In the year 2012, a great shadow called Apocalyptica rose over the Earth. It fed from the people, and murdered everyone that rebelled against it. It also rendered society of technology. The human race was now facing the greatest challenge imaginable. Life without light and progression...
10 years had gone by. The Shadow of Days to Come had ruled over everyone, making life a difficulty in itself. Everything was more of a challenge, and no longer did people pray for hope. Hope was gone...
That year is 2022.
A girl named Jennifer Tracy though, she had something. Dreams. Odd dreams. She was a Blessed, or a human born with odd power. And when her dreams reached a certain point, things began to find her. People.
Altogether, Jennifer and a band of heroes rose, freeing the world of chaos and providing hope, as they sealed away Omega -the incarnation into a physical form of Apocalyptica-. Doing so, they released Omega and Mu back to the ends of the universe where they were birthed. Mu was destroyed, but Omega lived on.......A new story begins....
...2 years have passed; the year is 2024...
*OMEGA*
Silence. Failure.
The lights of distant galaxies were fading away. Omega -in his true universal form- dwindled at his birthplace. The edge of all existance's. The end of the universe.
The expanding universe's limits lay at Omega's fingertips. This is where he came to be. Where he was claimed as the darkness of everything. The end of light.
This was the doorway to his homeland...
The edges of the long black silence began to ripple, a sacred language of the universal souls. Omega's lips curved into a smile. Hope.
A man and a woman rose from the dark liquid void and presented themselves.
Ultima and Nova. The ancients of the Universe.
"Omega..." They spoke simultaneously. "You've one more chance. And it is given with the hands of time. Let the ancients guide you."
Ultima and Nova joined hands. Ultima held out his free hand, to the left of him, and Nova did the same with her hand reaching out to the right.
The universe began to spin counterclockwise, throwing them towards Earth as time rewound itself.
Everything in their path was being obliterated, as Omega's laughter filled the night sky...
*LAVYRN*
The kingdom of medival Earth had become quiet. An echo poured through the skies, and in every village did the people gather to watch.
Three stars tore through the sky, one red, one blue, one black.
No one knew of the danger that was coming. No one knew of the catastrophe and horror that was about to break free..
Lavyrn stood at her window, in her soft white bed gown.
"My Queen. The Magistrate says that the stars are the three stars of Eternal Chaos. What shall we do?" the servant questioned.
Lavyrn turned, looking at him through somewhat deep violet eyes. Her long hair shimmered dark blue in the light. She was far from an ordinary human, although her history showed nothing stranger; no elves or mystiks. Nothing...
"Tell Markus to gather the finest knights in the lands. We will have to fight." She said, smiling softly to him...
*JENNIFER*
I twisted on the bed next to Ryan. The large home was comfortable, and I was glad that my new family could stay with me.
But something was wrong. Something was very wrong.
I had been having these dreams. Dreams of darkness. A woman with long dull blue hair and pale skin raising the dead, and a man with pale skin and red hair, killing the living. And... Omega. Ruling the skies with darkness...
I jumped up from the bed and stared down...
"It has begun again..."
*2024*
After time had progressed, and the three universal beings landed in Earth's past, things began to change. At first it was little things. But then, the sky began to grow dark. Like a great mist or fog was blocking out the sun.
On North Main Street, in the City of Lucras, rose up a giant rock circle. Marked on it was the symbol for Alpha. The symbol that called out to Jennifer. Though as it stood, it was just a rock circle. But it was calling to Jennifer, and other heroes, to come forth. And Jennifer would use the powers of the universe to open the portal to take them all back in time.
To fight once more for the fate of Earth and all the people, of all times...

[Jennifer- First Person]
My eyes fluttered open as the faint glow of the sun filled the bedroom. My fingers stretched out in their lithe little ways to crawl over the sheets and find Ryan.
"Morning." I whispered softly, lifting myself some little bit to place a kiss upon his cheek. I then moved back, brushing my hands through my hair. Hair that had grown down to a few inches past my shoulders, as well as having grown a shade or two darker- into a more actual red tone-, and also having gained some little bit of body.
I threw my legs over the edge of the bed and sighed, rubbing my eyes softly, feeling the smooth light skin underneath my hands.
It had been two years since I had had any difficulties. Two years of this solace- this peace.
But something was coming. Or had already come. Something was wrong.
I had begun having nightmares, my last one being two days ago. And the sun was being blocked again, well, partially- by a misty haze that covered Lucras. But most of us assured the city that it was just weather conditions growing adverse. Not one of us could let the world sink into a depressive panic again.
I crawled up from the bed and moved softly to the kitchen in silky shorts and a light blue long-sleeve. Getting there, I tied my hair up into a high ponytail and tapped the coffee maker to turn it on.
Steam rose up to the ceiling of the beautiful white kitchen- a part of the beautiful 8 room suite of the top of the Marriot- a new hotel brought up a year ago. I had purchased it- and invited all my friends to come live here. And Ryan too of course.
The smell- no -the aroma, of coffee filled the suite, the long beautiful white and black monotone suite.
I pressed my fingers then to a small platform, making it light up.
"I'm making coffee everyone." I grinned, taking my finger away. It served like a little intercom- projecting my voice gently into all of the bedrooms.
Today was another morning in the tranquil life...
Another morning that I forced back the thoughts of another journey and what lay in the Alpha Circle on Main Street, calling to me in my dreams...

