Okay, so I posted the topic "If We Made Sense" a couple of hours ago and no one has joined yet. I worked really hard on it (well, as hard as I can manage when it comes to writing, the process is very relaxed for me after all) and no one seems very interested. It doesn't have a major plot or anything but I put enough elements in there to entice someone into joining, at least in my opinion.
Now that I read over this I think I do sound a little whiney but I'm not trying to be, I'm just asking if anyone would be interested in joining. The link will be provided below and if you go to it and read through it could you please tell me why no one is interested, or join if you are.

I’ll let you in on a little secret. One can be a literary gangster (like me) who crafts prose like Cubans roll cigars and still people might not join your RP. Writing has nothing to do with it. People are sheep and will shuffle into the breech at their leisure. Sit back, have a drink and make some pizza rolls.

Be patient? Haha, my mom would laugh at that one. But I'll give it a try, thanks for the advice.

Besides being patient, what I would suggest is for you to join in on a few existing stories, and develop a social circle that will give others a chance to get to know you better.

There have been many new members over the past few days, and many wonderful ideas, but we can't always have our cake and eat it too. If new visitors banded together and shared a few ideas, I'm sure a plot would get off to a great start. Try messaging a few other members who have recently joined - or better yet, help them advance their story, even though you might not like it as much.

I guess it boils down to what you're looking for. We all have to give a little, and take a little. Hopefully more giving. XD Good luck.
