This is my first roleplay here so forgive me if the "Style" or "Fashion" of roleplaying here is a bit off. All roleplaying sites work differently.

This may be different than the other thread layouts here, but.. what the hell. The layout doesn't really matter. I find this way simpler.

(The plot is currently a mystery and I'll unfold it as we roleplay. It revolves around infectious zombification)
(This is also slightly futuristic by 2 or 3 years but I didn't post it there as this is closer to realism than futurism)
Rapid Encounter Containment Observation Neutralization team. The most prestigious special forces team known to man. The RECON team handles all tasks too vial, toxic, and threatening for the military, HazMat, or other special forces to take on. Each member of RECON has their own specialties, and each member contribute to the team. The RECON base is located on an island who's name is classified, in Hawaii. The RECON base is 15 stories built underground. The uppermost levels are the suites and lounges. The bottommost areas are the labs for specimen study, medical bays, command centers, simulation trainers(Holo-sheds), and the armories. In the base at any given time are 150 military personnel, and 50 scientists working diligently. Most of which are on reconnaissance missions. You are a member of the team.

Character's appearance: Yeh, the pictures below are from Crysis.
Beneath the nanosuit, he stands 6'4 at 248 pounds(Not fat) with dark brown hazel eyes, and shaggy black hair about 4 inches long. he has a slightly tanned, muscular complexion. The nanosuit is a specially designed experimental suit he volunteered to test for the staff who designed it at Area-51. It enhances his strength, speed, reflexes, and more. (See bottom of my biography for suit details)Character's job on base/rank: Commanding Officer of Infantry and Air Forces / Lieutenant General
Character's weapons: XM-5 Dragon high caliber assault rifle equipped with a scope and 50 shot magazine, aswell as a M203 Grenade Launcher. (Yes, that was just made up >_>) The gun looks similar to the one in his picture.
Character's history: Jake was a former SWAT member of one of the best swat teams, Wolf Pack. Wolf Pack was a team that took extremely high risk or dangerous missions, similar to what a Navy Seal or Special Forces member might take on, or harder. Jake retired at 26, then joined RECON. He was one of the youngest to join Wolf Pack, too, as well as the fastest to rise through the ranks, being that by 28 he was a major general. Before all that though, he was a simple new yorker.
Other: Unusually high stamina and endurance, aswell as the ability to fly most aircraft with great precision. Known for his participation in many confidential missions.
The suit's functions:
Helmet - Provides excellent head and neck protection. Insulated and has a cooling/heating system. The helmet has a rebreather unit and a red tinted visor capable of zooming like binoculars, infrared vision, and integrated suit system controls. Allows for enhanced senses(Hearing, sight, ect.)
Torso: Arms and chest provides enhanced muscular, nerve and reflex pehrformance. Includes high-tech molecular body armor, and an experimental cloaking device with a maximum of 10-minutes sustained performance. Also contains armor plated exoskeleton to resist projectile damage and heat up to 5,000 degrees. The gloves are highly sensitive, ultra-precision gloves. Can inject adrenaline for further enhanced performance.
Legs: Reflex enhancers and nano stabilizers integrated, aswell as muscle enhancers. There are also integrated braces to nearly enhance the height you can fall stiff-legged 10fold. The boots are ultra-light nano fiber enhanced armor plated boots.

4. No 1337 or text-speech! I don't want to see your character's saying "Lol" or "rofl" in your posts(in conversation). Also, please don't abbreviate excessively, such as saying lvl instead of level a lot.
5. Wait until I say you've been accepted into the roleplay to start posting in the roleplay. Also, if you've been rejected begging slashes your chances of joining. If you're accepted, then great! Enter with the door though, not the wall. Don't jump in a fight and act like you've been helping out a lot. You may jump in at the base and say you've had a history of helping, though.
6. Grammar. Spelling. Use it, please. It just makes reading easier.
7. As said in the introduction, members of this team are highly specialized. Feel free to go overboard, but not TOO much.
