At the sign of a riot happening in his city, Lord Cyrus climbed off his watching post on the tallest tower of his castle. He turned to look at the guards with his deep purple eyes, the only cue given for them to follow. Upon his shoulder sat a hawk, in his hand clutched a note. The note had finally reached Ulnaus, stating that the General was causing chaos at Sthyr. "I wont let this happen." The hybrid snapped out in anger.
He stormed down the spiraling stair case, the guards hurridly trying to follow at his heels. "Not again." The werewolf stated, tossing the note to the side as he made it out the door of the tower to the outside gardens of his home. No time to stop to smell the roses, quite literally, Lord Cyrus' hands lit up. Tattoos of eye symbols burned into each began to come to life as he called upon his bodyguards. Not like the huge man needed them but it was a rule of his that each Lord would have bodyguards.
One of the guards led up his horse which Cyrus mounted up on immediately and turned his head to see the bodyguards rushing forward and standing at attention. "Time to visit the people it seems." His lips pulled up into a snarl as he kicked his horse forward, rushing down the long stone driveway towards the gates of his castle. The heavy doors were being pushed open slowly so Cyrus had to squeeze by in order to come out.
Luckily for him the castle was right in the middle of the town square and the riot was still going on. He pulled his horse to a stop, his purple eyes gazing down at the humans in pity. The person who started the riot shut up immediately and turned to look at Lord Cyrus. "You all should be ashamed of yourself." He dismounted, heavy plated boots stamping down onto the ground as he walked up to where the man had stood to get their full attention. "You're letting one single person judge this for you? We are currently investigating the recent deaths of your people to find the killer. We aren't sitting around cheering on people who are breaking the laws of the peace treaty, trust me."
He pulled off his thick black cloak, twisting it around and tossing it towards one of his guards. He had plated pants and boots but his shirt was just his undershirt. A white billowing shirt with a string loosely tied where the V of the shirt was down his front. "As for your General. He has fallen to the need of power. He wants to destroy me in order to become the head of The Council. He wants to kill every race besides humans and I can guarantee you this, he means the half breeds too. I see several of you that aren't fully human in the crowd. Do you honestly want another war to start?!" He called out to the crowd, his lips curling in a sneer at the mention of the word. "I have worked hard to try to stop the 1000 year old war for not just my peoples benefit but the entire kingdom as a whole. Unfortunately for humans, they don't have the benefit to age passed 100 like the rest do. You were one of the most struggling, having to make your own children go out into the battlefield the longer the war continued. Your children had to fight well seasoned generals. New generals had to be made because your old ones were having to retire. Listen to yourselves! You're trying to start another war and I can guarantee that it wont be race again race but the kingdom against humans! Stop this madness. Instead of praising the crazed General, you should be booing him!"
