when flying through the air they were less than ideal in a close combat situation.

With the smallest of 'thuds' Lisette planted one on the ground she was standing as she began to race onwards. Being careful she then continued her journey towards the sound, planning out all the possibilities that could arise from the situation, her thoughts racing at incredible speeds.

In time she came across a small clearing. It was a simplistic enough clearing that seemed common in forest-like areas. There was short and medium length grass covering the area with an occasional flower of weed spotting out of it. However, the scenery paled in comparison to the dark human-esque being at the other end of the field. It seemed to be holding a strange ball in its hands. Being careful, Lisette threw another one of her knives off to the far left side of the field before calling out to the being.

"Hello!? Do you know what is happening here?" She called out cautiously, being as vague as possible to at least seem diplomatic and neutral.
