I have one character I'd like to involve.

Rick Mave" Proffesional gambler", on planet to attend an underground poker tournament

I have a number of characters that could contribute to this effort.

Darien Blackdagger won't get much use out of his skills as an assassin in this event. Of greater importance will be his ability with various pharmaceuticals, both to keep the survivors going and to hopefully find a way to beat the bug.

Doctor Andy, along with contributions from Ellipse, Andaho and hopefully Kris, will head up the medical team, bringing back those that have not yet crossed the brink of death (or undeath, for that matter) and discovering that the disease is not magical in origin. Cue Darien's involvement.

Gary Mandolera, a paladin that's been over the hill for some time, still seeks to die with his boots on in the service of the sun god. He'll be free-handed with his lay on hands ability and will be flashing his zweihander around quite a bit, but still seeks opportunities to wage war against what he sees are spawn of evil...at least until the truth is wrested out by the aforementioned medical personnel. Related to combat roles are Lawrence Anderson and Tobias Malari, two sides of the same gun-toting coin as a sniper/scout and front-line combatant respectively. However, the latter wants to get off-planet after an attempt on his life.

Nikki Oceantide would be taking more of a support role, using her abilities to manipulate the weather to slow down a mass advance and giving her side more time to prepare, on top of the usual arsenal for her kind of hailstones, blasts of wind and lightning strikes. (Tornadoes are far too unpredictable and difficult to control.)

Lillian Brettic, aged 7. The daughter of Major Brettic, Lillian managed to escape the Iramorbus outbreak on Beluran under her fathers clearance. Unknown to anyone, including her father, Lillian had been exposed to the disease weeks before and had become a passive carrier. It was this 'Slow Burn' effect that allowed Lillian to slip the quarantine zone and land on Pastor.

Major (M-4) Douglas Brettic, aged 29. Having survived the Beluran outbreak, Major Brettic was assigned the duty of helping organizing the evacuation of refugees from Pastor, another infected planet. This duty allowed his family, most importantly his daughter Lillian, to slip the quarantine net and to arrive on New Pastor - a fresh start from millions of frightened survivors and refugees.

So everyone is aware, Lillian will be acting as our Patient Zero. At the beginning of the roleplay she will undergo her Infection Event, and begin spreading the infection thorugh the main refugee camp. Then zombies will eat people, and we'll probably all die.
