The Greek Gods and Goddess' live on Mount Olympus, which is in Central Greece. They are rarely allowed to come down from their place of reign, only every 100 years for a year, before having to return. However, sometimes, whilst they are down on Earth, they decide to mate - bringing children into this world to keep their blood going, despite the fact that they never die. These children are demi gods, and possess powers, althuogh not as strong as their parents.

At the age of twenty one, these demi gods are sent to a boarding school just outside the mountain city of Oia Santorini. The boarding school was built to look like a house, so that it was left alone by the unwanted as it rested on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. The lessons taught at Olympus house is how to harness the full weight of the godly powers, and to use them to the best of your ability; the facility is run by teachers that are knowledge in Greek Mythology, such as centaurs, mermaids and even satyrs.

Personality: Ro is usually fairly good at masking her emotions, and you'll usually find her in a nice mood. She isn't impolite, but sometimes her frustration and annoyance can get the better of her, making her snap. She has a calm disposition, and usually wears a smile on her face, despite the fact that she finds the most joy in solitude. You'll usually find her outside, even if the weather's not too nice. History: Robyn grew up with her father, Daniel Carter, in Washington D.C. They lived in a two-bedroom apartment with a small kitchen and a living room that only fit a couch, a coffee table and a television. She was an only child, daughter of a single man who worked in one of the offices of a politician. He was loving, but not attentive; he was caring, but not concerned.

She went to public school from kindergarten all the way through high school. She was an introvert; the girl who sat in the back of the class, never raised her hand. Well, that is, never raised her hand in anything but science. She was a big science buff, especially when it came to earth and studying it. Her grades flourished in that course, but everything else she barely passed.

Ro dealt with many cases of the classic bullying. It got physical a few times, but most of all it was verbal; kids would pick on her for being "odd", for her clothes, her hair, every possible bodily aspect. But the one that irked her the most was when they pulled the "you don't have a mother" card. Yes, she knew she didn't live with her mom, but a lot of the kids didn't live with theirs either... she knew she had a mother. Everyone does...don't they?

It wasn't until freshman year that she discovered her power, and even then, it was only slight. She was at home, watering some of the plants that rested on the window sill. She sighed, thinking it hopeless to keep tend to them anymore as the flowers were completely dead. But as she touched the petal of one of the flowers, it began to regain its vibrant color, and soon, the whole plant was alive again. What the hell, what the hell, what the hell? was the only thing going through her mind. She tried it on the other plants. Same result. She was eaten up by curiosity, and confusion. Was this some kind of dream?

After graduation, she took some time traveling throughout Europe and other countries. Her dad had financed the plane tickets, that's about it, leaving her to raise the rest of the money. She didn't mind, though, she enjoyed the adventure. By the time she was 20, she had found her way to Greece. She lived there for nearly a year. One day, on an expedition with a few new friends, she encountered the city of Oia Santorini. She allowed her friends to rest a while, whilst she continued hiking a bit around the mountain. Soon, she came across a rather large, luxurious looking home. May as well take a look around, eh?

History;; Anamarie lived with her Dad until age fifteen, when he died from a heart attack. He had always been in bad health, so it was up to her to take care of the house so he could pay the bills and such. Her Dad was a work-aholic, and Ana didn't get to see much of him around the house. She was the loner in high school, and the quiet one. After her Dad's death, she was sent to live with a distant Uncle, who turned out to be mildly insane. He was often caught talking to himself, and rambled on about the apocalypse. Ana found solace in a boy at her new school who was a bit like herself. The two hit it off, and were practically inseparable. He was a year and a half older than she, and when she turned eighteen they moved into an apartment together. The two were talking about marriage, but that dream quickly ended after a horrible accident.

Personality;; Harvey is mostly quiet and loves to keep his cool around tough situations, practically distancing himself from any negativity. What's ironic, though, is that he's practically swimming in it and he doesn't even realize it. He is a little anti-social, preferring to listen to conversations or watch from afar instead of actually talking. A lot of people have tried to coerce him out of this, but it seems that his stubborn nature won't permit him change. Not even one tiny bit. He doesn't talk much but he can surely talk his way out of things. It seemed inborn, this ability to smooth-talk, and it was. He can persuade you and manipulate you and you won't even realize it.

