Once upon a time, there was a world, not much like our own. this planet was 80% covered with water. Pirates were abundant, and there fleets, magnificent. As ship masters say "if ye has no cannons in yer fleet, ye are sure to be beat" and that was often the case. even unexperienced pirates know you must have cannons in your fleet, for if you are to ever become the pirate king, you must have as many cannons in your fleet as possible. And only one person can be deemed "Pirate King"

the point of this role play is to see who is pirate king. but there are some rules to go along, becuase even pirates have to follow some kind of rules.

1: no god moding. the battles will be won with what you choose in your profile.
2: don't sware every other word. you can sware, but use it sparingly.
3: if you read the rules post "i will be pirate king" after your name
4: don't go above pg-13 in text content
5: no txt talk.
6: have fun

You start out with 1 small ship and 200 gold. you can spend the gold on more ships,cannons, or cannon balls. here is the shop.

small ship: 1oo gold. must be hit with 1oo points to die. has an area of 100.
medium ship: 2oo gold. must be hit with 2oo points to die. has an area of 2oo
large ship: 3oo gold. must be hit with 3oo points to die. has an area of 3oo

small cannon:10 gold. takes up 1 area. 1 point of damage per cannon ball.reloads instantly.
medium cannon: 100 gold. takes up 10 area. 50 points of damage per cannon ball. must post 1 other time before reloading.
large cannon: 200 gold. takes up 100 area. 100 points of damage per cannon ball. must post 2 other times before reloading

cannon balls: 1 gold a piece.

Name: Morgan Farrow
Age: 32
Fleet information: One small ship with one medium cannon and ten small cannons, fifty cannonballs. The medium cannon faces forward, five small cannons on each side.
Bio: A tall man dressed in pirate robes with a tri-corn hat, black hair, brown eyes and slightly tanned white skin, he carries two flintlock pistols and a scimitar(I know they won't be used in battles). Not much is known about Morgan Farrow except he used to be rather wealthy as he captured galleons full of gold in waters similar to the Caribbean. A few years back his vessel was broadsided by four or five ships at once, destroying it. Farrow and his crew barely made it back to port, now all he has is a small ship.
Current gold: None.

Oh, and might I suggest that you replace small medium and large ships with Sloop, Schooners, and Galleons. These were the actual pirate ships used in the 17'th and 18'th century. (Sloops small, slender ships meant for sailing in shallow waters. Schooners are like sloops but longer, narrower and can sail with a draft of only five feet of water. Galleons are massive, they weren't popularly used by pirates but it is more epic in a roleplay :O)

bio: Vance Scype is a large, yet clam, and quiet man. He was raised in the Mediterranean, along the coast of a place much like Greece, and was born for a life at sea. As a boy, his father, who was himself a pirate, would take him out on raids, and taught his to do battle both by hand and by boat. His father, through his raids, began to amass a fleet of his own, but was taken down by Royal Navy ships. With but one ship left, Vance departed, and made for a life of pirating. Traveling along side of him are an Eagle named Athena, and his fiancee, Helen, who has also joined in his pirating. Upon his person, he carries four pistols, and two scimitars.

deemed pirate king when ray turned 18, but a little after that his fleet was decimated by 11 different fleets of pirates, all trying to become pirate king.

bio: Blake has no idea who his parents were. He raised himself on the filthy streets of a nearby city and is now a pirate. Having to steal things plenty of times in his childhood, he is a master of stealth. His only friend his a small monkey who sits on his shoulder that Blake has named Jack.
