One of the original twelve Patronus during the first war against the Sealed One, Aurion was responsible for maintaining the organisation for the rest of his life, and for ensuring there was a successor for him when he did pass. His death was a blow to the Patronus, overwhelmed by numbers, and the devastating strength granted to his counterpart commander of the Orsa.

Skills and Talents:

• A skilled flier.
• Thousands of years of battle experience make Aurion a nigh on unbeatable opponent without matching or surpassing his powers. It is very hard to get the drop on him, or to find a tactic that he cannot predict.

Abilities:

• Divine powers largely focused around offense, though with significant strength in protection and healing as well. Similar to Arran, these powers are dropped from their original strength by the Sealed One’s taint, though he is still a formidably powerful foe, comparable to Sylvire and Scarlet in power.

  Arran is a cheerful and good-natured man, with never a bad word to say about anyone, except perhaps the Sealed One and his ilk. Loving and protective, Arran always placed his companions before himself, particular the young Peregrin with whom he developed a close friendship. The first of the Patronus to fall, allowing Peregrin to escape the dark elf witch that had been sent for them, Arran had no idea of the extent of the Patronus’ foes when he fell.

Kind and good-humoured, Gawyn’s sense of honour and duty are strong. In his final days, Gawyn didn’t give up hope until Shaiel’s death, at which point he had little concern for himself. His loss, coupled with the berserk nature of the Axe’s powers, drove him to the very edge before his demise.

Quite quirky when with those she is comfortable with, Shaiel became increasingly withdrawn as the events surrounding the Patronus’ demise came to pass. Gawyn’s romantic interest in her took her entirely by surprise, thinking herself unworthy of his attentions, but in the dire times she turned to his affection as a warming lifeline.

He can also channel the spirits of the forest into his attacks for more direct magical assault. The latter ability is not carried forwards in his rebirth, as much like Peregrin’s elementals, the spirits of the forest refuse to serve the Sealed One.

In the days before his death, Peregrin was despairing, depressed and without any real hope.

  • Fire Magic: Peregrin’s most prominent ability is in mastery of elemental fire magic, and his skill in this field surpasses most of those ten times his age, matching if not surpassing Sylvire’s thousands of years of experience. Capable of producing heats greater than most fire mages can withstand, Peregrin can melt steel with his fire.
    
  • Spirit Magic: Peregrin’s secondary ability is that of spiritual magic – the utilising of elemental and other spirits to aid him. This ability allows Peregrin to summon elementals to fight with him (fire, water, earth, air, light and darkness) and to enhance his own abilities. As one might expect, Peregrin most often fights with a fire spirit. This ability does not carry over to his Orsa replica, as the spirits he once shared companionship with refuse to serve the Sealed One in his pseudo-rebirth.

She has a strong fondness for younger magic users, and before the final days of the Patronus was an enthusiastic and loved teacher at an academy in one of the elven cities of the day. Selwyn’s death came early on in the harrowing events that led to the fall of the organisation, and she died with a strong hope that her death would mean the survival of the others. A fruitless hope, alas.

Truly vultures by nature, the Eyes will not attack unless they are absolutely confident of victory without harm to themselves.

• Abnormally potent vision.

Leading the Sealed One's armies in person as opposed to from a seat of power, Nae'Shan is what many believe to be the overall leader of the Sealed One's forces in Aelora.

• Elemental magic - Nae'Shan can wield fire and earth as though they were extensions of himself.

The Library of Amarathia is a mystical place, created by the High Elves' most powerful mages in the city's glory days. The interior of the Library exists on another plane of existence to both Aelora and Terra, and is massive. It contains the entirety of Amarathia's magical knowledge, historical documentation and other forms of literature - including copies of most other texts produced by the other Aeloran nations. The Library's nature allows it to be near infinite in size, and yet the magics that flow through it make it easy to find the texts that are required. They have the convenient habit of being on whichever shelf you check first.

Sylvire has made the Library accessible from the Monastery in Terra as well as Amarathia itself, and it is heavily warded enough to stop all but the most powerful of enemies from entering it against her will. However, the Library was never designed with defense in mind, and so none of its many enchantments aside from Sylvire's own have defensive potential. The Library's main chamber is accompanied by several smaller rooms: the entrance hall, which Sylvire has converted into a bedroom, a storage room converted into a smaller bedroom for Aiedai, and staff offices that have been converted into a kitchen.
