Rubbing his brow the just as frustrated seaman looked toward the pirates leader, " Seriously 'buddy' I am also not in the mood. We were meant to deliver a supply of 'munitions to Dover for goodness sake, now look where we are, we've had no help from the dockers loading this ship and not to mention we have just been nie on adandoned by the rest of the fleet who are hell bent on trying to rescue Her Majesty Princess Sarah for personal gains. So frankly you can hold your horses until we get home, and you can grab a ship from one of the many fisherman that live in the area. "

Sighing gently he looked over at the red coats again, " Jones, " He chose the wrong words, 5 of his crewmen looked up awaiting orders, " No sorry, the Jones from Bala, " Four went back to being idle whilst the now steering Bala grunted, " We said no fighting and you then shove this lady, I suggest you apologise. "

A very gruff and growled, " Mae gan ddru gen i" came from the mouth of Bala's Jones, to which Dewi nodded and translated, " He's sorry. "

What a voyage this had been, and to toop it off the waves were starting to pick up in a choppy storm; Oh wonderful...

Alice stepped back a bit as the seaman let off some of his own steam about his day. It seemed as though both of them weren’t in the mood for any of this. Maybe she had chosen the wrong ship. She hated it when people were being friendly because then what she was doing seemed so much worse. Unless it was the navy then she doesn’t care how friendly they are. She seemed to feel sorry for him as she glanced around the rest of the crew and only then did she realise how tired most of them looked. Some appeared to haven’t slept for days, dark bags underneath the eyes.

When he ordered the giant to say sorry for shoving her, he seemed to mumble something she couldn’t understand. Alice looked over at David for the translation and smiled when he said that the giant was sorry. She hated being nice but since this crew was pretty worn out she decided not to be a pain in the butt anymore. “It’s okay no harm done…unlike for the other guy, sorry about that I purposely didn’t hurt him to hard,” she smirked before putting her pistols away. The other pirates followed, by putting down their own weapons. “So how long till we get to our destination?” Alice hopped onto the railing to take a seat, grinning happily again. She seemed to change her moods quite rapidly, one minute she can be a total bitch and the next she is the kindest person ever.

Turning to his worn out men, Dewi just shoved the question to them, " Sut hyn? " One younger lad put forward his view, " Un dydd? " but then yawned another one sitting closer by, " Beth? Oh Na, dau."
Dewi just looked back over to her, " A day, two daysat most if the storm sets in. " He couldn't help but smile as he noticed the child again, it was somehow refreshing to see a child for a change amongst worn out men and women quarreling.

The waves slapped the side of the Menai harshly, but she held together, the winds direction south not being too much a problem. The snores of a couple of Naval soldiers was clear cut even above the distant thunder. Smell of the long drunken alcohol clung firmly to the wood even above the salt in the air.

Holyhead iself was a small town for their desitination, it's only prominant feature was the size of the dock. Used primarily as port for Irish ships the inhabitants were often rougher than many pirates due to the ever changing political and cultural stance in their area. Unfortunately for Dewi, no-one of his crew was from there, close and similar areas but nothing in comparison.

Tori slapped the person who had helped her up away. "Quit the sweet talk," She snapped, before grabbing a rope. "See ya." She said, before slapping the fellow who had helped her up across the face. "That's for insulting me," she said, before slapping him again. "And that's so you won't look weird with one red cheek." She said, before throwing the rope, and walking across it. She looked back at the ship, before shouting, "Merci, et au revoir!" Tori said, before raising her hat and cutting the rope.

Alice just smirked as the girl slapped one of the other pirates, they deserved a good beating anyway for looking like a punch of morons. As she glanced around the place she spotted the door that lead down to the lower deck. She hopped of the ledge and casually walked towards it, stopping a few feet away from it as she glanced around again to see if anyone was watching. Alice opened the door very quietly as she slipped inside and started making her way down the stairs. Wonder what treasures these seamen have a board. Since it looks as though she wasn’t getting this boat she might as well find something else that was worth her while. She heard footsteps coming towards her and quickly turned her back to one of the crew as he walked passed so that he wouldn’t see her face. She then continued on through the small corridor, her eyes open wide for anything that would be easily taken and would sell for a lot.