Harvey is naturally kind, sweet and brotherly and, like his mother, is a fountain of wisdom, is unbiased in judgment and carrying out justice and is strong both physically and mentally. But Harvey isn't always like this. All of his positive traits lay dormant the day he ran away from home, and his exterior hardened into a shell that protected him from the harshness of reality and human nature. A coldhearted, cynical, secretive and somewhat emotionless shell. If you are patient with this side of him and if you stay with him despite all the cold remarks and abuse he gives you, he will learn to eventually warm up to you and show you his better side. If you get under his skin, however, it isn't going to end pretty. He knows how to stand his ground and he is quite tenacious in arguments and fights, refusing to give up until he gets what he needs to see, most especially for people he cares about the most. He is not afraid to defend anything he believes in or anyone he cares for.

History;; Twenty-one years ago, a hundred years had passed since the last visit. Twenty-one years ago, the time for the gods to visit Earth came. Ever since the gods started visiting Earth, Athena wanted to stay in Mount Olympus and watch humans as they progressed and failed and ruined themselves and bettered themselves, but she was eventually coerced into going by her father, Zeus. Hesitantly, she came down in all her radiant splendor. When she set foot on Earth, she just wanted to leave, until she found someone on Earth that got her interest -- a rather handsome genius-level Philosophy student who lived in Wales at the time. His name was Owen Dalton.

It took some time for the two to open up to each other, but Athena found that for the first time her emotions ruled her and not her reasoning. It was the first love that she'd experienced in a very, very, very long time when she previously kept to herself and swore that she would not love and eventually she became with child. Months after, she bore Owen his son Harvey. For the first few months, they were happy, until Athena had to be called back. Heartbroken, she protested, not wanting to leave the life she made on Earth, but Zeus had reprimanded her and asked where his previously emotionless daughter had gone. And so she left Owen with their infant son, but with regret in her heart as she watched her beautiful young son's piercing gray gaze fade away.

Harvey didn't have much of an ordinary childhood. Although he could make perfectly good conversation with others and he was especially kind, he isolated himself from the others, knowing that there was something different for him out there that didn't have anything to do with the mundanity of life. He knew that there was something different about him. He just could get his finger on it. Until one day, when he was eleven, he finally did. He had a dream, a horrendous dream, about his younger half-sister Katya, and how she died in front of him. Died, eaten alive by a monster. Waking up in cold sweat, he immediately packed whatever he could grab from his closet, stuffed it into a bag and ran away, scared of what might happen to his family lest it happen. Since then, he's been on the streets, but this was a good experience for him. Because here, he learned how to use his abilities.

It wasn't long that he and a couple of friends stumbled upon Oia Santorini, and he immediately felt something click inside him as he followed his gut, which was telling him to go somewhere here. He felt like a wandering idiot in the strange mountain town, walking through the streets, until he saw a woman who looked strangely familiar to him call him by name and ask him to follow her. As shocked as he was that she knew his name, he trusted her immediately and set off, wondering what would happen.

Personality;; Annabella is a little bit of an adrenaline junky. She likes adventure, and she will push the limit in what she is allowed to do. She likes to get in on the action and experience new things. She's also crazy when it comes to going fast. She likes anything that will go fast and sometimes its her herself. She doesn't like to be treated lightly, or like she cannot take care of herself. Annabella likes to be the one to take care of others. She is very protective and a little possessive, so don't bother to take what's not yours. She's stubborn and will drive you to your witts end if you are trying to change her mind. She's always up for anything and will try and at least twice. She's not afraid of what people think of her and she's just out to do her own thing, different as it may be. She's competitive, but mostly because she wants to beat herself, not so much the other people. She can be a little intimidating in certain situations but it is not her intention. Though she will still feel like it's crawling on her. She also is afraid to look at tarantulas and spider webs. She doesn't like the dark, and doesn't like being alone in it especially if it's quiet. She also is afraid to be hit and doesn't like bad dreams.
History;; Annabella was raised in a very troublesome household. Her parents always faught, and when they weren't fighting with eachother, they were fighting with her. When she was younger, Annabella spent a lot of time in her room, hiding away from everything that was going on with her parents, however when she was older, it was something that could not be avoided. She had gained a voice, and now had a tendency to fight back. Whenever she dissagreed with something, you would hear it, and her parents wouldn't have it. Especially her father. One day, when she talked back to her mother, her father hit her. Immediately, she ran away. And she ran fast. Annabella ran at an amazing speed that even she couldn't quite grasp at that moment. It was something that she would continue to do from then on. She would run.