Miles' eyes opened as he heard Jen's voice through the intercom, but he could see no light on this beautiful morning. The fight with Omega 2 years ago had cost him his sight, well, sort of. Since the battle, Miles had learned that he could use his powers of telepathy and mind vision to almost create an echoed view of the world. Almost like a bat with sound, but instead it was with mindwaves.
Miles walked over to his wardrobe and picked up his dressing gown. He had become more comfortable moving around now, especially within the apartment. Sliding his arms through the dressing gown and his feet into his slippers, he walked down the corridor towards the kitchen. His hair was covering his eyes this morning, but that didn't really bother him, especially as he was uncomfortable with his now completely black and grey eyes.
Walking into the kitchen, he could 'see' Jennifer standing next to where the coffee machine was. "Morning Jen" he said walking up to the kitchen counter, putting some bread into the industrial sized toaster (perfect for an apartment full of people) he turned round to her in a more subtle tone "no more nightmares last night were there?".
Miles was still working as a councelor in the city, and had just been given a new office closer to the apartment, which made his life considerably easier. Being a councellor, he always found that he didn't mind bringing his work home with him so to speak.

Deep inside the forests that covered almost the whole landscape of the unnamed mountain rage, in the middle of a grassy meadow stood a man. His metallic armour reflecting the shining sun onto the ground below and in all directions around him. He stood there motionlessly, two almost identical swords stuck in the ground while the third, different from the two was still strapped to his back. The man breathed calmly as his closed eyes made no sign of opening.
He stood there motionlessly as the breeze swept by him. The blades of the grass all in unison reacted to the flow of the air and danced in the breeze. All of a sudden the man’s eyes opened as the trees around him all cracked at once on the same point on their trunks and fell to the ground with great noise. Birds could be seen flying away as the sudden noise scared almost everything in the radius of the noise. The man blinked a few times as he raised his head while his face was hidden by a helmet. He slowly looked around as satisfaction crossed his face. With a smirk he withdrew the swords from the ground and placed them on his back.
“I still got it” Rayza said smiling as he slowly walked away from the meadow. It has been two years since he saw the sun for the first time but at the same time it was the last time he saw civilisation. For two whole years he travelled the world gathering experience and knowledge about the situation in the newly illuminated world. He gathered a lot of skills in many fields though he concentrated mostly in combat. Ever since Mu was gone he had to rely only on his own skills and power. Though Mu was never so much of a help then a guidance but it was nice having him around but now Rayza had to learn to do things the hard way but then again, nothing was hard once you put your mind into it and that was literal for him.

Ash filled the crevice's of my mouth, horrible, stale, the taste was unexplainable. I had done this many times, roamed around the alleys and bleak lit streets, times were different than I remember as a kid. Though I learned to live with it I suppose, what more was there to do?
Every day I heard stories of those who committed suicide, the weak who couldn't take life and turn into something else. I am not and never will be like that, I'm a fighter, and I choose to be cause I know there is something better than this!
Water puddled between my paws, I always had a knack for trouble. Most called me a Shadow, this world knew me as a hero and a disgracer. My powers where the shadows, and god forbid I use my worldly talents against anyone who gets in my way.
Walking down the intersection of the alley, a few people slept in corners, trying to make a living. Hell, a few might of even been dead though I'm not the sort to check. I try to be layed back, uncaring, though I do have a Heart, don't get me wrong.
I was a feline at the moment, a cat in simple terms for you lovely philosophers out there. Sarcasm? Yes. Though this helped me get around faster, the last time I checked, this time period didn't walk around killing felines, so I had no problems. I was the size of a normal household cat, unable to get bigger or smaller. Though a cat may not be frightening, still, If you think I'm powerful, you're right.
Some ask me what side I'm on, to make it clear, would I be sneaking around if I was anywhere related to those who come and destroy? I don't think so. Hell some even put as a deceiver, weaving information out as it comes. I will admit that would be smart if I was on the right side, though honestly I'm not.
Patiently I've been waiting, for something, anything to find itself to me. I've been so horribly bored, the City of Lucras has seemed so bland. The skies seemed to grow more bleak, and the streets darker. It helped me plenty once again, though everyone seemed to downgrade. The Future hip and technically involved: Failure. Though most lived their lives in peace, something was coming weather the mortals wished to accept it or not.

