Who is online ( )

Postby Jimmeh on Wed Jun 11, 2008 10:36 am

I suggest that somebody put the who is online list in alphabetical order, and more specific. Other sites I've been on have told which topic they are viewing as well, and it can be rather helpful to people who like to use this feature.

Definitely. And even if they didn't go as far as showing specifically where people are viewing, the alphabetical order needs to happen, it's so frustrating when the names are in such a random order on the list.

I think so, too. Thread topics would be especially nice. I got really excited because I thought that people were reading my thread yesterday, only to realize they were simply browsing the forum. And then I had a sad face.

no, i mean when you click "Who's Online" and it shows what everyone is doing, it puts them in random order.

All righty, I came to the site yesterday and....it was blue. And it still is. WtF? Why is it blue now? I liked when it was tan with the whole "faded parchment" look....

If you haven't noticed. We had to return the theme to one theme. You had selected a different color in your UCP. For now we have to revert back to one theme. Why? Check out under your profile in the posts, you will see a reputation system has been programmed, as well as us having a rating system. With these new modifications we had to turn back to just one theme. While the having one theme is temporary, I agree. I do not like the blue colors. However, we traded it off for something truly epic.

What do you mean what is the rating system for? <<;

It's simple. People make good posts, rate them good, bad posts bad. The more good you do, the more your vote means, the crappier you are, the less your vote means. So it's motivation for people who aren't good at role playing, to try and become better.

Suggestion ( )

Postby BaXTeR on Sun Jun 15, 2008 9:58 am

I searched to see if this was posted before and I didn't find it so....

I'm not sure if its possible, but is it possible to intergrate a dice system into the chat room? AIM chat rooms used to have (might still have) a command to roll a dice with whatever number of sides you choose, and however many dice you choose. The command was //roll.

If this was integrated into the chat system, players could use the chat room to play out D20 RPGs such as DnD. Also Admins could setup community RP nights on a set weekday where anyone in the community can participate in a D20 RPG. This will bring community members closer together, and give them a chance to get to know eachother, and different playing styles.

Just a thought that would be really cool if it's possible.

Actually, our main Chat Room is down, Remaeus (The main dude here ... and admin.) is working on fixing it (ISN'T HE ?!), and that chat room did have a dice system I believe, though rarely used. There you go !

Um, well, the buttons on the home screen for forums and some others don't work, they just go to the home screen. Is the system treating the home screen as the forums, or is there some other bug?

Why don't the buttons for Gaia and the other stuff on the main page work? The images show as x on my screen and it kinda looks a bit messy. Figured I would let you know as first impressions are often important.

Cass: The images work fine for me. Not sure if they were fixed already or what.

And Moblin, I see what you mean. The links just lead right back to the front page. :/

The chat isn't down at the moment, I just clicked "Chat" and logged on.

Also, there is a die-rolling feature in the chat! Use the following code:
Code: Select all
!dice 1d20
to roll. Have fun!

Ed. - also note that when the real chat is back, it will be "/roll 1d20"
