"Willing yourself to be all powerful doesn't make it so. And the fact of the matter is that the Archangels will always have the upper-hand, and they will always know it. So we have to look at the cards we've ben dealt and find a way around them, a way that only us Creators can use, us specifically. There is a vast difference between having the will of the mind and having the will of the body. I'll tell you now--it's pretty damn hard to keep fighting and keeping your will up when you're being hung like some criminal. And I can tell, just looking around this room, who has had to face them." Looking to Jared, she said, "Think of it like this. It's like we're all writing a story, and it's all converging at one point, and at that point is the Major Archangel Panel. Thirteen Archangels, waiting and ready to get rid of us all. They are the ultimate beginning and end, everyone's fate will depend on them, and they hold every secret about us, every little fact, every last character flaw, right down to our sleeping habits. Believe me, they know how to deal with us when they must. They know how to hurt us... They know what to do to make us give in..."
Standing up slowly, she said, "There is no way to recreate them... There is no way to undermine their authority... When one stands against them, it's just a thorn in their side that they quickly remove. One against thirteen is nothing. But a group... Even a small one... is a lot more than nothing..."
Then something Daniel said seemed to click. Looking at him, she said, "That's it... God..." Looking excited now, she said, "When they first came for me, they told me I was an abomination--that I was playing God when I had no right to... Now... What if we're supposed to not just play God... What if we are?"