Personality;;Eve is rarely feeling anything that she actually tells you. She is grateful that she can lie but it often backfires. Eve is actually sensitive but she can hide it. Popular she may be and beautiful but she is backstabbing. She is what some people call a crunchie or pineapple. Brown on the outside & blonde on the inside. Yes, she may be able to use her power fairly well, but her skills are lacking in other departments. She was super girly when younger but when her dad died, that all went down the drain. She often get's made over little things and the backstabbing and being sarcastic kicks in.

Ah, by the way, roundabout what age will they be upon entering the boarding school? Or like, what range of ages? 17-20? Rough estimate would be helpful when deciding what photo to go with :)

Personality;;
Lyla is confident. That's the first thing that you will notice about this girl. She's one of the most confident people that you will ever meet, and she loves a challenge. She looks frail, being frightfully pale and slim, but that doesn't mean that she isn't adventurous or likes to take a risk. She looks more like a Barbie than the sort of girl that would jump out of a plane at 15,000ft, but she's done it. She's also swum with sharks too, but that was because they were in her territory

of the Southern California coast line. Swimming is her all time favourite passion, frankly because she's the daughter of Poseidon. Some could say that it's cheating, but she can swim up and down the lengths of a pool faster than anyone that she knows, and she has to be in the water at least once a day. The girl knows what she wants, and she'll always try her best to get that. If it's a new pair of shoes, she'll save up the money to buy that from her small salary job. If it's a faster lap time, then she'll practice and practice until she can do it right. She's very strong minded and strong willed, and she'll probably be the first person in a room to say - "Why don't we do something crazy tonight?" She's also quite out there with her fashion sense, wearing anything that will catch people's attention; she likes to stand out in a crowd.

History;;
From the day that she was born, Lylac Paige Connaught was a strange child. She grew up with no father, her mother always telling her that he was a stupid guy that walked out on them six months after she had been born. She never spoke very highly of her daughter's father, just because she knew exactly who he was. Poseidon - the Greek God of the sea. She was just a girl passing through that he decided to sleep with after getting to know her, and he stayed with her thought the pregnancy. But then, he was called back to Olympus, thus leaving her with a little girl that she didn't want, but knew that she had to keep. She didn't want anyone else looking after a demigod and not knowing why the hell she had powers, so she had to keep her child, raising her on whatever money she got.

Lyla didn't grow up with anything special, but she always had food on the table after school, and clothes to wear when she out grew her old ones. But she was never bought anything spur of the moment, except the occasional chocolate bar and she was never given the affection most children wanted from her mother. As she really didn't like her daughter much, Karen, as Lyla used to call her didn't care much about the child, and she would just spend most of her days smoking in the kitchen and letting the girl get on with things on her own. However, on one cold November night, things got slightly worse in her life.

When Lyla was six years old, her mother began to damper in drugs, and one night, she took way too much. On the 23rd of November, the young child was plucked out of bed at almost one in the morning by her mother and was shoved into the car. Lylac was still in her own little dream world when she fell asleep in the movement of the car, and she was only woken up by the car door opening, the cold air hitting her face and by the salty smell of the crashing waves of the sea. Her mother practically dragged her over to the sea and then into it, this being the first time the child had seen a beach. With the drugs in her system, the uncaring for her child and the hatred for the man that she loved over flowed, and she tried to drown the girl in the sea to get back at him for ruining her life. Lyla doesn't remember much of this, only that her mother was trying to kill her and that she heard a deep voice, telling her to run forward into the sea. Then, she collapsed.

The next thing that she remembered was waking up in Greece in a hotel looking like it was a palace to the six year old. The girl was told everything about herself, and her heritage, and where she was, and she found out that daddy had brought her here. She knows that she can control the power of water, and she can do so in the pool of the House. Sure, she gets reprimanded for using her powers at appropriate times when she's practicing on her own, but who cares? Life gets boring when you've been stuck in a large house for fifteen years with some mermaids, satyrs, centaurs and a few griffons. After fifteen years though, she has been taught to ride one, and even has one that she calls her own, Nadia. So, she's been at Olympus House since the age of six, waiting until she was twenty one so that she could study. She was allowed out of the house sometimes, and she has had a few dates, but nothing more has very happened to her. Nothing more than just a kiss on the cheek. Who knows, maybe this could be the year?..

