Name: Kuno MacIchee
Age: 30
Sex: female

Appearance: Half Irish half Japanese, with long, straight black hair (what else?). Also has a small, flat nose, almond shaped eyes that curve in towards the nose, and are very large for an Oriental. Her irises are pretty much, for all intents and purposes, black. From a picture, you would not guess her father was Irish, and from the radio, you would not guess her mother was Japanese. She has her father's accent, which wasn't helped by the fact that she's married to an Irish man.

Profession: Teacher
Spiritual Powers: she knows there's something, she just can't tell what. Although that might have something to do with her being pregnant.
Gear: laptop, its charger, iTouch, its charger, Nintendo DS, its charger, and a pen just in case.

History: has been haunted by vivid (moreso than her normal dreams) nightmares of chaotic messes, and just plain wacky stuff since she can remember. Her mother died before she knew her, but she did not have a single parent. Her father lived in the same neighborhood as five of his his seven brothers and sisters, and his parents, and many of their cousins, in Reston, Virginia. One of the two sisters who lived further away lived in Washington D.C., and has quite a history with the paranormal and macabre side of the world. She sends Kuno, as well as all her other nieces and nephews, lucky charms and ouiji boards and the like (not the cheap kind you get at Wal Mart either) all the time, although most of the family thinks that the whole mess is nonsensical. Kuno's father had actually had an eighth sibling, a brother named Nat, who died at an early age. He died before Kuno's father had been born. In fact, before most of Kuno's uncles and aunts had been born. Only her oldest and second oldest uncles remember Nathaniel, who was between them in age, and even that is just early childhood memories. Kuno's grandparents refuse to talk about him. Speaking of Kuno's grandparents, her maternal grandparents were filthy stinking rich, and offered to send Kuno (at eleven) to a very expensive Anglo-Japanese school in (guess where?) Japan. Being kind of poor, and this being a very prestigious school, the MacIchees accepted, kissed Kuno goodbye, and shipped her off to Japan. However, this resulted in Kuno going to school in Japan. Anyone who knows what Japanese schools are like will agree that this was a cultural faux pas on the MacIchees' part. When Kuno first came to Japan, the nightmares were even more frightening and lifelike than before, although still strange and bizarre. However, due to lack of sleep, they soon went away. Kuno came back an eighteen year old schoolbot, crammed with knowledge and skills in the programming and application of computers, and fluent in Japanese. She also could speak English without an accent, but she reverted quite quickly to her family's voice, because she liked it better.
Dang, this is long.
Well, anyway, upon reentry to the States, Kuno's nightmares came back full throttle, but were never as strong as when she had first gone to Japan. She became a computer science/calculus teacher at a school in Michigan, because hey, if she taught in Virginia, she'd be out of the story.

So can I just sort of stick my character in, like the others, or should I PM you some stuff?

You can learn stuff about their history and the like in the role-play, which is why I sometimes leave histories blank .

Appearance: A fairly weak bodied person, Ariana could easily be hurt but her power is in her mind. Studying the occult for most of her life has given her an advantage when it comes to 'dealing' with such menaces.

Profession: A hunter, if you could call her that. She tends to come up with the ideas.

Gear: A bag o' salt, bone charms, a highly modified Hardballer ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AMT_Hardballer ) that is designed to fire silver bullets and rock salt, ultraviolet flashlight and a cell phone.

History (As long or short as you want):
At a young age Ariana had always wondered about ghosts and the like. She was very superstitious and always had her bedrooms entry points lined with salt (to protect. Note: Salt is a sign of purity in many cultures, therefore it keeps the bad ghosts out ?) and would never travel around without a little sack full.

She tried to learn more and more, before she finally got a contact. "The Kidd" as she knew him was the first person she met able to answer her questions. She began to study paranormal things, meeting more people from "The Kidd" and taking in as much information as she could she now partners up with him on many occasions to give him a little hand.

OK, if anyone starts trying to fire silver bullets without a specially designed gun, they're getting flamed. Just saying. Silver's melting point is far lower than that of lead, and you'd just end up making your gun a silvery mess on the inside, and useless. Of course, I know practically nil about different kinds of guns, so if there's one that'll fire silver without melting it...
And other stuff. Not just silver.
(Hey, you go watch Punkin Chunkin in Delaware, you get a whole new view of artillery.)

Yes, VM did mention that the thing fires salt bullets, and I have no idea what salt will do to a gun...
But I saw that and that reminded me of this little issue that cropped up in another RP (course, the offending character just killed my vampire with a silver knife instead...) and I thought I'd try to nip it in the bud.

I must say, I have never understood why people insist on having separate threads for OOC and IC. OOC is only a problem for new people trying to read through the previous pages of the RP, in order to catch up, and that can be avoided by putting OOC in notation. But I guess it bothers some people. Personally, having to switch from thread to thread is more annoying for me, but hey, it's IW's RP, not mine...

So Irish Wolf, are we ready to get this RP started or what?

i dont wish to join this RP as good as it is its not my taste lol i just wanted to comment on the unbelievable detail in Jadeling Hawkins posts its almost as if your there so yeah basically you rock i think you should plan a book no id buy it and obvious compliments to evryone else on this RP

Oh geez I'm sorry... I'm new to this site and I didn't realize people did an OOC page separate from the storyline. Oops. Lesson learned. Anyhow, I think I'm caught up. Shouldn't be too hard to jump in. Thanks.

Part of my character's ability is that she can foresee bad events. Would it be somewhat God-moding if I write into the story descriptions of bad events she sees coming up? Not like a character dying or anything, but maybe a ghost about to attack or something vague-like similar to that?
