Joey was shocked at first at this but then snuck around the back of the house then behind Elle. He was tired of this, he knew his mommy was coming back and he wasn't going to be mistreated while waiting for her. Joey grabbed the hose from Elle and pointed it directly at her. He had shut the water off though.

"Stop it or you will get a taste of your own medicine."

He had some trouble pronouncing words but he tried. Drips of water fell from his hair as he waited for her to do something.

Serena had twisted her ankle when she fell. She started to pull herself when first she saw Joey with the hose, and then she was startled by another noise. She turned to see a group of social workers coming through the front gate.

"Shutup loser," Elle said. She looked at the social workers. "Who are they?"

Joey put the hose down. He decided against shooting water at her. Why give her a taste of her own medicine? It might just make her want to hurt people more. Maybe she needed a good family, or a hug! Joey suddenly gave her a big hug.

"Be nice or those big people might hurt you. My mommy talked about them and they can be really evil, so act nice."

He hoped Elle would listen.

"Let go of me and I'll think about it!" She said disgusted.

Joey let go of her a huge smile on his face. He had forgotten all about the scratch that was on his elbow. He walked over to Serena to help her up. He offered her his tiny hand hoping it could help. He was small but he liked to help people.

Serena gently took the boy's hand and pulled herself off the ground. Her ankle was hurting pretty badly, but she managed to stand up. "Thanks," she said, tousling his hair. As she tried to regain her senses, the social workers walked past them with a smile and headed up the front steps. Her face went pale. They were never here for her, and she was almost certain she would never get out of this place.

"Make Elle get in trouble!" Katie said as she took off her wet shoes and left them on the grass to dry.

Serena half heard the little girl as she eyed the social workers heading in the door. "Umm, where's.... where is umm... Asha?" Serena wasn't even one of the "older" kids yet and she didn't really have the power to punish the younger kids.

Katie shrugged. "Who are they here for?" She asked looking at the socialworkers that were walking inside.

Asha lifted up the window from her treehouse, then looked at the social workers, shouting down to the others "What are they here for?" Then turned off the music and leant on the window ledge. She sighed as the sun got in her eyes, then saw that the others where wet "Hey, looks like a giant dog pissed on you guys" She said, then gave a sharp eye to Elle and got out of her treehouse, the phone, scrapbook and bag still in there, then whispered to Elle "Maybe there here to take you" and laughed as Snake snuck behind her and picked her up, dropping her straight away as the social workers turned towards him.

Elle picked the hose back up and squirted Asha, not noticing Snake was there.

Asha screamed, then Snake walked forward and quickly grabbed the hose off of Elle, spraying her to the ground, then he tossed it backwards and wresteled Elle to the ground "Hey little brat, I still don't know why Asha let us take you when you treat her and the others like that" He whispered to her, then pinned her arms to the ground, Asha leaning over. "So, you alright?" She asked Snake. "Yeah, I'm cool, you?" Snake grinned "I'm cool" She said. They where saying it in the tone as a normal coversation, Elle still pinned to the ground.

Joey fixed the bits of hair that stuck out at odd angles when Serena rustled his head. He looked up at the social workers. He was scared they might take him away. He had only been here for a day and his mommy was going to come back. If they take him away, how would his mommy find him? Suddenly Joey started to sniffle and tears started to roll down his face again. The thought of his mommy not knowing where he was made him very sad and it got him all worked up.

Elle started kicking and crying like a 3 year old. "Get off!"

Snake shook his head "No way girl, you gotta learn that bigger kids take down the smaller ones!" He said, then Asha sat next to her "See what happens when you hurt others? If it wern't us, you would be dead now!" She said, then Snake looked at Asha "So, treehouse 5 mins?" He asked. Asha shrugged "Kay, see ya in a bit" She said, then ran up to her treehouse, Snake still on Elle.

Katie giggled as she watched Snake pin Elle. "She needs something worse then the isolation room."

Serena watched and just shook her head. "That kid will never learn." But her biggest concern was the business of the social workers. She started to hobble back across the lawn toward the steps. She couldn't stand sitting and waiting to find out who they were here for now.
