Roxas exhaled heavily, lowering the Kingdom Key below his waist. He only let his exhaustion show for a moment, though; seconds later he was smiling confidently, his blue eyes glinting. "Looks like I won again, huh, Axel?"

Axel lowered his weapons, too. They dissipated in a flash of white-hot fire, perhaps alluding to a certain frustration. But Axel was all smiles through-and-through; he showed no signs of tiredness even for a moment. "Not bad, partner. But don't get too confident. Next time I'll show you a secret technique that only the elites can pull off!"

Roxas scratched his nose. "Since when did you care about being an 'elite', Axel?"

"Heh heh... good point."
