[it's not closed off, the rule has always been that with exception of Inuyasha who can go through the well whenever everyone else has to have the shikon no tama to go through, in this story Naraku is dead, Kikyo is gone, and the shikon is purified, therefore no one but Inuyasha could go through. If you want to go through it use your imagination and come up with something.]

Kagome looked up into Inuyasha's eyes almost getting lost in them. So he did care? That's when the word vomit came, the thoughts that had been torturing Kagome for the last day came out all in one sentence.

[For Kiya I used the excuse that she's a half dog demon, half human therefore she could get through the well as well. BWAHAHAHAHA Lu pol!!]

He held her close to him and ran his fingers through her hair. "I'll be with you until you no longer want me by your side..." He said softly closing his eyes a bit.

"Sorry," Kagome cried pushing him away a bit as rushed inside herself house unable to believe what she just did.

It didn't matter. Inuyasha probably didn't even understand. He would be by her side? He'd been doing that since they first met. She didn't know how to say it, but she wanted more.

"Kagome," he said reaching out, as she ran off from him. He was still no where nearing a woman's heart. He sighed deeply lowering his eyes.

"That was intelligent..." Kiya remarked looking to him.

"SHUT UP! WHO THE HELL ARE YOU TO BUTT IN!!" He yelled at her snarling.

" A woman, who knows a womans heart... idiot..." she said crossing her arms. "If you hadn't noticed... she's in love with you, and she was expecting you to say more then just I'll stay by your side...." she rolled her eyes a bit. "Seriously, are you that stupid..."

Inuyasha growled at her, not really having any way of defending himself from that comment. 'she loves me...' he thought to himself. He really cared for her as well, and he didn't want to lose her. He just didn't know how to say it.

"I like her, she has a quick and sharp tongue." Sesshomaru says smirking at the remarks against Inuyasha. "Whelp even I could tell, do you know how bad that makes you look. That I who hates you and your little gang knows more about their feelings than you its embarassing." He says laughing again.

Kagome came back and decided it was best not to say anything. Maybe Inuyasha would simply forget their conversation. What had she been expecting anyway? For him to marry her? Like that would ever happen, demons probably didn't even know what marriage was.

"Okay I still have to figure out what to do with the demons that are stuck here," she sniffed, "I can't have them running around causing trouble."

Kiya finished off his statement," Try to make up for something you don't have...." She made a soft chuckle to herself.

"WHAT DID YOU SAY!!" He yelled back at her.

"Only a true fact... " she laughed and walked away. She came back moments later,sighing. " Mindless demons are a lot more interesting then getting into anything with you.....such is life..." she said glancing around.

"Maybe I'll keep her around, especially if it makes you even angrier than you already are Inuyasha." Sesshomaru says laughing. "And I've defeated you enough times whelp, you never stand a chance." He says gripping Bakusaiga.

"Inuyasha you're not stuck here like us," Kagome interrupted coldly, "why don't you just go home?"

She tried to hold her tears back about never seeing the fuedal era again. "Sesshoumaru...you can sleep on the couch and your friend can have my room," she stated, "we'll figure something out."

"...Kagome..." he said softly looking to her ignoring both Kiya and Sesshoumaru. "FIne, I'm leaving!" He shouted as he went to walk back towards the well. He was upset now, she was defending the two of them.

Kiya blinked looking to her, "Keep your room... " she said. "I prefer the trees anyways... I'm used to sleeping in them..." she waved it off. "Besides... I'm not tired..."

"Inuyasha wait no," Kagome ran forward and quickly grabbed his sleeve.

She didn't mean to hurt his feelings, and now she was scared. What if she made him mad to the point that he didn't return? She would never see him again.

"No," Kagome almost sounded like a young child as she tightly held on to his sleeve not letting him take another step, "I can't hide what i'm feeling or i'll lash out again. Inuyasha I love you and I need more from you than just being there if you feel the same."

Good thing she was emotinal now, as always, or she would have been hurt by the two demon's dislike of her house.

"....Ka...gome..." he said softly as he pulled her closer to him, his arms around her. He laid his head on hers and closed his eyes. He stayed there for a moment, and sighed lightly. "I don't want to ever lose you... you mean so much to me..." he said softly. "I hate it, when you cry, or get hurt..."He pulled her back so she could look at her face. "It's because I... love you as well..."

Kiya looked at them,"Well... isn't that cute..." She sighed deeply,"I can't understand why it makes me so jealous though..." she shook her head, and started to walk off from the two love birds. "...how am I going to get back home..." she said softly.