I was still tired from a long night of almost no sleep. Rolling out of bed I smacked on the floor, with a loud "oof" I was up. My hand flung up to the night stand next to my side of the bed, grabbing a roll of bandage I unraveled it. Rapping it around my left missing eye. Yawning I finally stood up. Walking out to the kitchen I saw that Miles was up as well. I reached in my pocket as I walked towards him and Jennifer. Pulling out a pack of cigarettes and a lighter I threw them on the counter. "Mornin' Jen." Grabbing her from behind I gave her a peck on the cheek. "Oh Miles I got the smokes you wanted." I had kicked the habit after Omega had been destroyed. Reaching in the fridge I pulled out the carton of eggs. Doing my morning routine as usual. Heating up the skillet I went to the washroom to clean up a bit. Stepping out I started cracking the eggs. "Want some breakfast Miles?" Stirring the eggs around I yawned. "So I heard you mention something about Nightmares?" Turning to Miles. "What nightmares?" I started think of some nightmares of mine I've been having lately. A lot of them just silly things really. Stuff like giant spiders... I don't do to well with spiders. I can take on giant fierce demi-gods that are hell bent on wiping out man kind as we know it but I can't handle a little spider touching me. Others though not so silly. Lately I have had a recurring dream that what we did two was all for nothing. Things would go back to the dark days and Omega ruled. That was actually the reason I haven't been getting any sleep. I have no idea why I've been having them but I never thought they meant anything really. Our life was peaceful as it was and I didn't want any of it to change.

Miles could sense that there was a deeper meaning to his question of Jen's nightmares, perhaps Ryan was having them too? He would check himself, but he'd promised himself he would not look into anyones mind unless they allowed him to, or if he really had to.
Whilst he pondered on this, he decided to pop out onto the balcony for a cigarette, waiting for the others to wake up before breakfast.
Miles could sense that there was a deeper meaning to his question of Jen's nightmares, perhaps Ryan was having them too? He would check himself, but he'd promised himself he would not look into anyones mind unless they allowed him to, or if he really had to.

Alice smiled, eyes still closed, as she heard Jen's voice come over the intercom. Her hand stretched out -- the one with the silver ring on the index finger, the one with blue electricity curling around the band -- and found Anthony's hand beneath the sheets. Her smile widened.
Alice opened her eyes. The life she led now was idyllic -- something she could hardly believe was real. Two years had passed -- two years in which Alice had felt truly happy. Alice sat up, running a hand through her wavy black hair. She looked over at Anthony, still asleep beside her, and leant down to kiss his cheek softly.
Then she slid out of bed, wrapped her green silk dressing gown around herself, and padded out of her room towards the kitchen.
The aromas of coffee, toast, and frying eggs hit her as she entered the kitchen. "Morning all." Alice said softly, her traditional greeting to those awake before her. "Have we got any of that bacon left?"
Alice opened her eyes. The life she led now was idyllic -- something she could hardly believe was real. Two years had passed -- two years in which Alice had felt truly happy. Alice sat up, running a hand through her wavy black hair. She looked over at Anthony, still asleep beside her, and leant down to kiss his cheek softly.

Smells intricate down my nostrils, heavenly smells. I could almost taste that of the delectable pickings of food. Clawing to get my hands on them I trotted into the streets, scrounging around on the sidewalks. I started into a sprint, before I roughly swerved a corner.
Stopping, sniffing, I found myself at a small quaint door. I looked cute and puffy, my black midnight colored fur hit off with a sprinkle of white. For them I was a normal feline, to myself, a deviant. Did it really sound that bad? Wagging my tail as I came to it, clawing just a bit at it. Purring at the same time, my cat like instincts kicking in just slightly.
I was starving, in this body I could suffice with just a little and be happy.
Still clawing playfully, meowing still. I looked like an innocent little kitty, which would work to my favor hopefully.

