The elementals that threaten our existence have come down to a few, rumors being that they carry the last five key elements that, together, destroy the human race. People be warned that these beings are extremely dangerous and that you must all keep an open eye out. The authorities have been scanning the radars, looking for any abnormal sightings, but so far, we have none of the remaining five.
Mr. K. H. Leway of the International Global Protections Act has us informed that there shall be no peace on Earth until all have been vanquished. He says that there is a good chance that all the wars will end, technology will advance, and we will all be able to live our lives the way god intended.
We have ventured many a distance, and sure we have fought, but we rely on each other for survival. Not only will it be hazardous to our health if we leave, but it will be hazardous to the entire human race. Let us face the facts that we see before us.
The five of us are the last of our kind, the keepers of the Earth, and believe me, we have tried rebuilding the civilization that has once kept this world in one piece. Like a puzzle, we all have to figure out how we can co-exist amongst the others, those who overpower us. The mere humans without the abilities we keep.
I can't believe how torn apart this world is, how the belief of one person can destroy what people hold tight to. I myself have read the papers, watched the news, even stood in front of this Mr. Kenneth H. Leway. He is a great speaker, that man. I almost had myself mesmerized into the fact that elementalists such as myself are terrible. That doesn't last long.
If only they could see how important this race is to the world. Us elementals face the pressure of keeping the world from chaos, from letting it rot and melt, along with everyone in it. If they could only see what our purpose is... but this one man, this K. H. Leway, as he is so fondly known as, has blinded them from the truth, has blinded himself from the truth. If only the five left of the hunt can prove we are all good, then maybe. Just maybe, the Earth might be saved. Too bad lives will have to be lost along the way.
There are five elements, and they won't really be the elements you find on that periodic table the teachers so happily hand you. I'm sure you have heard of them, what with all the terror that is going around.
I myself have the spirit element. The most important I believe, though if you were to ask the others, they would find something to back up their opinion on how their element is the most important. I think that started the whole feud that ended up in our endangerment.
Spirit is us all. No doubt about it, it is the touch, the feeling. The laughter inside on a sunny day, and the tears you cry when something is wrong. It makes up the elements, and that is what everyone cannot always see. Spirit has a way of wrapping itself around you, giving you life, but allowing you to still feel pain. It's a bit more complex than most seem to see it as. I should know though, I have full power over it. I can create a field around me, giving me the invisibility that allows us not to see the spirit inside us all. I can see one's thoughts, change them (but I won't). The only thing is that I can't control others, that's not the spirit's doing. I can protect myself and others, and with that I can enfold the Earth from destruction.
The other four elements are water (as you all know as a compound element, mixed with two Hydrogen atoms and one Oxygen, but it is a key element to life), fire (also a reaction caused from the joining of Carbon Dioxide and Oxygen. Who would've thought?), earth, and wind. They are all important in their own way, and that's what the elementals have to take care of.
Long ago, we were once a large community, one that called itself Mother Nature. No one knows of that part, and it is a huge mistake on our behalf. Considering the tight position we are in. The only way is to find something to change the mind of this K. H. Leway, since he is obviously ruler of the world, and the key to our survival.