Dewi looked over the childs escapade in a half hearted manner, five of his men were sleeping, two in the cargohold and three above deck. The ship was nothing more than a box with sails. The upper was simple as many other ships whilst the second, lower and interior level was nothing more than an empty space with cubicles. The small subic areas only harboured a cannon each, and that alone was nothing special, at best it could fire mediocre range and power. The wooden box was the only thing that may have looked to be anything of interest, it was situated nearer the bow and stretched from port to starboard. In summary it was a simple ship designed for ten crewmen and short trips in shallow water.

One redcoat on watch chuckled at the child, but backed down his supposed heroic moment of saving her from falling when his captain shot him a glance, returning instead to a friendly game of Gin Rummy with a pirate. Bala was begining to drift off at the wheel, only really awoken when a he noticed a star on the horizon, very small, very bleak flashing in a steady rhythm, " Dewch yma.. " he spoke as Dewi wandered past to change his watch, but soon Jones stopped and replied, " Beth? " The burly man pointed ahead, " Llong? " The captain shook his head, " Might be, either that or Southstack again, " Speaking a little louder he sent the message of possible ship around so that each member on board knew the current affairs, " Steady boys and girls we may have another friend on the seas, either that or we'll be at shore in no time ".

William smiled as in thanks for her rescue, Tori slapped her rescuer across the face. As she walked back across the rope, William stepped aside. He just smiled as she shouted French across to her rescuers. She cut the rope, and they launched away. "Well done." He said, before turning away.
Tori smiled as William congratualted her. He was a true gentleman.

Sarah couldn’t help but shudder at the first thing she said about her men. She hadn’t really thought about it at all, but now that she was thinking about it she became quite frightened. She also didn’t want any harm to come to the new friend she had made on the other ship. When she was slapped lightly Sarah became enraged, but kept her mouth shut. She didn’t want any more trouble.

“Don’t touch me!” Sarah said to the man angrily as she tried yanking her arm from him, but failed from being freed from his grip. She sighed as she followed him as he led her to the brig. She wished she wouldn’t be locked in the brig, she wished she could roam around like she could on the other ship. The brig was foul smelling and Sarah almost felt like she was going to puke, but she still kept her head held up high, trying to show as much courage as she had.

Alice made her way through the lower deck, finding nothing interesting only boxes of cargo. Some filled with what looked like rice or something like it. She glanced out one of the small windows seeing the fleet disappearing behind them. Great, next time its better to take a larger ship. She sighed before heading back up to the deck this time not caring if anyone saw her. “So what do you guys do here for entertainment?” She asked openly for anyone to answer.

Smiling at what was now clearly the Southstack light house in the far distance, the captain walked down past a couple of his sleeping men as the pirate asked her question, " Entertainment? Thats an easy one, we sing. " Chuckling slightly he placed his hands behind his back, " We sing and we drink, if we were not in these red uniforms many would consider us pirates. "

He stared out to the sea as small fishing boats came into clear view, these were the ones the local inhabitants could not afford to moor in the harbour's docks, resorting to the more rocky waters as shelter. The relatively small Southstack lighthouse was the face of a large hillside that stood daunting any sailor. The horizon was hard to see, there seemed to be no skyline, just a cliff and clouds.

The gentle ambiance was insidiously broken apart as from the moment Dewi said sing, a ripple of chorus moved through his men, even the ones not paying attention joned in having sung the song so many times. Laughing gently and joining in with his men, Dewi watched as Y Mochyn Du swept the naval soldiers; they sang it three times before finally ending in a cheer.

"Drop anchor! I'm not setting into dock with outlaws! " Turning to the Piratess Captain he smiled, " Nothing pesonal I just don't want you dead. " As HMS Menai slowly moved to a crawl and gentle stop.

Alice watched the Dewi walk passed her before stopping still and staring out to sea as he spoke. She could see the lighthouse and followed him standing right next to him with her hands on her back too. Smiling as she looked out towards the upcoming small boats, “The drinking sounds like a lot of fun,” she joked. Alice turned back around as watch as the whole crew joined in on there song she couldn’t help but chuckle a bit at the amusement, they were actually quite good.