”Time to see how are things going in the everyday life” Rayza thought to himself as he approached a city in a steady pace. He wasn´t inside one for two years and a lot could have changed but he did too so it was only fair to find out how one change will react on the other. Once he entered the city perimeter the common smell of the city filled his nostrils. “Well, at least some things staid the same” he thought smiling as he put down his helmet and looked up in the sky. He strapped the metallic head protector onto his belt and continued inside the city. Many things have changed from the day of Omegas end but it still all seemed so familiar.
It took him good three hours to go through all his old ways until he finally ended up in front of his friend’s house. It looked just like he house he visited in the times when he needed the new armour and it looked as much as welcoming as back then. He knocked on the door and waited. For some time nothing happened but then the sound of unlocking filled the air as the door slowly opened to reveal Rayzas old friend. “Oh my god” said the man as he embraced Rayza. “I thought you were dead.” Rayza only smiled. “You always tend to jump into conclusions” he said as his friend let go of him. “Come in, come in, you need to tell me where have you been all this time?” the man spoke excitement and curiosity on his face. “Ok but only for a tea, I have to go back to my training soon” Rayza said as they walked inside the house.

Anderson sat on a bench. He had been more or less hitchhiking around the country, and had come to Lucras simply for the opportunity to see the heroes- those who had destroyed Apocalyptica. It wasn't particularly well known this was there hometown- but plenty knew. He looked around this calm city, and spied a black cat pattering along. Having nothing else to do, he shrugged and pushed himself up and off the bench.
Following the cat, it came to rest in front of a white door. A sizable door. Reaching down to scratch the cat's ears, he smacked his head on the door and fell back, blacked out temporarily.
Roughly ten minutes later, he got up again, shaking his head. He wondered who's house this was. Pretty damn big. He knocked. He could always at least find directions to a place to stay for the night- he didn't like intruding.
Following the cat, it came to rest in front of a white door. A sizable door. Reaching down to scratch the cat's ears, he smacked his head on the door and fell back, blacked out temporarily.
Roughly ten minutes later, he got up again, shaking his head. He wondered who's house this was. Pretty damn big. He knocked. He could always at least find directions to a place to stay for the night- he didn't like intruding.

I had heard pawing from one of the side doors. Turning the burner down to low I went to examine the scratching I opened the door. There was a nice black cat pawing at the door, it looked hungry and was kinda skinny. It kinda reminded me of the cat Rose use to feed before she and Jack were killed. I picked it up by its scruff I took it in the house. As I slammed the door close there was a loud THUNK. Not paying much attention to it I went into the kitchen, The eggs were already done and I turned the burner off.
"Cute little bugga ain't he?" I brought him up by my face and stared into his green eyes. "He will be good for dinner tonight. How do you feel about cat stew Miles?" I had an evil grin on my face. I'd never eat a cat but I thought it would be nice to joke around. I mean its not like he can understand me right? Setting him on the ground I pulled out a little plate, scooping a bit of egg from the skillet I put it on the plate. Setting the plate to the ground I recited the same words I said that day I last saw Rose alive. "If you keep feeding them they will only come back.... Just like you I guess."
I had a nice smile on my as I turned to Jennifer. "Hey Jen, how do you feel about pets?" I bent over and scratched his head. "I mean.... if we have any room I don't see why not." Fetching a few more larger plates I set them on the counter. Yelling as loud as I could I said. "YO ANTHONY! GET YOUR ASS IN HERE!" I only saw Alice come out. "Oh why hello darling." I winked to let er know I was messing around. Alice had said something about bacon. My mind went blank. Holy hell I forgot to pick up bacon last night! I had to go pick some up now if I want this to be a good breakfast. There was a super market close to here so I can quickly run down there. "Damn it. Sorry Alice but we ran out. I'll get it now though!" I ran up to another floor to go get some cloths. Picking out some jeans and my usual jacket I looked around. I needed my sword.
Looking throughout the room I saw it. wrapped up in the bandages, there was no scabbard for it so I had to improvise. Thats not as bad though when my uncle Ian had to use a double D cup bra as a backpack to carry his grenades when he was in the Japanese Armed Forces. I still had the locket from two years ago. I still never really knew where it came from. I had wrapped it around my hilt though so now it with me in battle no matter what. opening up a window I yelled. "I'll be back guys!" I jumped out of the window, crashing rolling on the ground I began to walk to the super market. Looking over I saw a man infront of our door knocked out. "Weird."

After hearing Ryan mentioning something about cat stew, Miles sent his mind back inside to see what he was talking about... What he sensed was weird. It was deffinately a cat, but it's mind was like that of a human, complex and thoughtful.
Fnishing his cigarette he walked back inside to investigate the new-comer. He bent down next to the 'cat' and picked it up. "Well hello there," he said out loud as to give the others an excuse-reason to pick the cat up, whilst at the same time sending a thought into the cats mind "Who are you, and what brings you here. If you do not answer, i will throw you out of that window, and trust me, you will NOT land on your feet."

