Raviel leaped out of the wall and landed on the floor. He walked towards Dorian and grabbed him by the shoulder, making sure he won't be injured. The captain knew if he did something wrong to the Master's new favorite, he would get a scolding or something much worse.

" Get back here boy! " he pulled Dorian and restrained him. " You are not allowed to enter the Master's room without his consent. "

He looked at the Master and sighed. Immortality had changed the old friend he once knew. Raviel looked at him and bowed. " I apologize Master for this boy's attitude. I shall bring him to his room now. "

"Let me go!" Dorian cried, struggling to free himself from Raviel's grasp, baring his small fangs as he snapped, "Release me immediately!"

Arian didn't fight back as the Master hit her. she had never been struck by him as long as she had been there, but she knew better than to fight back. Dorian burst through the doors catching Arian's attention Raviel following not long afterwords Arian turned to the two.
"Get out!" she roared.

She had told Dorian not to intrude and she would go to any measure to keep him out of harms way. she bared her fangs at the two and waited for them to leave even though she couldn't stand because the Master was in her way.

"No!" Dorian cried, shaking his head, his curls surrounding his face as his eyes filled with tears. "I won't go! I won't!"

Lucian spun from his spot over Arian and stalked towards the blonde boy picking him up and growling.
"Do as your told boy. I didn't summon you."
Opening the door Lucian placed him outside the door and turned to Raviel. His blood was boiling and he couldn't sustain his anger very well. He snarled.
"keep him out!"
He slammed the door and locked it turning back to Arian, a dangerous glint in his eyes.

Dorian couldn't even believe it--he had been picked up and set outside and ordered to leave. Like he was some... some... slave!

Then it hit him like a slap to the face--that's exactly what he was in this place... He had just forgotten... Feeling his shoulders droop slightly as he realized his one brave deed had come and gone, Dorian allowed himself to be led back to the harem, stopping as he was about to be taken to his room. "No, I... I need to speak with Rebecca..." he said softly.

Arian bowed her head, the lie pouring through her lips unrehearsed. She needed to stay in the castle for Dorian's sake, at least until he was free.
"I'm sorry Master. I drained them all. If you wish I can go find you more."

She looked up at him through her eyelashes, though she wished to stay, she would submit to him, it was all she could do anymore, follow along with what he wished her to do. she could feel the blood running down her cheek, and a bruise forming on her neck, but she made no move in hinting that she was in pain. She kept her head bowed, readying herself for another blow.

((eeee, sorry all. I was at school all day today. Didn't mean to leave anyone hanging))

Rebecca moaned softly from the floor of her room. She had yet to feed that day, and she could feel herself grow weak. Was this her master's punishment? To starve her?

She slowly tried to get up, the room spinning around her. She had to find blood, had to remain strong for Dorian. she was sure she heard tapping at her door, but she could no longer tell if it was reality or her dreams.

The tapping at her door became a panicked pounding as Dorian tried to call out to her, to get her to answer the door, rapping his knuckles raw on the door. "P-please, Rebecca! Please answer me!"

Rebecca struggled to stand and wobbled her way over to the door. She opened it, leaning heavily on the frame.

"Dorian, what's wrong? come on in, quickly," she said. She tried to pull herself together for the boy, putting on a smile though she felt like crying. She was scared she'd be forced to beg the Master for blood in order to survive. It wouldn't help dorian if she faded away.

Lucian bared his teeth at the back of her head, but bought the lie. He refused to believe his brothers pride and joy would do such a thing as attempt to let all of his slaves free. He reached under her chin and took a hold of her neck once more and lifted her up, pulling her to a couch that sat against one of the walls. His face was still stone-like with the anger he still held and his eyes still icy, but all he did was sit her on the couch before he retreated to his bathroom where he slammed his fist into the wall once more. He took a few deep breaths before grabbing a towel and running it under warm water.

He walked back out to his room and over to the couch that Arian was in and keeled down in front of her. He lifted her chin and inspected the wounds he inflicted on her. He began to clean them out eyes not moving from the cuts on her face.
"I will replace your dresses. The green one, and this one."

He stood and dropped the bloodstained towel on the floor. He looked Arian over before walking over to his bed.
"You may leave Arian."

Dorian stepped inside quickly, noticing she was looking worse than before. Reaching into his sleeve, he pulled out a small black tablet, holding it out to her. "Here, take this... It won't get you as good as new, I'm afraid, but you'll be okay for now... I have a plan..." He tried to look brave, his blue eyes glinting as he gazed at her.

Rebecca took the tablet, letting it disolve on her tongue. She pulled him in the room, feeling a little of her strength return.

"What plan do you have," she asked.

Dorian moved to sit on her couch as he said quickly, "That banquet you were talking about, I remember my father talking about it, saying how it was always such a bore, that he hated going, but he always goes. If we do perform, we could create some kind of distraction and escape to my father's carriage. I know he would take you in in a heartbeat and then the master could do nothing about it. And I spoke to the master... I explaned to him what you were doing, talking about making a routine, that you were afraid I was not doing well and that you didn't want my health to be compromised... I... I think he bought it, because he said it would be a good idea..."

Arian sat quietly on the couch as he cleaned out her cuts. She wasn't sure what was going through his mind so she didn't say a word, even as he told her he was replacing her dresses. She bowed and left the room after he dismissed her. She stared at the floor for a moment before she made her way down to Rebecca's room.

Knocking on the door, she realized she didn't really know what she had come for, she just came on impulse. She knocked again and spoke softly, hoping to get the motherly woman's attention.
"Rebecca...It's Arian..." Her own name felt weird on her tongue, as she never spoke it often.

Rebecca hugged Dorian. "that is a brilliant plan. No doubt, your father will recognize you when you dance."

She smiled with glee. This was perfect! She hadn't thought she'd actually get to escape too! They would have to keep it quiet, though. The walls had ears.

there was a light tapping at her door and, "Rebecca...It's Arian."

"Arian, come on in!"

Dorian's face lit up at the sound of Arian's knocking, knowing that had meant that the master had let her go... He made a point that after he finished planing tonight, to go see the master again, to speak with him privately... perhaps apologize for bursting in when he was uninvited...

Arian took a deep breath before pushing open the door. She felt as if she didn't belong in the room with Dorian and Rebecca. She felt tears come to her eyes but she blinked them back. She didn't know why, but she felt horrible. She stepped into the room and looked at both Rebecca and Dorian, trying to keep her cool, while making an attempt to find something to say. She turned to dorian and bowed.
"I'm sorry Dorian...for yelling at you." she straightened her back and turned to Rebecca, still trying to hold back the tears, she felt the bruises and cuts on her face and neck throbbing slightly, but the one on her stomach hurt so much, it was hard to keep herself standing straight.
"I'm sorry Rebecca... for causing you so much trouble..."

She knew she should turn and leave the room but she couldn't bring herself to do so so she simply stood there looking at Rebecca's lips in fear that if she looked her in the eye that the tears that threatened to spill out, would do so.

Rebecca stood up and gave Arian a gentle hug. "It's all right. You did nothing wrong. We're all trying to survive here." She held on to Arian, slowly rocking at her waist, trying to sooth the girl. "It will all be over soon. After the banquet, it will all be over. I promise."

she knew she could trust Arian. The girl had put her life on the line for them. They would all get out of here together.

When Arian finished speaking, Dorian instantly got up, closing the door and taking her gently by the arm, pulling her towards the couch. "Come and sit down, I never got to tell you my plan to get us out of here..."
