Darkrai. No Pokemon in Kanto, in Johto, in Orre, Hoenn, or Sinnoh is more mysterious than him. None are more feared, either. What little is known about Darkrai is this; every full moon, he appears in the mortal realm and begins to roam around whatever area he has appeared in, seemingly drawn to sleeping creatures, bringing horrifying, traumatic nightmares to all he encounters. While he disappears after the sun has risen the following morning, his influence can still be felt in the areas he visited that night: there is a drastic increase of Ghost and Dark type pokemon in the area for several weeks, and those who were given nightmares by him suffer from these recurring nightmares for years to come. Because of this, he is widely thought of to be a malevolent creature, sometimes regarded as the god of nightmares and darkness.

Recently, many legendary pokemon have been appearing much more frequently. They all seem to be searching for something. Perhaps not coincidentally, Darkrai has also been materializing more often, even appearing on nights when there isn't a full moon. Ghost and Dark type populations have been rising worldwide, so much that they are moving into human settlements. They also seem to be searching for something. Even those who haven't been crossed by Darkrai in their sleep are being afflicted by his nightmares. Something is happening, and whatever it is, Darkrai seems to be the crux of it.

There is concern that these events will endanger the trainers and masters partaking in the League of Champions battle tournament in Ever Grande City, Hoenn.

STORY SPECIFICS
- You can play as one Human trainer and/or one Legendary pokemon. Only one of each, however. If you choose to be only a Human or only a Legendary, that's allowed, but you can be both if you like. As a Human, your objective is to try and figure out what's going on with the Legendaries and how to stop it.
- As a Legendary, you side with either Arceus, who claims to want to protect mortals from Darkrai's evil, or Darkrai, who wants desperately to defeat Arceus, although his stance on humans and mortal pokemon is unknown. He does not seem to be entirely evil, however: there is clearly more to him than most think.
- We all start off just as a match is about to begin in the League of Champions tournament is about to begin. As a Human, You can either be one of the people partaking in the battle or a member of audience. You cannot play as your Legendary until I give the word. Don't worry; it won't take long for me to do so.

Bio: Registeel doesn't much care for humans. He doesn't much care for Arceus's old school ideals and sensibilities, either. Darkrai is bolder, progressive, unafraid of meaningless short term consequences. He wants a better future for the Legendaries sooner, and Darkrai seems more likely to bring it- and he isn't worried about what all the little mortals think of the means so long as the ends are satisfactory. Registeel likes that, and he's willing to do everything he can to help do it. Analytical, ruthless in his belief in efficiency, and quite confident of himself, Registeel does not tolerate failure.

Bio: Johnathan has been training with his Pokemon for years. He started with a Growlithe that he named Blaze, Blaze was always fired up and ready for battle and the two rose through the ranks defeating trainer after trainer, It was hard for them sometimes, but they managed. And after Johnathan evolved Growlithe into Arcanine and the rest of Johnathan's team became stronger they set their eyes for a bigger prize, Johnathon decided being Champion was what he wanted. Johnathan tried when he was sixteen, but failed in the final round. Now that Johnathon is seventeen he plans on becoming Champion no matter what. Johnathon is now determined and will face any challenge.

Bio: Aisling has always been a very shy and quiet girl, despite her Leafeon Rosebud's attempts to get her to make her more open and personable. She likes to keep to herself, and most of her team respects that, most especially her Sableye, Glint, who is equally as reserved. She cares deeply about her pokemon and fiercely protective of them, content to have them only as peaceful friends, so much that she doesn't like them battling for fear that they might get hurt. She has a very deep bond to her Gardevoir, Avantasia, who was the first pokemon she ever received; the two are as close as sisters. Looks good, aside from the fact that we don't know if Darkrai is actually evil yet; it could very well just be a lie concocted by Arceus to rally the others to his cause. Darkrai could just be getting a bad rap, for all we know. Perhaps he has convinced Suicune of this, and she serves him in hopes of clearing his name?
