Nick is probably the crew member who never takes anything seriously. He always is looking for a good time and sometimes that will get in the way with his work. Although he does joke around a lot, Nick can take some things seriously. He is an extrordinary sword maker, and is good at building things with his hands. Swords are really his best friends, and being able to make them has also taught Nick how to use them properly. He prefers these over guns and he really has no idea how to use a gun. If Nick could have one reason for staying on the ship it would probably be for the ladies. He's always flirting with the female pirates, but most of the time he's making an ass out of himself.
Backround;
Nick was born to a maid of a mother and a pirate of a father. After Nick was born, his father took him away to grow up as a pirate and that's exactly how he did. He was taught by his father for the first twelve years of his life before his father was killed by an English sailor. After this, Nick grew up switching from pirate ship to pirate ship. He has always joined anyone that was looking to defeat the British navy because of what happened to his father.

It's not modern times - maybe the early 1600s - 1700s.

Name; Captain Jane Ciracin (Sere-ah-sin).

Age; 27
Personality; Cin (as her crew calls her) is as blood thirsty as they come. Some call her reckless, but among her own crew she's only known as fearless. Depspite odds, she's always looking for a bigger adventure than the last and a high payoff. Her ship is called the Crimson Tide because following it is the blood of her slain. In ports she'll look for a shack-up as she lives for three things: booty, booze, and more 'booty'.
Backround; Not much is known about her past as she never speaks about it. The earliest she has ever spoke of is being drafted by the Scarlet Crusader when she was 14. When the Pirate Queen was killed she named Cin her protege and she became captain of the Crimson Tide when she was 17.

Name; Admiral Clayton Willoughby (will-uh-bee)
Role: Admiral in Her Majesty's Royal Navy
Age; 32
Personality; Very stern and serious. It is said that if the man were to ever smile his face would crack. He takes his work very seriously and personally sees to it that every pirate caught is either shot or hung with or without trial. In his heart he is just as blood thirsty as any pirate, but he finds a way to justify it in his own mind.
Backround; Drafted at 15 to the top fleet in the Royal Navy. Starting at the bottom, he showed a fearless resolve to work his way up through the ranks and did so very quickly. Named a Private at 16, a Captain at 20, a Commadore at 25, he now serves as one of the top admirals.

Personality; Benjamin is a very obedient soldier. He believes very strongly in the faith of the good Lord and strives to be a man of moral and upright values. Her serves with diligence and heart. He is loyal, brave, and still maintains a high level of compassion.
Backround; Both of his parents died when he was a child, his mother of consumption adn his father from alcohol. He found work as a cabin boy when he was 11 seeing the ocean as a way of freedom. He fell in love with the majestic waves and has known no other life since. He now serves under Admiral Willoughby and hopes to one day be an important man in the Navy Militia.

Name; Alvilda Le Maire

Role; Pirate

Age; 22

Personality; Alvilda is extremely proud. She takes great pride in her name, and in what she does. She has a desire to succeed, and seems to never be satisfied unless she excels in anything and everything she tries. Being skilled in combat, she enjoys to flaunt it, but never takes a life, unless completely neccesary. She does however, love to plunder and search out riches of wonderous expense. She is feirce and passionate, in every sense of the terms.

Backround; Alvilda was born to pirate; Jacques Le Maire, a young pirate of 21 years. Being at sea roughly all his life, Alvilda's mother was unknown. Her father took great pleasure in Piracy, exuding great pride in what he did. Her father was of French breeding, but life at sea caused him to lose his 'twang', only some words resembling that of a French born person. Alvilda is much the same now, only some words being accented with a French intonation.

Jacques had took it upon himself to train Alvilda in the ways he loved dearly; that of the pirate. She was five the first time she saw her father wield a sword, brandished with the crest of their 'Pirate King'. Her father was skilled, teaching her the precise ways in which to handle weaponry. Soon, she grew to love combat, constantly taking on the crew members in innocent facsimile battles. Her thirst for adventure growing with the years.

One night, as an Autumn breeze blew through their ship, a pillage was decided upon, and Jacques was to attend, as was every crew member. Of course, not Alvilda, as she was ten now, and female. Awaiting her fathers return impatiently, she searched about the ship, longing to find something that would interest her for a few hours. A subtle glint caught her eye, and she approached it with care. It was the most beautiful weapon she had seen, a golden gun with embroideries and all. Without hesitation, she snatched it, eagerly waiting to show her father.

When the men arrived back, her father was not among them. At the age of thirty one, her father had been taken down by a measely peasant man, trying desperately to wean them off. From that day forward, she vowed to fight alongside her fellow crew-men, and make a name for herself. She wanted nothing more than to show that women can be pirates too, women can plunder villages and steal gold from unsuspecting victims. Ruthlessness became part of her.

Her fiery red hair is always down, flowing past her shoulders and down her back. She loves to be extravagant, often having gold belts and holsters, along with ear-rings. Rarely seen without her gun or her sword close at hand.

He stands around 5'11 and is fairly well muscled. His eyes are blue and he has blonde hair that is meduim lentgh and swept to one side. He wears a cotton shirt with a leather vest over it and has light brown pants.

Sami you are accepted, and you also may make as many navy characters as you wish. You don't need to make character sheets for them, though.

Sure. The kidnapped daughter is going to be a main role though, so just make sure you're literate and everything. I'm not saying you aren't because I don't think I've ever roleplayed with you but yeah.