When he spoke saying he didn’t want her dead she just grinned cheekily turning to her men to round it up and head back into their little boat. She then turned her attention back to Dewi and moved closer towards his so that she was able to whisper in his ear. “You do not have to explain yourself, I know exactly what you mean,” she moved away from him so he could see her face as she flirtatiously gave him a wink. She then gave him a salute, “I’m sure we will meet again on shore…probably at the local pub.” She smirked before hopping over the railing and then climbing down the rope to their boat.

After all of the pirate crew had begun rowing themselves away, HMS Menai took off again full sail toward the north. Steadily they went around the mountainous shore to be met by another fleet of naval ships heading Westward at a very prominant speed. Aboard where red and blue coats, but as far as anyone was aware, Menai had completed her shipping and was returning home for docking and its crew due to their leave.

The harbour was massive to say the least, docks stretching far in every direction, so easy to say parking spaces wern't hard to find. Mooring the ship alongside a small fleet of other shipping boats, Dewi and his crew departed as a handful of young boys went aboard to start scrubbing under the supervision of a very burly man.

" Kings Arms Bachgyn! Meet in an hour! " His responce shook a cheer as the crew rushed off like headless chickens to meet and greet their families before heading down the local pub.

William watched as most of the other pirates rushed off to go drink. Most of his ship also wanted to go, so he sailed the HMS Dolphin into port. Almost all of his pirates, including Tori, rushed towards the bar, so he followed them. He smiled as Tori got drunk and started singing at the top of her voice, joining in with most of the pirates. Luckily, they all stayed sober enough to manage to get back onto the boat, though Tori was still singing Yo Ho, A pirates life for me! over and over again. He smiled as some of his pirates tripped over the doorway, another reason why he didn't drink.

The small boat made its way to the shore, Alice watched as the cargo boat sailed away. She thought that it was probably best if they don’t bring the boat to shore and since she wanted to get rid of these low lives this would be the best time. She stood up, “well this it for me lads…its time for us to go our separate ways.” Before they could even answer she dived into the water and started to swim to the shore. They weren’t that far off and once she got closer she rode the waves in. Alice walked out of the water, her clothes saturated as she gave her crew a small wave before disappearing into the bushes.

Alice kept hidden as she moved through the trees towards the civilisation; she would have to find a change of clothes something to disguise herself in. Just then she heard laughter coming from own of the homes, it appeared as though the people where having a little gathering. She noticed all their washing hanging outside to dry, most of it was woman clothing; dresses and blouses. Perfect. She smirked before sneaking quietly towards the washing lines; she grabbed one of those traditional dresses with a corset. The only problem now was shoes. Alice raced around to the front glancing in through the windows to make sure everyone was distracted. Outside on the porch stood a row of shoes, ranging from women’s high heels to men’s wellington boots. She tried a few of them on until she found a pair that fitted her before racing back into the bushes. Alice stripped off to her under garments before putting on the dress; it was a little too tight as she held her breath to tie the corset up. Alice then dagged a small hole to hide her clothes in, marking it so she would remember where they were. She reloaded and then strapped one of her pistols on to her thighs just in case. She then brushed her fingers through her hair a bit to make it look more suitable and neat.

Once she was finished Alice headed into town, casually walking along the footpath like she was a citizen. Along the port was where most the action to place, action meaning drinking. As she walked along she came to a sudden halt her eyes lit up with joy staring up at the tavern sigh before entering. The atmosphere inside was the usual, there was drinking, singing and more drinking.

'Stand-to, stand-to!' screamed James as he paced along the upper-deck. The large bell, that hugged the sheer face that led to the helm, rung aloud as a marine slammed the steel hammer against it. He continued, slamming it again and again so that all the crew would be roused to their stations. The main deck had hardly been empty but now a seemingly endless stream of men spilled from the hatches. Well-dressed red coated marines began to form a thin line spread across the deck, small boys known as 'powder-monkeys' had begun to shuttle gun-powder to the deck cannons, all of which had been manned by nearby sailors.