Within a few minutes, things got pretty wierd. One minute, I was hugging playfully at Ryan's waist, standing on my tiptoes to sit my head upon his shoulder.
"Mmm.." I said, as a 'thunk' struck the door..
From there, I watched the cooking food as Ryan said something about a pet.
"Well love, we already have Apollo and Hera, I don't see how one more could hurt. And Ryan, love, could you come back and watch breakfast?" I said softly, happier in these past few years then I had ever been. I turned softly, and walked over to Miles, letting my fingers run through the cat's fur.
So tell me what's with the cat
And then I noticed someone outside.
"Whoa." I said quietly. I shook my head.
Things are like my dreams Miles. This happened- just not like so. I had one dream that it was raining outside, and I heard something against the door- like a singular knock. And then behind me the sound of a cat. Strange...
I shook my head again- denial perhaps has struck me hard? I brushed my hair back a little, and rubbed my arms as soon as the air conditioner came on. Fall had me somewhat chilled again.

Wagging my tail valiantly, I purred and just stared, cocking my head from side to side. They seemed nice, maybe I could get somewhere to sleep tonight, or even better, a bachelor pad. My mind still working as a child as I layed on my paws purring still. The black fluffed fur spreading around me. Itching to speak I held myself from doing so, I wasn't going to be so stupid. Moving my head, shaking it as I stared at everyone and meowed a bit more.

Alice chuckled a little -- Ryan was such a teaser. Hearing her inquiry, he had offered to get bacon, and before she could call out to say no, never mind, it's okay, he had left. Alice shrugged and made herself a coffee.
Then she moved to the table and sat down in one of the chairs, resting her head in her hands. She wondered whether she should wake Anthony, but decided against it. She was used to him sleeping in.
It seemed the others had found a cat -- a stray, by the look of it. Alice liked cats -- usually. But for some reason, this morning she couldn't quite bring herself to get up and give it a welcome pat.
Alice leant down, resting her head on the tabletop. She loved her life here incredibly, but still she couldn't quite let go of what had happened two years earlier. And even though she now had Anthony, the most amazing man she had ever met, and a wonderful new family, she couldn't let go of what had happened to her old one.
Alice seemed to be the most hung up out of all of them about Apocalyptica, a fact which she despised. Nine days out of ten, she would smile and laugh and enjoy life, the bad thoughts not crossing her mind, but occasionally, like today, she couldn't keep the smiles going.She sighed, trying to force herself to be happy.
It's time you let go.
It wasn't the first time she'd heard that scornful little voice in the back of her head.

Still stroking the cat, Miles answered Jen's thought Firstly, i'm fairly confident this cat is not a cat. But what ever it is, it's being stubborn. As for your dreams... he said quite sympathetically I am sorry that you must go through these. I know that they are the last thing you need now your life is becoming better, but i'm sure that they're important and having them will proove useful later on.
Although Miles knew there was something about these dreams he couldn't put his finger on, but he knew it was getting closer.
Sending his mind back to the cat I know you aren't a normal feline, and i do not intend to have my family put at risk, you are going to tell me who you are, or by the time i've finished my next cigarette... Miles withdrew his mind from the cat's and smiled faintly.
"Just going out for another cigarette Jen," he said winking, which was still a strange sight with Miles' pure grey/black eyes. He went out onto the balcony closing the patio door behind him. He put the cat down on one of the balcony chairs and sat in one opposite.
Reaching for his lighter he sent another message to the cat I know you're not a cat, and i am going to ask you what you are, what you're doing here, and whether or not you mean my family harm. If you lie to me or hold anything back, i will see you as a threat and kill you. It's only me and you now, so spill.

Purring as I cocked my head back and forth not saying a word before I got somewhat afraid. They were onto me, not that I was any harm. I didn't want to hurt anyone, just find my way for a place to rest for awhile I supposed. Against the wall as darkness came over me, fading away. "I am Neko..." I whispered.

I think that today I would be going to check out the Alpha Circle on Main Street. See if it is a portal or something.
Though I truly didn't want too, it had been deemed one of my duties so long ago. But I shook my head- shaking off the thoughts.

As the Animal backed into where a wall was, Miles could start to sense it's thought process. It wanted food and shelter, that was all? then why didn't it say so?
Instead it decided to move into the wall and bugger off, which Miles thought was a stupid way of getting food and shelter. "I am neko..." Miles had heard it say, so at least it could speak, but it still didn't ask for food.
