Nikkie walked into school, nodding to Arwen and Jamie on the stairs in greeting before heading through the doors and inside, her head bent. Everyone knew her family history about how her fathers widow was not her mother and many of the girls gossiped about it, as though because her mother was a mistress Nikkie was a bad person and many of the boys seemed to believe that she was easy because of it. Though Arwen didn't seem like the type to gossip and Jamie was not the type to hit on a girl just to sleep with her but she was still shy and very conscious of what other people thought though she didn't want to be, plus they had seemed to be having a private conversation and it was probably best if she didn't butt into it.

Jamie was waiting outside English class after the bell had rung so he could walk Arwen to her next class, which he prayed was the same as his. He was growing impatiently attached to this girl, even though he had only met her that morning. Curiosity was getting the best of him.

Arwen was a little scared of Nikkie,beacuse all of the things she heard about her. but she still really wanted to learn more about her.

Arwen slowly tried to get up and walk,she found it really hard she put her hand on the table and tried to push herself up.
she got up and walked slowly towards the class room door,Arwen tripped on the way and fell on the floor,it hurt a little.

Arwen put her head on her knees and tried not to cry.

Jamie heard Arwen's cry and ran towards her. 'Arwen! Are you okay? Didn't I tell you you should've gone to the nurse. Come on, I'm taking you.' He lifted her up in his arms, not waiting for a response, he hated seeing people hurt when he knew he couldn't do anything to help.

Arwen felt his body heat,she felt like a princess being saved by a young handsome prince. She looked at his eyes she felt like kissing him,she didn't notice anything at all.. she was just enjoying this moment.

Jamie,Arwen thought to herself. hes such a sweet boy,hes so nice.

Jamie enjoyed holding her for the moment and when they reached he nurse's office door, reluctantly put her down gently. He looked at her for a moment, right into her eyes when he heard a throat being cleared from next to them. He looked around and saw the nurse looking straight at them with one eyebrow raised. He chuckled nervously and loosened his grip on Arwen a little bit but left his arm around her waist so she could still stand steady.

Arwen was happy he stayed with her,The nurse looked at Arwen and asked her to sit on the bed. Arwen sat down slowly.
The Nurse checked Arwens vision and ears and throat.

The nurse finished checking Arwen and said:"You seem fine,I think You just need to drank more water."

"Oh,ok" said Arwen but she had a feeling that it's something worse.beacuse she still remembered that shes going to the hospital with her mom after school.

Arwen turned and looked at Jamie she smiled a huge smile and said:"I told you I'm ok,and that I don't need help!"

'Okay, okay, I can take a hint,' Jamie said, attempting to shake his like for her off his shoulders. 'Arwen, see you later. Later Ms. Troppkin.' He walked out of the small office, but not before brushing Arwen's arm softly.

Ms. Troppkin looked at Arwen when Jamie left and then put her hand on Arwens forehead and said:"Arwen your really lucky to have someone like Jamie on your side."
Arwen looked at her knees and said in a little girl happy voice:"I.. know.. he is a great person,hes really perfect." she tried to smile after saying that.

After that Ms. Troppkin smiled at Arwen,Ms. Troppkin wondered if she knows about her disease yet.
Arwen got up,and walked to the door.

Goodbye Ms.Troppkin sorry for bothering you. said Arwen.

Goodbye said Ms.Troppkin while waving goodbye.

Jamie had decided to stay in the hallway waiting for Arwen. Something about her was keeping him there close to her, he felt like he was needed. He loved that feeling.

Arwen walked to the hallway she felt a bit dizzy. she wanted to go home and sleep. she felt really bad. she wanted Jamie there to be with her.

'Hey,' Jamie popped out from behind the wall, to see Arwen. He quickly and gently grabbed her arm so he could take her wherever she wanted to go.

Arwen decided to hug him tightly,she felt happy like that she didn't want to let him go. even thought she knew she had science class she wanted to stay like that for ever.

Jamie felt goose bumps on his body where he touched her. Something about her made him want so much more, he'd never felt like that. He hugged her back. 'Are you sure you don't want to go home? You really don't look that well.'

Arwen wasn't sure,but she had a feeling that she should go home.
Jamie can you help me get to the Principal office so I'll tell him that I'm not feeling good. Arwen asked Jamie,Arwen let go of Jamie.

Jamie kept holding her, despite how hard she tried to let him go, and he walked her to the Principal's office. He waited so he could be the one to take her home, not wanting to leave her now.

Thank you Jamie.Arwen said and smiled at him.

At the Principal's office
Hello Arwen sit,what is it dear? The Principal asked.
I'm not feeling good,can I call my mother? Arwen asked.
Sure! dear Arwen you should go home. The principal said.
after talking with her mom.

Arwen Your mom is going to pick you up soon,wait outside of school. The principal said,Ok Arwen answered.

Arwen went to the hallway.

'Hey, so I'm gonna take you home.' Jamie looked excited at the thought that she hadn't even agreed to yet. He waited expectantly for her to answer, while playing with a strand of her hair that fell over her eyes.

Um.. Jamie I appreciate it but my mother is coming to get me. so I think I'll be ok. she said and smiled at him.

Jamie looked hurt for a second then covered it up with a smile. He just wanted to be around her the whole time. 'Well, at least let me wait with you.'
