She fell asleep with James and smiled softly.

James woke to the sound of birds chirping and startled to see himself in the middle of the forest. Then he remembered why he was here. He noticed her sleeping soundly and tried not to wake her as he stood up. He went to find some firewood in the forest.

She yawned and rolled over when he moved. She sat up and looked around. "James?" She asked softly.

James wandered into the forest and stumbled upon some firewood. Bending down to pick it up he saw traces of blood. He looked around in panic, trying to see if someone was near. He then noticed blobs of smeared blood across trees and decided to follow it. "Hello?" He called out. "Help!" replied a voice so weak, it sounded like only a child. He ran over to see a girl, about the same age as him curled up in a ball with teeth marks all around her neck. "Please Help" She whispered and closed her eyes. In compleet horror James called out to Rosemary. "Rosemary! Over here HELP" He bent down beside her and talked slowly and sofly to comfort her. The wounds were deep and he had no idea how long she had been in this condition.

Rosemary ran over and nodded finding the girl ."What... happened to her?" She asked looking at the marks on the girls neck. "She looks in bad condition." She spoke softly and shook her head ripping her dress to press the cloth to the girls wounds.

James couldn't believe what was happening. He closed his eyes and thought of what to do. "Stay here" He spoke quietly and darted off running toward the house. He sprinted through the gardens up the stairs and called out to the nurse. "Nurse, Please Help!" He hollered. Growing impatient, Beth, the nurse finally came out of a bedroom. "Yes?" She asked casually. "Follow me now, there's been an accident." He led her to his car and started speeding off. This was a matter of life or death.

Rosemary sat with the woman, attempting to stop her bleeding, help in some way. Something about marks like those didn't seem natural. She bit her lip and shook her head. "What happened to you.?" She asked softly.

James pushed the gas petal on full speed. He twisted and turned through the forest till he found Rosemary attempting to stop the bleeding. He jogged over and kneeled beside Rosemary. "What's your name?" he asked. He looked into Rosemarys nervous eyes as she sputtered out the word "Kat-t-ie"

Rosemary bit the edge of her lip and nodded. "Alright Katie..." She looked at James. "You should get her to a medic." She said softly. "Im going to try to find out who did this to her." She bit her lip looking around her. "I'll let you know if i find it." She stood and backed away from the girl.

James looked down on Katie sympatheticly. She looked so weak and helpless. He bent down and picked her up carefully, trying not to injure her even more. James quickly took long paces over to the car and pulled out his cellphone. He diled the numbers slowly. 9-1-1

Rosemary turned and ran deeper into the forest. She recognized marks like those. She sighed and kept running, she had to find the source, find out why the girl had been attacked. When she crossed the unseen boundary she slowed to a walk, looking around. She knew the wolves were around here somewhere. She had to find the Alpha and see if the attack was allowed or a rogue.

"Hello... Yes... we need an ambulance right away. Thanks and please hurry" James spat into the phone, trying to be as calm as possible. He was still a little frantic about the whole thing. "Oh my Gosh" He sat down next to Katie and burried his head in his arms. His head was pounding and he felt sick. He looked over toward Katie and whispered..."Are you alright?"

Rose found the pack and walked in, talking with them all. She found out what she needed and rushed off, heading to find James again. she went back to the estate and waited.

Katie looked wearily over to James. Why was he being so nice to her? He didn't know her... and she didn't want him too. "Yes" She said trying to sound frustrated. She didn't want to act mean, but if it meant saving his life... she would.


~ James nodded. "Okay I think I hear sirens." As they grew louder and louder he stood up and signaled them over to where Katie was laying. "Hey!" He yelled. They drove in immediately as the medics ran over. They lifted Katie up and layed her down on the platform. He jumped in the ambulance and sat in the corner as they hooked Katie up on IV's.

Rose kept to herself in her room down in the servants quarters. She was pacing back and forth. There was a rogue out there attacking others. It wasn't good at all.

James studied Katies expression as they inserted long needles into her skin. She looked like she was in pain but didnt make a noise. He layed back onto the cold wall and closed his eyes.

~"What the HECK are they doing to me!" Katie thought as they stuck were objects into her skin. It was painful but she didnt want to seam week. Katie looked around trying to keep her self from crying and caught James eye. She looked away quickly and stared up at the ceiling. She yawned and closed her eyes. Slowly, slowly, she started to drifted off to sleep...

After a while Rose made her way to where James was. "What are they doing?" She asked softly. She looked at the girl now sleeping.

James woke up suddenly. "Oh whaaaa-t?" He looked around and suddenly remembered everything. He looked over at Katie and answered Rosemary. "Testing her blood... Making sure she is not infected with some disease."

Rosemary nodded. "Oh." She ran a hand through her hair. She didn't know of the disease could be traced by normal means. She sat by James and watched through the window.

James laughed silently. "I didn't know that either, in till they told me." He sighed and looked out the window. The ambulance began to slow down and eventually turned into parking lot of the hospital. "Okay you two." The driver came around and said to me and Rosemary. "Im going to ask you to get out, you can either wait in the waiting room till she awakes, or you can head home." I looked over at Rosemary and tried to read her expression. "I think we will.... wait till she gets up."