Hannah Lewis is the typical happy go lucky girl that loves everything and everyone and will always be found with some kind of a grin or soft smile gracing her pixie like features. She loves to laugh, loves to have fun and a passion of hers would be making others happy and just making sure that everyone around her is... 'feeling it'.
Needless to say Hannah's the kind of girl that loves to put others first. She's completely selfless and would rather sacrifice her own life trying to save someone from a fire than just letting them burn. That kind of thing. If the people around her are happy, then Han is happy.
However, there is a side to Hannah that not many people see. She can be unbelievably stubborn and and doesn't give up on things easily.. which is why she finds her powers so hard to deal with sometimes.
Being the daughter of Apollo, Han has power over flight, meaning that she can become airbourne whenever she wants to, but it takes a lot of energy for her to do so. And when she lands again, she often faints or blacks out with the energy that she's used up and recently it's started to become a lot more frequent. She can't use her powers for as long, or as much because of how ill she becomes afterwards. But being the stubborn girl that she is, Hannah won't let this get to her and will often push herself to breaking point. She refuses to let it rule her life and is completely determined to over-run whatever illness is trying to take away what she does best.
Oh and another thing? Han has trouble with other emotions that aren't... happiness. She doesn't deal very well with negativity and if she finds herself upset.. it usually happens drastically so. See, she gets to the point where she bottles everything up for so long that she can become a bit of an emotional wreck and doesn't quite no what to do with herself in those kinds of situations.
Holding the innocence and genuine sweetness of a child, Hanah can be led astray quite easily and it doesn't take much for people to walk all over her... And she has a little thing for a certain Son of Hestia, not that she'd tell him.. or anyone else for that matter.

History;; Hannah Lewis was a child that grew up with adoptive parents. Just after she was born, her mother put her child up for adoption and left without a trace, leaving her beautiful dark haired, gurgling baby with no knowledge of her real roots and the powers that she would one day hold. Other than this fact however, both Marie and Jason Lewis brought their daughter up as their own, with all of the love and support that real parents would give her. However, from a young age they did tell her the truth about being adopted and of course at a younger age, she wasn't always able to understand what her parents were telling her. But as she grew, so did her understanding and actually.. it never bothered her as much as it probably would have done someone else.
Because really, her adoptive parents had always looked after her, loved her.. blood didn't really matter right? As long as they cared for her, nothing else mattered and that's what Hannah tried to convince herself through primary school and even managed half the way through high school until one day it became a little unbearable to not know who her real mother and father were.
So having never lied to her parents before, Han told them that she wanted to find her real mum and dad and much to her joy, they helped her every step of the way until they found Hannah's mother in hospital.. dying of cancer.
Needless to say it was a heart-breaking moment and.. slightly tragic. It was only a day later that Hannah's mother died and it was on her death bed that she murmured her last few words.. the truth. Hannah's father was the greek god Apollo.. She was the daughter of a god.
Flashback: Seven years old. That was the age of Hannah when she first discovered her powers. Her adoptive mother and father had just bought their daughter a kitten for her seventh birthday and unbeknowings of how fast it could be, Han let her new friend out into the garden, where he managed to get stuck up a tree. Needless to say the little brunette was shaking with worry, so much so that in no time at all was she suddenly on the floor, blacked out and clutching the kitten to her chest.
Hannah didn't really remember what happened to her that day... until now. The fear bubbling inside of her must have unleashed her powers and as a child she'd managed to life herself into the air and save her kitten, but collpasing unconscious just minutes later. And after her mother's death as Hannah tried to grab a take on her powers, she found that it took tremendous energy to do what she could do, become airbourne, and within minutes she'd have fainted because of lack of energy. And as she grew older, she found that it was getting worse.
This was how she came to find Oia Santorini, actually. After searching on the internet for reasons of black out attacks (and failing to come up with anything that fit her problrm, obviously) it was suggested by a certain website that the twon had healing facilities for unknown illnesses. And well, hell, she didn't think it would work but it was worth a try right? So, she booked herself a holiday and travelled out there.. only to find that she ended up trying to save a man who was stuck on a rock face in the blazing heat. And she did save him.. just.. but when she woke up she was in a strange building.. a boarding school.

Hannah's often seen wearing her pair of lovable geeky glasses and her hair is often stood out in erratic positions, the tousled out of bed look being her signature style.
Oh and she has a thing for antiques, loving anything historic or meaningful.