Once again Captain Williams pressed the periscope to his eye and the glass was filled with image of the small settlement that clung to the isolated island. He had used all his political contacts and influence to find out the location. The map had cost him dearly. He had spend a small fortune on bribes and made promises that he knew he could never keep. It was a gamble to say the least, the question that hung on the Captains mind was whether it would pay off.

The small settlement was the pirate haven of Barbara and had so far eluded the might of the British Navy. James knew that his ship alone could not take the port, but the Glory could hold her own against most ships, especially pirates. His plan was coming together all he needed to find out from word of mouth which ship held the Kings daughter, maybe if he was lucky she would be in the port. Although a rescue attempt would be bordering on impossible.

Alice strutted her stuff towards the bar getting a few glances from some of the men she ignored them. Ordering herself a drink as she took her seat, she purposely crossed her legs and sat up straight to appear to be more like a lady. The dress she wore had a large cut that lead from the bottom up to her thigh, revealing her long and slim legs as she crossed them. Taking the glass of beer in her hand she smiled politely at the men sitting beside her before pouring the whole thing down her throat. They stared at her stunned for a moment as she just smiled at them. “I was thirsty,” she commented. She twirled around on her chair glancing around the room for an easy target, someone she could manipulate and get something valuable from them. Just then she noticed a very young looking sailor standing over near the corner drinking his beer with a few buddies. He looked quite new to all of this; she made her smile even more. “Excuse me,” Alice said to them at the bar as she walked over towards the sailor. He looked up as she walked towards him quite surprised that someone actually wanted to talk to him. “Well hello sailor,” she spoke seductively as she softly smiled at him before going on. “I haven’t seen you around here before,” she just guessed and hoped he wasn’t a regular.

A smewhat large group of ruffians made their way down the dirt track of a road, singing, jeering and shouting. They made their way to the King Arm's, a little way from the typical sailor-navy-wannabe-fishermen on the docks to the back street at the end of a row of terraces. Ten of them were the crew of the HMS Menia earlier, seven of whom were boasting loudly about the dead man the cabin boys had found on board; a story that had started as a simple small one man attack and ending up to be a full fleet battle that took its toll on them all. However not one of them seemed to tell the truth.

Entering the dimly lit public house each one took usual positions apart from the five or so that hung outside for a little while, it was nothing of great importance just a little bit of a chat between them all. Inside however the drinks were being passed around with the singing starting; Y Mochyn Du was the starter followed closely by Cyfri'r Geifr. To the lads outside, and any other passerby it wan't a pub of rowdy drunkards but a home to the village's male voice choir as the tones of the King's Arms rang out each time the door opened. There wasn't a woman or girl in sight in this atmospheric building, it was totally for the boys with just one exception, Gaenor the barmaid who often went into daze whenever the lads sang.

Dewi and his four brothers outside finished up their chat and headed inside, grabbing a seat in the middle for the room. The now walmed up group had the influence of the tales told to them of a heroic victory of ten versus one hundred and twenty. Seeing the captain of the battle had them flare up in Men of Harlech; louder and stronger than any of the songs before hand.

“I-I don’t live around here, this is just one of our stops,” he stuttered at first as he spoke. All of the sudden one of the men he was standing with him wrapped his arm around her, “want to see our boat?” He slurred, as a waft of alcohol escaped his lips. His breath nearly knocked her off her feet as she coughed a little to clear her throat. “Nah I’m good,” she smiled; she wasn’t going to let herself get harassed about some drunk sailor. Seriously, this is not my week, she thought as she little tried to escape from underneath the man’s arm. “Oh cooome on…it’s a very big boat….” they all chuckled, the newbie joined in a little but she could see he didn’t really know why they were laughing. “So why don’t we round this up and get the hell out off here,” with his arm still around her as he turned to head to the door she turned in the other direction and slipped away under his arm. Feeling a kind of relief which quickly disappeared again as she felt a pull on her arm, “this way sweetheart.” Alice hesitated this surely wasn’t her plan; she was the one who was supposed to be using them not the other way around. She bite her lip remembering she still had her pistol with her, a smile spread across her face again knowing that maybe this would end in her favour. “Let’s go then,” April smirked before she followed the men outside. It was pretty cold outside as the walked along the docks towards some of the larger boats.
